I just purchased this template and installed a pre-built site. In the documents, I read that there is a way to remove the prebuilt site. Can anybody guide me on how it can be done?

Make sure you have the latest update of the theme and plugins too. Install the Standard Pack plugin if you use the default templates.

Hello, the thumbnails on mobile live search do not appear after I activated the block required 60×80. I installed the Regenerate thumbnails plugin, regenerated all images and still they do not appear. What should I do?
I still have newspaper 9 and would like to upgrade to 12 and had some questions.
1. Since I bought 9, is 12 free to upgrade, or is that a separate price?
2. When I install 12, do I just install the theme and activate it like any other theme?
3. Will it keep my current layout such as menu bars etc?
I’ve installed Newspaper but when it gets to activating it I only get ‘The envato API is down and we can’t verify your purchase code’. However – I’ve got the code and emailed support a while ago.
Any help appreciated.

Try to delete/ install and avtivate the tagdiv Composer, try to use the Gutenberg plugin -> https://wordpress.org/plugins/gutenberg/

There must be some way to not use very old javascript code. It makes it impossible to have other plugins on the site. For example in this picture is an event issue that was was addressed in javasript/jquery in 2018. Four years ago.
Also look at these jQuery migrate warnings. We have the newest version of the theme and plugins installed. Why is this occurring?
And lastly, there is not code in the same minified file. It is a specific file with legacy javascript.

We do not need to use any legacy stuff at all. So how can we get away from this?

It’s a brand new WordPress site with nothing installed in it. I even tried multiple times, but the Composer plugin just throws the error when I activate it.

Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, and see if the problem goes away. Please execute these steps:
1. disable TagDiv Composer
2. uninstall(delete) TagDiv Composer
3. install TagDiv Composer
4. activate TagDiv Composer

I guess you used previously another composer and switched to tagdiv one? I suggest to do as I did id back then, made new fresh install and made new pages with tagdiv composer.
Just in case to see if is it because of that, set up another webpage with tagDiv newspaper, a new fresh empty page and see if it works then.

But it works because the Molongui plugin is not active.
How can we make you see the site with the plugin installed? The strange thing is that when I am in editing mode you see the names correctly while when I exit the editor the word “administrator” comes back.

I found a file called Newspaper.zip.
I went to WP backoficce/appearance/theme/new/ and installed it.
Everything has been broken.
Luckily, from the file manager I made a copy of the WP folder to wp-old. Although I had problems I almost copied everything. I have renamed it and I see right on the main page changes in the size of three images.
I’m going to see if I can recover the daily backup and then we’ll follow your instructions.
I can’t install the tagDiv plugins. It says that the plugin installing has failed. When I try to install them manually I get the message “Download failed. Forbidden”. I also can’t also see the “activate license” page. I only see three pages when I click Newspaper on WordPress: Welcome, Plugins and Support.

I can’t get the mobile page which is associated with my home page to load. Rather it appears to be just the responsive version of the web page which is showing. Is there a setting that I’ve missed? Here are the actions I’ve taken so far:
– Created a mobile page (through the “+” method at top of page.) My current home page is connected to it <img src="https://i70west.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/mobile.png" /><img src="https://i70west.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/mobile-set.png" />
– I do not have Amp or Newspaper Mobile plugin installed.
– I emptied all caches I could think of (W2 Supercache, server, laptop and safari on iphone)
– I deactivated plugins, but that wasn’t the issue.
– Here is the mobile page as it should appear (and as it appears under the TagDiv edit page. Notice it has a “Button” to identify it as the correct version.) <img src="https://i70west.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/mobile-view-e1665434613554.png" />
Could it be some strange caching problem? I’d appreciate any suggestions you have for a fix…Can’t get it up and running until mobile is straightened out.

Hi,
Please try to do the update manually via FTP/cPanel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and do a full backup of all files and databases before updating.
Also, please try to update the theme without extra plugins activated during the installation, as this may interfere with the installation process.
Also, after the update please make the tagDiv plugins are installed, like tagDiv Standard Pack, tagDiv Composer.

Ok, I deactivated the plugin Aruba HiSpeed Cache (which is a mandatory install – automatically updated by the hosting provider) and the saving issue has been resolved.
I’m not using a child theme, I’m using the Magazine Pro template
I can’t even update the theme correctly. It can’t be installed due to however some errors. Other parts of the update were correctly installed, but not the newspaper theme? I actually don’t understand the error.

I just checked this problem on my install and for mess seems to remain the primary category. Do you use a child theme or something? Also, can you do a test only with tagDiv plugin to test for a plugin conflict?

Hi, I just updated Newspaper to version 12, and two of the four required plugins have failed to install and are no longer updated. Only the tagdivd composer and tagdiv clud library plugins are updated. This has caused my website to lose the header logo, and in the AMP version the photographs do not appear and everything appears out of square. I have tried to go back to version 11.5.1 and those two plugins are still not updated. I am very worried and I don’t know what to do. Thanks.
