I’ve not touched the site in about 2-3 weeks as I want it to be stable – before I do anything. BUT if I simply go to the homepage (www.doogle.com) it looks a mess (again). Why does this keep happening? This is now the third time (see previous posts). I don’t want to keep reinstalling Newspaper but if it’s not stable then I’d need a refund.

Hello, thanks for answering promptly. Regarding your questions, as I mentioned in previous message I just installed your Newspaper theme (fresh WordPress and Newspaper theme installs) and imported with content. Absolutely no custom colors or codes.
So we keep addressing the “plugin” question and I keep saying all the plugins are installed and ONLY the necessary plugins are installed. This is an issue with multiple staging installs and I think once I even tried to install an earlier version via the newspaper time machine. I have invested more time into this support query thank you have, and it isn’t right. Itsbhaed to believe what you’re telling me because it means that MAJOR functionality of this theme is broken, Tag-Div is aware of it, and yet no one has fixed it yet. I’m sorry but this is not a good explanation from you and it is not believable. Please take a little more time to look into this issue and let me know of an immediate workaround because this website that I’m trying to build is on a tight schedule and this exchange has already wasted three days time. Thanks.

Thank you for the suggestion. The problem with this malware (weatherplllatform) is that it is very easily installed in WordPress files, most of the users who contacted us no longer had that code in the theme panel, but it was present in the index.php files and even in wp- includes/js/jquery/jquery.min.js
After I cleaned all the files that I found infected, I asked the users to reset the passwords, especially for the administrators, and to be sure that the permission settings for the WordPress files are correctly set (usually these settings are checked by the host). So far, these users have not reported any problems following these steps.
Now if you say that you have different IPs that force the website, it means that they want to exploit the website and try to use the initial solution to re-infect you.

You cannot have post settings for a CPT. The only way you can assign a template to your CPT is to build it with the help of a blank template or install an already-made cloud template.

A few weeks ago, my website (www.thecolonymagazine.com), suddenly lost all of the thumbnail images from it. My host is GoDaddy. They’ve hosted my site for 5 yrs and never a problem until now. I’m running PHP version 7.4.30 and Newsmag version 5.2.
This is the text that appears as a place-holder for the images on my homepage: “Enable thumb from theme panel-Block settings”. I tried enabling them but it didn’t work. I had also tried using a Thumbnail Regenerator plug-in (like you suggested to other users with this problem, and it didn’t work.)
With my research on this, I ran across a similar problem that people with the NEWSPAPER theme were having, and I found this solution that was posted by tagDiv:
VERY IMPORTANT! The regeneration process requires the installation of GD library for .php on the server for image processing. Please make sure that you have it installed and enabled on your server before regenerating thumbnails.
Would this also apply to the NEWSMAG theme as well? If so, please tell me where I can find instructions on how to install the GD library, and perhaps a different thumbnail regenerator plug-in, other than the one created by Alex Mills. ( he has died, and there hasn’t been support for 2 years for the plug-in).
Also, can you instruct me how to increase the PHP memory limit.

If that problem is still there, then please execute these steps:
1. deactivate TagDiv Composer
2. uninstall (delete) TagDiv Composer
3. clear cache (if a cache plugin is present).
4. install TagDiv Composer
5. activate TagDiv Composer
6. clear cache (if a cache plugin is present).
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict or a cache issue. That’s why we recommend first deactivating ALL plugins except tagDiv ones; if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache (also from your browser), and see the results.

Hello, I just installed your Newspaper theme and imported the https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_downtown_pro/ but for some reason, it’s not loading as in the demo. Images and topics are also different. Also, the top header color is white, and can’t see the menu. How do I fix this? I just bought the theme and while trying to install it to WP I get the following error:
Template is missing. Standalone themes need to have a templates/index.html or index.php template file. Child themes need to have a Template header in the style.css stylesheet.

If you want to display the line on all deceive all you need to do is to set this custom css in Theme panel > Custom code> Custom css

But please notice that the button for share for the line is showing only on mobile devices because was made only for mobile deceive, in order to work on desktops your visitor needs to have an app installed on their desktops.

A code in your frontend is appearing only when you have a plugin uninstalled when it should be installed, so instead of the code, it will display the element from that plugin.
Make sure you have the latest update of the theme and plugins, too. Check if all the necessary tagdiv plugins are active in Newspaper -> Plugins.

This issue could happen if you reinstall the demo. You should just install the necessary tagdiv plugins and activate the theme. A license can’t be unlinked by itself.

Yesterday I had a problem that I never faced before. My theme stopped working on my site, the front end was code only.When I entered in the Dashboard at the Newspapper section my registration key was no longer linked to my website.
I had to register my purchase code from Envato again and had to reinstall the pre-made site template. Doing that, all my custom settings I have done before in the builder were erased and had to structure the design from scratch. Very unpleasant experience. Now, I bought even a site backup service if something like this ever happens again. Also, I only use the license on one website, as I should, so using it on multiple sites can’t be a reason.
Does anyone know what could cause that on experienced something similar? Please let me know. Thanks!
How did you se the classic editor? By installing the related plugin?
