I installed Newspaper theme mobile plugin. I noticed that sometimes, when I visit the site from my laptop, it displays the AMP/Mobile version. I configured the Mobile theme to Mobile + AMP.
Hello !
You can undo your changes from here: https://www.screencast.com/t/y5gc7C3F Also please make sure that your Mobile theme plugin has been installed and works properly.
Thank you !
Hi Vlad,
Thanks for the reply. I actually followed the tutorial and according my google analytics the website is receiving visits in the amp page – example (https://imgur.com/FYT32kh).
USE MOBILE THEME FOR is activated for Mobile + AMP
The rest I believe affects just to the look and feel of the site. Isn’t it?
Any help you can provide me will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Hello,

I haven’t used the mobile theme plugin or AMP at all, just the responsive.
may someone help me?
the site is accessible at : http://grenoble-ecolab.com

As mentioned above, version: 10.3.6.1 does not have mobile theme panel anymore.
In fact, my Google Analytics went to zero for AMP pages! What a mess..
Is it possible to return to 10.3.5??
Please check it out as soon as possible!!!
Mi website is
https://beautydiary.it/
but the problem is not the website, but the version of Newspaper!
Thank you
Hi,
This is because you are using the mobile theme plugin, youâll gain a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed youâll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders or shortcodes ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme, also the mobile theme will not display any sidebar)
-> https://i.imgur.com/9d0UWLT.png
Also you can show the responsive version on mobile theme (to get the same layout as on desktop on mobile) -> https://i.imgur.com/m0bVB5T.png you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ or if you want to have the responsive version only, you can use the amp option from mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/oofST3D.png (to use the mobile theme template on amp) or you can disable the plugin.
Thank you!
Hello !
The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !
Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:
Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Mobile theme plugin can be disabled from Newspaper Plugins as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/LnkZCEVC
Thank you !
Hi Sal+Pimienta, please provide me a link where I can inspect the amp version to see if the ads are provide or not.
Hi yudi budiman, you can add more ads in amp version if you set ads in mobile ads -> https://i.imgur.com/8pfvNOO.png (using the mobile theme layout for amp it will set the ads for amp version too).
Hi Christoph,
You can achieve this with our theme too, you just need to set with tagDiv Composer the mobile theme plugin and use a custom css, try a custom css like this one -> https://i.imgur.com/XljbPoc.jpg
.td-menu-mob-open-menu #td-mobile-nav,
.td-menu-mob-open-menu .td-menu-background {
width:22%;
}
.td-menu-mob-open-menu #td-outer-wrap{
-webkit-transform: none;
transition: none;
box-shadow: 0 0 46px #000000;
position: unset;
}
The code needs to be set in the theme panel> custom code> customs css.
Hope thai will help you!
Thank you!

Hallo
Thank you very much Calin. This was very helpful.
I’m thinking also about the structure and the menu for a new website. In a near future there will be a lot of content that has to be well structured and for seniors easy to find on that website https://www.aarp.org/. In my research I found a menu in a website with the same intention, that I like. It is a menu for desktop and mobile and easy to handle.
This kind of menu doesn’t seem possible in your theme. So my question is if you could built this kind of menu and how much would it aproximatly cost.
Thank you.

Hello !
You can disable mobile theme as you can see in this image:
Thank you !

https://www.shudhhindi.com/coronavirus-live-update-world-meter-in-hindi/
be it contact page: https://www.shudhhindi.com/contact/, about page: https://www.shudhhindi.com/about/, or pages every page is blank on mobile.
Kindly guide me this is a serious issue. I need a solution for this.
This is serious.
I turned off the mobile theme but now none of the tagdiv composer modifications show up at all.
Hi, could you tell how can I disable mobile theme for a single category page? I need to remove ad blocks for a single category, but I can’t apply custom template for this category on mobile.
Hi seth,
For woocommerce shop page, the best way it will be to use the responsive version of theme not the mobile version, this can be done using these options -> https://i.imgur.com/vWQrgtl.png from shop page.
hope this will help you!
I installed Newspaper mobile plugin and started optimizing my site, https://www.itechguides.com/. I just noticed a weird thing, one of my categories, https://www.itechguides.com/category/buying-guides/ displays error 404 on mobile. The category is okay on a desktop.
No other category displays error 404. I also noticed that my mobile homepage is taking too long to update to the mobile theme.
Hi finejoeyoung, if you said that now the option is st on amp, then yes, it will be display the responsive version for mobile and the mobile theme layout will be use only for amp.
Please set it again on mobile+amp save the settings and clear all cache, after that check the results! If the option is still change, please check the plugins to make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict.
Let me know the results!
Hi,
I am having issues with the menu. It’s not allowing me to edit or changing it. I am stuck with the demo menu.
I have tried
1) Editing the categories in the demo menu
2) Creating a new menu
3) Deleting some categories
But after saving both, the my website is still displaying the demo menu. Why is it not changing? Is there something I can do? This has not happened to me with other themes before so I have no idea how to fix it.
The website is http://stylevine.com.au/
Also, How do I change the header text for mobile? It’s showing Baby Pro đ
Thank you,
Mel
Hi Sal+Pimienta, there is no strange thing, you have enabled the tagDiv mobile theme plugin, and this has a different layout then the responsive version of the theme, that is way the content does not match.
What you can do if you want the same version is to use the mobile theme plugin only as template for amp version -> https://i.imgur.com/flQEloT.png or you can simply disablet the plugin.
Thank you!
I activated both Mobile Theme & AMP Official Plugins on my wordpress site and opted for Mobile+AMP option. Placed the Google auto code in the Mobile Ads section.
Please advise how I can check that the AMP pages & AMP ads are correctly set and they are working fine?
Thanks & Regards…… Renu Bakshi
I selected the Mobile+Amp for the mobile theme. However, it shows the desktop responsive layout when on mobile and the mobile theme is now only on AMP. I’m using W3 Total Cache.
I think it’s not meant to display on mobile devices (all themes).
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_baby_pro/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/assets/css/td_legacy_main.css
@media (max-width: 767px)
.td-scroll-up {
display: none;
}
you have to override it in a custom css to make it appear in mobile
@media (max-width: 767px)
.td-scroll-up {
display: block;
}
