Hello mmmmarchese,
Please understand that there is talking about two different functionalities.
The main functionality of AMP plugin is to display the posts very quickly on the Google’s eye. Basically, when a client in on AMP version, he is not on your website (that’s why your visits were falling down more and more) and the main goal is to redirect it to your own website. The AMP will have to be viewed as a preview to the posts pages of your website which are delivered by the Google AMP Cache. This is a proxy-based content delivery network for delivering all valid AMP documents. It fetches AMP HTML pages, caches them, and improves page performance automatically. For more information about this case and to better understand the operating system for this plug-in, please check the following useful manual from here -> https://www.searchenginejournal.com/difference-accelerated-mobile-pages-amp-mobile-friendly-pages/172967/
As a very good example, please check the official page of Seo Yoast and there you will see that they have not implemented the menu bar on AMP pages, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/OfzMGTLPQk
For more references and for a better understanding of AMP functionality please read the plugin documentation!!!
The Mobile plugin refers only to your own website and how it looks on the mobile phone, regarding on theme layout. For more information, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
If you do not want to use the mobile theme plugin, then you can only hide them on desktop and tablets.
You can target each individual menu item with css and hide it on all other devices except mobiles.
However there could be a downside where you can see them for a split second and then disappear from view. Css cannot remove a code entirely. Only hide it. You can try to put the code directly in style.css to minimize this effect but on slow connections you will still be able to see the change happen.
Here is an example on how to hide 2 menu items based on the menu item id number:
@media(min-width:767px){
.menu-item-3960, .menu-item-3961{
display:none!important;
}
}
Thank you!
Hi Catalin, thanks for replying, but I don’t use the new mobile version of the theme, but just the responsive one. The link is http://www.vivimarbella.com. Thanks for helping me 🙂
Hello!
better “tagDiv Mobile Theme” or “tagDiv AMP”?
I do not know which one to use
Hello,
It seems that -suddenly- all theme settings have been reset. Once I have reestablished them, the following problem comes up: on the mobile version, the icons of the menu do not appear, even putting them in another color.
Something strange happens:
If I save first the mobile menu settings, the icons appears but no the mobile logo. But I if first save the logo settings, the logo appears but no the icons.
Hello,
Unfortunately you cannot do it because using the method you mention to have different blocks on mobile/tablets/desktop simply hides the blocks for a certain device, but they still exist and are still affected by the theme settings. The best course of action would be to sort posts based on tags rather than categories or filter just particular categories on particular blocks. Our theme block settings allow you to sort posts in multiple different ways: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Thank you!
hello! and congrats for this great theme.
My client needs his mobile menu on the right side of the screen (by defect its on the left) and the logo on the left.
Please help with this customization.
thanks a lot
alejandro

Hi, I have purchased Newspaper 8.7 Theme from theme forest website. Now, I am getting an error with AJAX CATEGORIES DROPDOWN with multiple categories. This error is showing on mobile only. Drop down is working fine on Desktop but not working on mobile devices.
you can check this issue on this link: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
open this link in mobile phone and click on Don’t Miss Block’s -> More -> Vogue category.
Hello,
I want to start off and say that I love the Newspaper theme and am overall extremely happy with the results I am able to achieve with it.
I’ve recently run into a problem on my website’s homepage (https://www.thepostmillennial.com) where I have a mobile and desktop/tablet version of the page. This was achieved by using the responsive column options in WPbakery.
The issue is that duplicate posts are showing up in some of my blocks because they have multiple categories (for example breaking news and politics.) I tried enabling unique posts but this displays unique posts across both the mobile and desktop/tablet rows of the home page making it so that the articles are outdated on the desktop/tablet version since they are already displayed on the mobile row.
How can I make it so that I have both a mobile and desktop/tablet row that display unique posts in their own right but do not affect each other?
Thanks for reading.
Best, Madison
Yes. I like, is better the General Responsive Mode but my only problem is with BigGrid. I have a strong argument for to to defend the use of the normal template in the cell phone view, if the pages can not be adapted. I have some pages that need to be seen in good shape and if Mobile theme can not do it, then the alternative is to stay with the normal site.
But what do I do with BigGrid 1?
Maybe I have to create a BigGrid 5 only for mobil? (I tested in https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-5/ and I think this work)
I tried inserting this code but it doesn’t seem to be working (Theme panel > mobile theme > custom css. Any ideas?
The Mobile theme and the plug-in are activated.
The menu settings in the Theme Panel is also active.

Thanks, i might be boring, but i really dunno how to explain it now. Let me try with picture.
So:
1. Multipurpose Wine theme with Style 1-Multipurpose selected
2. Topbar is turned off by default, and i don’t need it
3. Template by itself has option to turn Search and Social icons in the Main Menu
Picture:
https://i.imgur.com/Gm9PsVy.jpg
As it shows, Search is far right, and to the left is Social Icons placeholder (i have only FB)
Questions:
– How to place something in X part, left from Social Icons?
– How to do the same for mobile, again i guess in that same line i.e. Main Menu (in mobile it switch to that 3 classic horizontal lines for header menu, mobile logo and search on far right – so, i need it for example between logo and search… or is there some other visible solution)?

