The most recent update wiped out my website preferences and settings, as if Newspaper went back to default and all customization vanished. The pages, posts, headers and footers were still there, but everything went to default settings and the layout on all of the pages turned to code rather than working in Tag-Div, though the plugins were activated. Other things, like logos and all sidebars, vanished completely. Gone. Still trying to get the backup loaded to restore the website. It’s been an all day project and I don’t know if I will be successful yet. Still waiting to see if I can get the backup to load and if that will take care of the issue. If so, I don’t want to install that update again. Suggestions?

Please help me one more time. I can not Add new Cloud Templates, shows “Invalid reply from server endpoint.“. It was loading perfectly before admin-ajax.php got fixed which blocking logo upload from tagDiv composer you know that.

Have you checked for admin-ajax error? Please verify the console when you try to save the logo , usually, it displays a 403 or 404 error.
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module that blocks this.
If you use a plugin like Wordfence please set it in learning mode.
Also, make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Also, please send the link to your website to investigate it.

Seems you have an error admin-ajax.php, so please make sure you don’t have a security plugin, also, ask your host about this.

We migrated from a regular WP theme to Newspaper theme, towards the end of 2020. Our developer has worked with Newspaper theme often and has never had a problem with similar setups on other sites.
In April 2021, we noticed all our theme settings (colours, logos, fonts, etc) were suddenly gone and the main plugins that run the site were uninstalled. Our homepage looked like a bunch of code (which was just tagDiv shortcode that wasn’t being rendered).
We reinstalled and activated the necessary plugins, but the theme settings were still missing. What’s more, the theme settings were very limited after this happened. We were no longer able to edit the header or footers the way we could before this happened. But even though the backend was different and we couldn’t get the site visually back to where it was before, the website looked presentable, so we left it as-is. Cut to June 2021, and it happened again. All the necessary plugins to run tagDiv were uninstalled and all our settings reset.
So now we’re concerned this will just keep happening. We checked the logs, and we get this error right before everything went wonky on the site:

In terms of plugin conflicts, we’ve been assured that the SAME plugins we have are running on sites that also have Newspaper theme without any issues. So we’re confident it’s not a plugin conflict. Our settings are as per the recommendations from tagDiv. Our host provider can’t see anything wrong on the server level.
What are your recommendations?

Because you have installed a pro prebuilt website, it can only be edited with the tagDiv Composer. The header/footer templates are imported from the Cloud Library and can be modified with tagdiv Composer.
tagDiv Composer is a page and cloud builder, it can be used for pages and cloud templates.
If you want to use elements from Theme Panel, then you need to activate your tagDiv Standard Pack plugin and select “No template” =>https://www.screencast.com/t/1DHdVacPxL, and select what style do you want to use, but from the last update, this plugin is no longer required because the new demos are using cloud templates.
Theme panel elements are used for Standard Prebuilt Websites.
The settings made with tagDiv Composer are saved in the database.
1. If you want to continue with the header template from Cloud Library, then you need to edit the header with tagDiv Composer, like in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXQQygkCCJo
but if you want to use the header style from theme Panel, you need to add it in Header -> Logo and Favicon => https://www.screencast.com/t/KsoxbFGKiwL
2. Did you install a Pro Prebuilt Website or a standard Prebuilt Website?
Is possible to be from the firewall or security module which blocks the admin-ajax.php request. Please verify the console for error while trying to upload the logo in the Theme Panel, usually, it displays a 403 or 404 error.
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module that blocks this.
If you use a plugin like Wordfence please set it in learning mode.
Also, if you are using Cloudflare, please make sure that is set as in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/, you need to disable the Rocket Loader.
Also, make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Everything is fine until I create a mobile website in a different layout than the desktop one.
When I create a mobile website, it becomes stationary.
If I save the correct version for desktop again, the mobile version will adapt to it.
The menu disappears and a black bar with the word NEWSPAPER appears instead of the logo.
What should I do to make two independent versions work?
One template for the mobile (as in the first screenshot), the second for the desktop (as in the first screenshot in the previous post).

I’ve just started using Newspaper. I used the Magazine Pro demo.
1. I uploaded my logo from the Theme Panel and it doesn’t show up. Further reading shows that I need to also upload my logo from the TagDiv Composer. Is this the way I have to do it every time? What’s the point of the Theme Panel if I’m going to have to play around in the Composer? Shouldn’t everything be controlled in the Theme Panel?
2. I want a full width header. No matter what I try in the Theme Panel it doesn’t work. Again, do I have to use the Composer to try and figure it out?
3. I’m I required to create my own header in order for it to work with the Theme Panel and not use the demo one?

I tried what you said and it is still not working. I also add a retina logo because I saw in another post that it could solve the issue. Actually, now I have an explicit width on the header logo but no explicit height… The footer logo has nothing explicit (width and height).
I also updated to newspaper theme revision 11 and the issue remain.
This is becoming a major issue according to core vital webs update.
What can I do?

Unable to upload images in theme panel as well as logo in tagdiv composer. All required plugins were activated. Uninstalled theme and reinstalled. However, the problem remains. Theme Panel options don’t take images from the media library. I think it’s a bug in this theme. Can you please respond ASAP? I will be glad.

after installing Newspaper 11 i changed the logo in the header of http://www.bblprofis.de – after this with my notebook all looks fine. But when i open the website with my mobile the choosen logo is not shown. Instead there is shown the Newspaper logo. How can i adjust this?

I have installed the required plugins along with the theme. Imported UK London Pro template. From Cloud Templates I choose Header Template – UK London News PRO and opened in tagDiv composer to change my own logo. I tried to upload but there is no sign that it worked. I am just able to change the Title and tagline as the logo.
I read the documentation, watched youtube video you provided, however can’t change the header logo.
