I have tested the weather widget function, but everything is working properly. Please try as a test to disable all your plugins except the ones provided with the theme, remove the weather widget from your page and clear any caching installed. Then add the widget again and check to see if it is working properly. Please let us know how it goes.

I have inspected you website and it seems to load poorly indeed. From what I can tell the website is taking a lot of time loading the cache you are using – https://www.screencast.com/t/DxOwNzhYt7x and almost half a second for each image on the website. Adding those together results in the present situation.

What you could try is use the recommended cache plugin with the settings specified here

You can try a fresh theme install with the latest version using one of these methods

I could not say for sure if that plugin, or in fact what plugins other then the official ones are fully compatible with the theme. You will just have to try to install it and see if it is working properly. If it is not you can try other plugins with the same capabilities. Please note that not all plugins are compatible with the theme,but this is the case for all the wordpress themes.

Installing a demo will not limit your theme functionality, but it will add the demo style to your site and some settings are overwritten by the demo in order to get that particular style to work. You do have all the customization options intact but some parts of the demo were added with css and they will need to be removed with css as well, but they do not affect your settings.
Uninstalling the demo can also have repercussions on your content this time if you edited the demo content. We do not recommend editing the demo content and using it as your own. Uninstalling the demo will also remove the dummy data that came with it.

Please ensure that you have right setup your Trending sorting of your block from Block Settings in the panel. Also, if you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core file and rule our the conflicting plugins. Clear all your caches and check the results. If the problem is still there, please provide some deeper details about your problem so I can identify it.

Please update your theme to the latest version as the social counter receieved an update. Please disabkle and delete your current social counter and install the one that comes with newspaper 7.8.1
