Hello,
Sorry but we do not have any suggestions to make in this regard as the theme has no settings for moving your WordPress install along with the theme to a different domain. You should search for a few guides on how to move your wordpress install first. http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-clone-a-wordpress-site-in-7-easy-steps/
Thank you!
Hi,
This can only be the result of problematic plugins, or theme modifications. Try to think when this error first occurred, and what has been done prior to that. Maybe you installed a plugin, or made a modification and now can identify a possible cause. You could always reinstall the theme, and see if this fixes the problem if you should consider this an option. Please let us know how it goes.
Thanks
Hi,
Please try to understand that this issue with the social counter is now fixed, and it is working properly. All you need to do is to download and install the latest theme version and use the social counter plugin from this package. Then it is very important that you clear the browser cache as instructed above, if you cannot generate the Facebook token.
@m0000g Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information so we can investigate. Also provide your social counter Facebook configuration (Facebook Id, Facebook App Id, Facebook Security Key).
Thank you for understanding!
Hello haqemcom,
We do not have any problems in this regard -> https://www.screencast.com/t/KEPYdl6W8, sorry! Do you receive this in your console? Most likely, this might happen due to your untested plugins used by you. Try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files and rule out any conflicting plugins.
Thanks for the message!
We have purchased your theme and installed it here https://www.tuiris.com but just recently the big grid on the home page is not working correctly. The latest post are not being shown on the big grid.
Hello i have done what you suggested, it still doesn’t solve the problem and am still getting the same error
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_detect_encoding() in /home/mzansinewspost/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3084
i have even reinstall the theme several times
Hi,
I can’t install demos. Instead of the “include content” checkbox and the “install” button, the texts and buttons appear together, without any function (see image in https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3Pw4yfb1JZVeFVwS0ZxMlZBeUE).
Can you help me?
Thanks!
You might create your own custom style sheet for printing. Lots of online tutorials for this.
Most themes have no such option built-in as the universe has moved to “paperless” and “print to PDF” or “save as PDF” is more common these days and that if often subject to how the particular solution works in printing, often with its own internal styles to embed fonts legally in PDF vs bitmaps.
Some browsers require setting print layout to ‘wide’ (landscape) vs ‘tall’ (portrait).
Or, install a print to PDF plugin, which is what we did on our site(s). I think we use the free one from bestsoft or something like that.
(( I don’t work here. ))
Good afternoon.
I installed your test plugin. The plugin registers a ‘td_books’ post type.
I created five different genres. The question is, can I install a separate sidebar for each GENRE !!!. Not for one book! Or is this possible only for the entire post type?
In normal rubrics, your theme allows you to do this – CATEGORIES-Per category settings ….
I would also like to do in genres)))
Thanks for the help.
Hi,
In case that your thumbnails are not properly generated, please make sure GD Library is installed and enabled on your server – http://php.net/manual/en/book.image.php
If you use CDN please disable it and also the other plugins except Visual Composer and regenerate your thumbs again.
Also provide a link to your site so we can take a look.
Thanks!
Hello,
Try to use the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.
.td_social_type .td_social_info{
top:-10px;
}
This problem happens due to your unproperly installation. Try to remove the old plugin and update it. Clear all your caches and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Hello MamasLT,
To be safe, try to make a full backup to your database and then make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way and use only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files and rule out any conflicting plugins. Clear all your caches and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
There could be a conflict between plugins, please try as a test to disable all your plugins except Visual composer, clear any caching installed then check to see if the issue is still there. Also check any custom code you might have entered in theme panel, or directly to the theme files. Switch to the main theme if you are using a child theme to see if this has any effect.
Different plugins are compatible with different themes, it is just a matter of time until you find one that can cause problems. Please let us know how it goes.
Thanks
Hi,
Please check any custom code you might have added in theme panel or directly to the theme files, regarding the page container or structure. Also check if you might have entered margins or padding for the rows that you are using in the page – https://www.screencast.com/t/nBkH2TJl9Z6 and modify or remove them.
If you are using a child theme, please try and switch to the main theme and check if this fixes this issue.
At last this could also be caused by problematic plugins, you could try as a test to disable them all except Visual composer and clear any caching installed. These steps should fix this problem, or at least help identify why this is happening.
I do not know exactly how that menu plugin works, or what options it has. You can use it for the menu, or use the default theme options and settings. You can create different styles of mega menus for example
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/
Thanks
I tried all that, including downloading and installing the version posted here, disabling all plugins, disabling CDN, clearing cache, etc…
Just can’t get the token.
Anny suggestions?
Hi,
I have ACF installed for my postings where I require two dates 1) Published Date 2) Last Date.
I want to show Published Date on my home page for all my posts rather than wordpress post date. How can I achieve this. Please help.
Thanks,
Hello Marcus_S,
The theme should have to work as expected without any additional untested plugins and customizations. Try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP and use only our recommended plugins, clear all your caches and check the results. After this, if your problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page. Provide there the link to this topic so we can easily identify you.
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
By default template you mean the default demo – https://www.screencast.com/t/zeDuPD69Uq
You can choose any demo you want and install it normally. More information here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/demos_introduction/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
Also as advised please make a backup for your website just to be safe. You can use this tool for example
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-create-a-complete-wordpress-backup-for-free-with-backwpup/
Thanks
it is in td_social_counter.js may be in the latest version I just installed
Hello WakeUpCallProject,
1)Unfortunately, our theme does not have any such an option for search button in Top Menu bar, but only for Main Menu, sorry! If you want to achieve this, you should do some additional customization through the code and if you aren’t aware of these, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer o help you! Another alternative for you would be using a plugin with this functionality and check how it will work for you.
2)Unfortunately, I do not know from where you achieve that borders on your side because the theme with default settings do not contain these, sorry! I recommend you to check all of your customizations and try to re-organize in a fresh install and check the results. You should check our demo preview -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/ and there you will not found any intermediate borders as you have, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
Please note that there can be some delay for the data to refresh after successfully setting up the social counter accounts. If you still have problems, maybe something else is interfering with this process. Try disabling all your plugins except Visual composer and the social counter (make sure you have the latest version from the theme package) clear any caching installed and try again. This is working properly on our end, and so it should be for you.
Thank you for understanding!
Hi,
This could be caused by a problematic plugin, please try to disable all of them except Visual composer, clear any caching installed, then check to see if the problem is still there. Also please check the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned if needed, according to this guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Thanks
Hi,
The code seems to be valid. Basically this code needs to be entered in the required section in theme panel and should work properly, after the initial processing time of up to 48 hours according to google. Try clearing any caching installed after adding the code and wait again for a period of time, this may vary. Maybe this article will help you troubleshoot if it is not tracking properly

Hello. I just bought the theme from ThemeForest, but get an error when I try to install it as follows:

Please help.
I have a hostgator shared server that gets updated automatically. Last night it happened an update and I now my website shows an error on the top of it:
Warning: Illegal string offset ‘td_post_template’ in /home3/wadl4i0accao/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_single_template_vars.php on line 75
I saw on other tickets that you guys mentioned this issue is due to the php installation 7.1 and the theme can’t work well on it. That is why we should only use version 7.0
However, I spoke with hostgator and they said they can’t revert the php installation back to 7.0. Also they suggested that I should speak with the developer and these updates only happens because of security or vulnerability issues.
Could you please help me resolving this issue knowing that I can’t revert back the php installation?
Thanks
Rodrigo
