Hi, I edited our mobile logo (not using mobile theme, disabled plug-in), in the theme panel, but it doesn’t change on the site somehow when I view in in mobile mode on desktop or my phone.

I have this image loaded in Mobile Header settings in the Theme Panel: https://test.dorpsplatform-prinsenbeek.nl/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/DPP-logo-witte-tekst-zonder-achtergrond.png

But in mobile mode, i keeps showing this logo: https://test.dorpsplatform-prinsenbeek.nl/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/DorpsPlatform.png

Hi,

I installed the Newsletter plugin for the theme, and input the Mailchimp code. The subscribe bar shows up fine on desktop in the homepage, but mobile and ipad it doesn’t show at all. I don’t have the Newspaper mobile theme or the AMP activated, so it should show. But it doesn’t.

Any suggestions?

Hi I use wp optimise and the mobile option is active. I’ve used this for years and never has this issue. What’s also strange is the homepage is the only page that does this. All other posts/pages appear correct (mobile theme), but the homepage is pulling the td composer homepage (I’ve checked page settings as well).

Hello,

1. Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc, so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY.
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
No, you do not need a plugin to redirect to the homepage; this will automatically change, but please make sure that you have a cache plugin with the support alos mobile versions.
2. You can use this plugin to reinstall wordpress https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-downgrade/
3. No, this plugin contains malware. You need to remove it immediately.
4. You can use the Wordfence plugin to scan it.
All the plugins and themes can be infected -> https://www.wordfence.com/blog/2024/01/wordfence-intelligence-weekly-wordpress-vulnerability-report-january-1-2024-to-january-7-2024/

Hello Southview92,

The theme panel option for inline image is referring for standard templates, and you have a single post template from cloud that needs to be edited using the tagDiv Composer, there you can select the post content and add you ads in inline ads section – https://forum.tagdiv.com/post-template-ads/https://i.imgur.com/7Vnpbg2.png

Also, if you have a mobile page make sure that you set on it the ads on inline ads section too.

Thank you!

I am not a fan of the tagDiv Mobile Theme because I dont like the mobile layouts of the blog posts. I enjoy the Newspaper default theme’s responsive mobile layout just fine. However on the mobile layout of the Newspaper default theme I am using the MOBILE LIVE SEARCH widget in my mobile header. It seems the only way to edit the button color and the gradient background color of the search field (when it expands the mobile screen) is ONLY if I install the tagDiv Mobile Theme again. But in doing that it brings with it the layouts that I hate.

I already made the changes having the tagDiv Mobile Theme installed and the colors were changed with ease. Then I deactivated tagDiv Mobile Theme and the MOBILE LIVE SEARCH colors went right back to the default colors.

Is there a way to edit the colors for the MOBILE LIVE SEARCH without having to install tagDiv Mobile Theme???

I install any plugins are any thing. but I show something weird from yesterday. I just update useful articles and keep same website always and keep not doing anything new updates. but when I open a website its redirect to something call “checking a browser” website. I’m afraid. totally finished my life. I don’t have any developer. I’m the one used your theme and slowly developed a website long ago and keep same website almost 4 years same. I only update themes and plugins. please help someone. its good for students. its for charity. without income we do this.

This only happening for mobile browsers. not for PC browsers.

Note :
1- I never ever install 3rdparty plugin. I install only from WordPress plugins.
2- I never ever install new plugins. From 1 year same plugins.
3- I just update plugins. that also some time.

Hi,

Usually, this happens with cache plugins. If the cache plugin does not have mobile support then the mobile theme version can be delivered instead.
The solution would be to use the recommended WP Super Cache plugin instead and activate these settings (especially the mobile device support): https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Also, please let me know what plugin for the cache you use now.

Thank you!

Hi I use the mobile theme plugin, and I have an issue with the homepage only. For a few days it might display the homepage from the mobile view from tagdiv composer (which I don’t want) and some days it displays the correct homepage from the mobile plugin, do you have any ideas? It’s not a cache issue as clearing cache doesn’t have an affect.

Hello dimitrisv,
The Newspaper breakpoint for responsive version can be seen in the theme panel > custom code> advance css – https://i.imgur.com/KGuUTjC.png

What I suggest to do is to use the hide option from each element and add the mobile menu on table and hide it on desktop (an on table hide the desktop menu, but first enabled this option – https://i.imgur.com/FMcmWzP.png save and refresh the page to see hidden element) – https://i.imgur.com/jz3saGD.jpghttps://i.imgur.com/a4QFt1h.png
I hope this will help you!
Thank you!

Hi,

I have added css code for mobile header style. However, whenever I used to update any option from theme panel, then instantly all the styling of mobile header gone and changed to white.

Image of mobile header Before updating theme options:

https://ibb.co/qsrGbLr

Image of mobile header After updating theme options:

Please sort out this issue at your earliest and provide me the css code to resolve it.

In order to put filters at wordpress content we use this filter that works
at all themes in order to filter the content, add ads inside article etc

add_filter(‘the_content’, ‘function_with_the_filters’, 100);

At newspaper it work at desktop version but not at mobile theme, obviously
at mobile there is other filter, this is what i am searching for

Hi,

Yes, when you install a prebuilt website, this one will come with its color palette and fonts.
Did you have the mobile theme plugin activated?

Thank you!

Hi, I’m writing to get information about how your theme works, I wanted to know:
– if when I select a pre-set site it will modify the color palette, the headers and also fuck other previously created pages (otherwise I wanted to know how to create pages with the same template);
– why the template of the pages changes from mobile, and if so, how are two pairs of the page created, one for desktop and one for mobile so that both are used if the person visits the site from one device or another.

the problem concerns a page that changes template depending on whether it is selected from desktop or mobile

Hello,

1. You have now the amp plugin but also the mobile theme plugin, but I understand that you want to use the responsive version, therefore non of those plugins are not required (you can disable the tagDiv mobile theme and amp plugin).

2. This is usually related to a cache or optimizing plugin that is interfering with the js from the theme. Is this situation always, for example when you are logged in (and the cache is not apply)? If yes, then please check the browser console to see if there are any errors.
Indeed, I checked the website pagination is working now (because you disable the mentioned options from LiteSpeed cache plugin).
For css I think that you can use some options but not all of theme and for js please try to exclude those:
/jquery-?[0-9.](.*)(.min|.slim|.slim.min)?.js
/jquery-migrate(.min)?.js
tagdiv_theme.min.js
tdBlocksArray

If this is not work please try this:
/jquery-?[0-9.](.*)(.min|.slim|.slim.min)?.js
/jquery-migrate(.min)?.js
tagdiv_theme.min.js
tdBlocksArray
tdb_globals
td_youtube_list_ids
iosSlider
/td-cloud-library/assets/js/js_files_for_front.min.js

Also, the amp is deprecated https://i.imgur.com/gipeN7q.png

Hi,

For this, I recommend creating a mobile page https://i.imgur.com/BFGmEKM.png -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/, and setting the limit for block.

This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
