I’ve read the docs already. It is showing up on the post pages, but it isnt showing up on the blocks modules. Please give support. See for yourself http://mhmag.nl

Hi Marius,

I’ve changed the setting according to your solution.
But I get this problem:
1. The slider is not a full width slider
2. The slider image is above the frame with empty space below the image
How can I make the slider above the sidebar & content?

3. The width is no longer 3/4 + 1/4 , making the sidebar too wide and the content place too small.

Is that possible to have 3/4 + 1/4?
I can see that you have 1/4 + 3/4 in the layout setting, can you add one more in the future template update?

For block works only if you use the full layout in visual composer and use the Default template with sidebar that force the layout on 2 columns.

Hi,
Do you want to have the full image when hover the mouse? That is custom and only if you achieve that with a plugin if exist.

Go to module_6 and uncomment this line if you want to show the author name: http://screencast.com/t/Zz3388CI

I’ve installed the ajax_the_view and wp-postviews plugins and it show the views on the post pages, but it doesn’t show the views on the homepage and category pages. I use block 2 and 3 on the homepage and module 6 and 7 on the category pages. Also, the views wont show on post pages on mobile.

Also, those plugins slowed down my website. Most visitors won’t noticed because of the cached pages created by WP Super Cache.

Hi,
I tried to set the post introduction length at the back end THEME PANEL -> EXCERPTs -> EXCERPTS LENGTH but it’s not working.

I think that the introduction is too short on the homepage as below:

Hi,
I have changed to title font size at the back end, THEME PANEL -> THEME TYPOGRAPHY

I did it one by one and finally would stay at the font size for CONTENT TITLE on the homepage as below, the CONTENT TITLE is slighter bigger than the CONTENT FONT SIZE

However, in the particular post, the CONTENT TITLE is significant smaller than the POST CONTENT FONT SIZE as below:

At the category URL, the POST CONTENT TITLE is also smaller than POST CONTENT FONT SIZE as well:

Please help so that the CONTENT TITLE SIZE can be consistent.

Hi Marius.
Please see screenshot http://i.imgur.com/sKl3LP6.png.
In the site http://www.wpthemesdigest.com/ when we hover mouse in any post thumbnail then full image displaying.

And in the module 6 we able to display category name. can you help one thing also when we open any category like http://www.bestwp.org/category/premium-themes/business/ then bellow post category name will change to by author name.

marius when i change it the “#disqus_thread” inside of the articles, when i click on comments icon, it’s lead to the comment section, but when i click comments icons on homepage or on other pages, not going to comment on the article. The problem is does not read the link of article, and put /disqus_thread on current page

hi,

you can have only one section of the page with background image.

create a page , use the template Homepage- bg + .. or Homepage - bg - .. then set the Slide background with your custom image (URL to the image) save the page and open it.

See my comment above. Big Slide works just fine with other categories, and it also works with Featured, as long as unique articles are disabled. It doesn’t work when unique article function is enabled.

Just to be clear: Unique article system is not supposed to hide articles in mega menu from the front page? It does that now. Is there a fix?

Hi,
You can change it on 3 columns but will affect entire modules. You can try it and see if work correctly.

hi,

try to use less blocks on the homepage,

try to set the Big Slide to show post from another category, see if it works.

unique article system only insure that there are no duplicated articles on the page.

I found the problem: The unique articles feature (!)

When it’s disabled, everything works fine. The big problem, obviously: duplicate posts on the homepage. Looks sloppy.

When unique articles is enabled, the big slide with the featured posts disappear, and the posts on the first row in mega menu act as if they’re visible on the front page. I thought this was fixed in an earlier version? I have 3.6 running.

Hi there,
I had the same problem. It’s due to the fact that the the_views function in wp-postviews.php reads the value of the “views” custom field from the homepage instead of the single posts mentioned in the blocks, so all counters on the homepage show the same value.
I fixed this commenting out
//$post_views = the_views(false); in td_module.php
and adding
$post_views = get_post_meta( $this->post->ID, 'views', true );
which reads the value of the views custom field of each single post. It seems to be working so far… but be careful, it has some implications, as it overrides the the_views function.

Hello,

I’m using the plugin ‘AJAX Hits Counter + Popular Posts Widget’ to display one popular post on my homepage sidebar, as i’m using a cache plugin as well.

How can i apply the same styles to this code:

  <a href="{permalink}" title="{post_title}">{thumbnail-320x240}{post_title}</a>
</span>

So it looks the same as the other posts (output) on the homepage?

Clear things up: I want the same font and size for the post title, rounded image for the widget also positioning of the text and image (so it doesn’t look any different for any other content on the homepage).

For the rounded image, i’m using the custom CSS (in the theme options):

.wpb_row.row-fluid div.thumb-wrap a img {
-webkit-border-radius: 10px;
-moz-border-radius: 10px;
-o-border-radius: 10px;
border-radius: 10px;
}

I don’t understand your question, sorry, can you be more specific, show me in a screenshot or something.

For the loop is used a general layout builder and will be on all modules(loop) if you change this.

Is ok for your homepage, we used H1 on title posts. All the SEO stuff was done following the guide from SEO by Yoast. https://yoast.com/