In setting up Demo Fashion Style magazine template of Newsmag each image used in the article (post) grid view has many different-sized multiples such as p5-80×60.jpg, p5-100×75.jpg, p5-150×150.jpg, p5-180×135.jpg, etc,etc,up to p5-768×513.jpg.
19 separate sized jpgs for this one article in all its responsive views.
Other articles might use 8 different width-height ratios for one image. Another article uses 11 different width-height ratios.
These images are also cropped differently for wide or height-dominant displays.
I would guess you were optimizing Responsive views so that you’d have fixed ratio sizes that would fit so many devices.
But I cannot do this for every article of a News Magazine without a full-time graphics person just to generate so many custom proportions for each article image.
Do you have an auto-generate function in Newsmag that automatically generates all needed proportions from the master full-size image?
Otherwise it appears I will not be able to work right-out-of-the-box and make my magazine articles ever look as slickly responsive as your Fashion theme demo unless i can generate up to 19 different image ratios.
What is the story here on how a new article will be created with its own representative image for different responsive sizes and/or mobile devices?
Thanks for clearing up my confusion!
Hi,
The theme does not have parallax ads settings, if you used a plugin or other implementation maybe check the plugin settings. I don’t see an inline ad on your website currently in desktop or mobile

Hi,
We have had problems with the WooCommerce plugin for a while now. When installed, for some reason the mobile menu stops working. We have removed all plugins and narrowed it down to the WooCommerce plugin.
Also, the TagDiv composer does not load on our homepage, we were getting a spinning wheel for eternity. We this morning updated the theme to the latest version & now the Composer just leads us toa blank page.
Have posted about these previously, as you may have seen, but gotten 0 reponse.
Help would be much appreciated,
Thanks
Here’s the tagDiv’s answer for who want to resolve this issue:
There is an issue with Twitch icon using Mobile Theme plugin.
Please add this css in stylesheet file from mobile folder – https://www.screencast.com/t/ieRgAAW7
.td-icon-twitch:before {
content: '\e909';
}
HI,
It seems you are using the Jetpack mobile theme, on the homepage this is not loaded from what I can see
– https://www.screencast.com/t/B77hO7BGV
It appears only on post pages, category pages etc
– https://www.screencast.com/t/C6IzhEn1
The Jetpack mobile theme may not work properly with the theme, you could deactivate it and try our mobile theme plugin
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Or you could not use a mobile theme at all, the main theme is fully responsive and will adapt for each device.
Thanks
Hi,
All the blocks and big grids are predefined in terms of layout, they will always display in a predefined way on desktop and mobile
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-1/
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/full-big-grid-1/
Only through modifications they could be made to display differently, not by a theme setting.
I could give you a code that you can try in Theme panel->Advanced CSS in the phones section. It will make full big grid 9 display like this on mobile
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Fx2h0Q7Y7u
This is the code
.td_block_big_grid_fl_9 .td-big-grid-wrapper .td-big-grid-scroll .td-big-grid-post {
width: 100%;
float: left;
}
.td_block_big_grid_fl_9 .td-big-grid-wrapper .td-big-grid-scroll .td_module_mx25 {
margin-left: 0;
margin-top: 3px;
}
Thanks
Hi,
The same logo you set for the footer in the theme panel will be displayed on desktop and also mobile
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Wot2WKDRm
There is no specific setting for the mobile logo. Try clearing your cache and check again. If you could provide a link to your website we will take a look.
Thanks
Hi,
The paragraphs inside the smart list have different font properties than the regular post content font. This smaller font overrides the default font
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ODucUtxW4BqL
You could use a code to make the font bigger for all the smart lists style 8 (if you have used that often), just as the post content paragraphs
– https://www.screencast.com/t/EwWW62eW
.td_smart_list_8 .td-sml-description p {
font-size: 14px;
}
You can change the value according to your post content paragraphs if needed, this is for default settings. Let me know if you use more smart list styles, the code may need additions.
The AMP plugin is currently available only for the Newspaper theme, at this moment I cannot say if or when it will be available for Newsmag.
Regarding ads on mobile, the same ads from desktop will be shown. Newsmag does not have a dedicated mobile theme that would have it’s own ad spots. Only if you use different ads than Adsense you could use these specific containers
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-using-other-ads/
Thanks
hello everyone,
i have several problems here, and would really appreciate if anyone replies me,
1) is there any ticket system for this theme? so that i can submit a ticket and getting reply officially?
2) is this a bug? i first resize the browser to see how my webpage looks in mobile view, and when i click the hamburger menu in mobile mode, it acts weirdly, and slowly pops out like a light box. I can’t scroll up and down in the light box thing. is this a bug? (hi guys needless to answer this question, because when i review everything, this problem is suddenly gone.)
3) how to set the hamburger menu color ?
4) what is this “td-art-creek-dark-row”? where can i custom this? or create one my own? i want a different color background, but this one seems default everything to “dark”.
Thank you guys in advance, have a good day everyone!
The analytics script will be loaded when using the mobile theme plugin as well. You can check this in the source of the page, or by inspecting the mobile page
– https://www.monsterinsights.com/how-to-check-if-google-analytics-is-working/
when i put a logo in newsmag theme (footer section) it can’t show logo in mobile , it show newsmag4 logo
Hiding a block/column/row is possible, with the tagDiv composer. Simply click on the block in this case, which you want to hide on mobile
– https://www.screencast.com/t/2cCpRkp3s9Q
Switch to mobile view and also access the CSS tab, scroll down and the setting is there
– https://www.screencast.com/t/gtvxUqN5
Then that element will not be displayed on mobile. This will not work when the mobile theme is active, the composer cannot be used on mobile pages.
The post subtitle could only be changed with CSS code, there is no color setting for it at the moment. Try a code like this in Theme panel->Custom CSs
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Dvyb3sdQvwH
Use the color you want in the code
.single .td-post-sub-title {
color: blue;
}
