Hello all,
I am trying to set up the new mobile theme, and I have a few questions.
Under the Mobile Theme options on Theme Panel, there are the ad boxes for various ads. If I add a responsive adsense ad, can I control the size of it as I can on the normal ad section?
Also, when the mobile theme is enabled, it shows only the ads from the mobile theme ads menu, right? So, if I have a header ad, an ad at the beginning of an article (these ads added on the main theme panel), these won’t show on the mobile theme, right? (the mobile theme that the plugin provides)
like this theme’s update; https://themeforest.net/item/publisher-magazine-blog-newspaper-and-review-wordpress-theme/15801051?s_rank=1
”publisher support Google AMP with exclusive plugin that we developed and bundled inside theme to load 4x faster in mobiles.”
Thank you, Catalin. I did read it – my problem is that I don’t have a file with the correct name and I therefore cannot upload it as a plugin.
As far as I can see the mobile theme is available from Newspaper v7+ and I use version 7.6. Did the plugin name change?
Hi,
If you want to display the same elements on both mobile and desktop, don’t use the mobile theme, the main theme is already capable of this with it’s responsive design for mobiles. The mobile theme comes with a single predefined page template, a top grid and Latest articles section. More about this here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
The link hover colors in the footer inherit the theme accent color set in theme panel – https://www.screencast.com/t/g9gJSuYmz89 However if you want to change the link hover color only for the footer you can do it with some css, just enter it in Theme panel->Custom Css
.td-footer-wrapper .widget a:hover {
color: yellow;
}
Thanks
Hello Aminul Islam,
Please keep in mind that the Mobile Theme is fully tested and it seems to work without any problems. Notice that until now we do not have any bad reports in this regard, sorry! Please try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way, install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. For more references about this issue, you can check this -> https://wordpress.org/support/topic/ah00124-request-exceeded-the-limit-of-10-internal-redirects-due-to-probable-1/
Thanks for the message!

Hello solidpumba,
I have inspected your website and I noticed that you do not have the mobile theme enabled, right? Please notice that the mobile theme makes some troubles due to WP Super Cache plugin. Also, the WP Super Cache plugin is compatible with the mobile devices, but if you are using the Mobile Theme, please notice that you should make some changes for a better working. This could be a problem from wp super cache and not the browser. If you use the plugin, please use this method to fix the issue:
Use this link and add the customization as marked here: https://github.com/Automattic/wp-super-cache/pull/185/files
Edit wp-cache-phase1.php and add the green code from the right column as it shows there.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!

Hello crazydiver,
Please provide your website URL so I can take a closer look and also, so I can inspect it closer and provide your a more accurate response. First of all, ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme (and also, for the mobile theme), only the required plugins which come bundled with the theme packet. If you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them, leave just Visual COmpsoer to active, clear all your caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hello,
I’m getting AH00124: Request exceeded the limit of 10 internal redirects due to probable configuration error. Use 'LimitInternalRecursion' to increase the limit if necessary. Use 'LogLevel debug' to get a backtrace.
I’m using contact form 7, Jetpack, visual composer and Yoast SEO plugin on my site. Can you please help me to fix this?
The site is running, but this error from the log. Sometimes the server out of resource for this issue.
Hi,
Can you please help me find out how to install the mobile theme? According to https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ I’m supposed to install this file “Newspaper-tf\plugins\td-mobile-plugin.zip” as a plugin, however, that path is invalid and there is no file called ‘td-mobile-plugin’ anywhere in my installation files.
I do see the mobile theme as an option under at my site under ‘wp-admin/admin.php?page=td_theme_plugins’, however there is no button to activate, just the link mentioned first in this message.
Any other ways I can install the mobile theme?
I’m running theme version 7.6.
Thanks in advance. Your help is much appreciated.
Hi,
There is no need to activate Visual composer because it is pre-activated from the start, just ignore the activation messages – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ Updates for all the theme’s plugins including Visual composer are provided along with the theme update. When a new version is available, just download the full theme package from themeforest – https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/ then deactivate and delete the Visual composer plugin from theme panel and install the new one from the package. Your pages created with visual composer will still be there. But in case something goes wrong it is always recommended to have a backup – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
The theme has a responsive design so it adapts to different device sizes. If the mobile theme is not activated then the same content of the desktop will be displayed on mobile. When you activate the mobile theme it will display a predefined layout on the homepage, with a top grid and latest articles and you can add content through the mobile editor. More information here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ You can use the browser inspector tool to see the site in mobile view – https://www.screencast.com/t/zdjQv4EZ
Thanks
Hello Simion C.
I just created a new page on my site and added the content on that page but it is showing blank into the mobile theme, but on my laptop, it is working fine. So can you please help me to resolve the issue. this is URL “technosoups.com” and page is “Deals”
My Install of Newspaper is missing the SpeedBooster Plugin. I only have Visual Composer, tagDiv Social Counter, Revolution Slider and tagDiv Mobile Theme…
1) Google Insight terster showing errors :
Desktop: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8RgZ_2is2c8emNJaFg2aVNDYjA/view?usp=drivesdk
Mobile : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8RgZ_2is2c8TXN2ZDRGNG81UG8/view?usp=drivesdk
2) Many times Desktop Versions showing mobile theme and same as in mobile showing desktop theme.
Also that inline ad code doesn’t seem to work for either the mobile theme or the responsive one, it just shows the [vc_row][vc_column][td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_4″ spot_title=”Advertisement” tdc_css=””][/vc_column][/vc_row] in plain text.
Any idea?
Hello Catalin,
Can’t believe I missed your reply to this.
What I meant is I would like to have the -Advertisement- notice declared at the bottom of each ad in the mobile theme.
As of now the Advertisement notice appears above every ad. I would like the notice to appear below each ad.
Thank you.
Hellp Pradeep,
Thanks for this but quite curious but this seems to work for desktops only. DO you have a solution for the mobile search under the mobile plugin theme?
Thanks.
Hello,
You can use this code in the theme panel-> mobile theme-> custom css box:
.td_module_mob_1 .item-details{
margin-left: 35px!important;
}
Thank you!
When I activated the mobile theme, the homepage worked, but the posts did not. I get error 500. I disabled the mobile plugin and it worked. What do I do?
I installed it with the Visual Composer plugin theme folder. It is said that there is no need to activate it. But in the editor there is no option for how the page looks in mobile view. When you preview the pc image comes up. How do I edit with mobile, tablet, display? There is no editing option for live preview. There was such an option in Visual I used before.
Thank you.
Note: Since it is a Visual Composer update, will you have to download the whole theme file again via theme forest and reload the plugin again?
When we uninstall the add-ons, the themes we saved our pages, will the settings be lost? Will we come back when we reinstall?
Is it possible to export Visual Composer settings and themes and then import them again? With which vehicle can be done?
I reinstalled the plugin (first deleted it and installed the plug-in with the new ZIP from theme download.
Still same errors: A lot of http instead of https with facebook and twitter

Hi,
You can hide the logo on mobile using this code, just enter it in Theme panel->Custom Css
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.td-footer-logo {
display: none;
}}
And remove or change the footer text in Theme panel->Footer – https://www.screencast.com/t/eWBAtsgCJO and also you can change those items in the footer translations, in Theme panel->Translations – https://www.screencast.com/t/1MKQV1w6K
Thanks
Hello,
Thanks Christian for your help. You are right. The mobile theme lets you add 3 featured posts in the top grid, but you do not have the possibility to pick a specific category as the grid is filtered to show featured posts.
Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
