Hi

1. Make sure that your using V 3.2 of Social Counter, clear all caches then test again.
2. The theme was not designed to hide the sidebar on mobile, however you can achieve that using media queries and css code.
3. The theme was not designed to support rtl style and we can’t offer support for layouts miscommunication caused by this style. You will have to adapt theme’s layout to rtl style by yourself as we’re not available for custom work.

Thanks!

Hi,
The pages on the mobile theme will not show anything if you do not create a mobile version for the page. That is why there is a second page editor in the back-end. if nothing is created with the mobile editor, nothing is shown. Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!

Hi,
Please read this guide on the mobile theme to learn about what it does and it’s features: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you do not want to use it you can always disable the plugin and use the standard responsive version of your site.
Thank you!

Hi,
But did you clear the cache after disabling the plugins? If you use caching the plugin code is still cached so the conflict is still present. Please follow this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-theme-activation-error/
Thank you!

Hello all,

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option that give you a way to change the functionality for Big Grid in mobile theme, sorry! Please notice that the default sorting for Big Grid feature for Mobile Theme is Featured (the Big Grid will display you only the posts which are set in the Featured category).
The Featured category is a special category which is created by default by the WordPress and it is hidden -> http://screencast.com/t/tUOl2C7TVwcf Also, please notice that if you want to change the sorting for this, to be another sorting, you will have to alter the code from the core file where is created this type of feature, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/gTg5xwiqbnNC After this Big Grid, the mobile theme will bring you the latest articles. The mobile theme was intent to display a very simple version of the page. At the moment, you can add only text, images.
Please notice that this is not a simple task and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!
So, if you are unhappy with mobile theme, please notice that you can disable it (turn off the mobile plugin) and then the theme will be switched to the normal responsiveness mode.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

If you want to adapt the code, you have to change the margin based on the viewport. You must check the other 3 versions of the site to see if the thumb positions properly. Those are tablet landscape, tablet portrait and mobile. You can copy the code above in the specific section of the theme panel and adjust the value in the code: http://screencast.com/t/HqL9QkQlkqd

1)You can use the same mothod and change the size from the code here: http://screencast.com/t/ElqNhEf7zFG
And then use thios css:
.td_top_authors img{
max-width:initial!important;
}
.td_top_authors .item-details {
margin-left: 215px!important;
height: 200px!important;
}

2)The social icons use a font icon so increasing the font, weil make them increase in size:
.author-box-wrap .td-author-social .td-icon-font{
font-size:32px!important
}

3)You can use this css: .entry-crumbs, .entry-crumb{
color:red!important
}

4) The crumbs for the author box were not added as links. you can also see this on our demo:http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/author/marius2/
The breadcrumbs for pages, categories or tags are clickable.

5) The author page as the search or category pages, are affected by this option of WP: http://screencast.com/t/10Jifw9KWX6t

Thank you!

Hi

The theme is tested and works fine on mobile devices, including Samsung Galaxy S4. I’ve tested our demo with S4 and it works fine. I am not sure why your visitors have this issue but they can try to clear phone’s cache memory then test the site again. Also for an accurate result the tests must be done with a real device not with emulators or other testing tools as the results may not be accurate.

Thanks!

Hello hadisentosa,

Please notice that the mobile theme has been designed to be used in default mode and it will not bring the settings which are selected from the theme panel. This template has been designed to display a very simple version of the page. At the moment, you can add only text, images. This decision was been took by our developers just to give high performance to this mobile theme. SO, if you want to customize it as you wish, please notice that you will have to alter the code from the core file and these processes involves custom work and we cannot provide this type of services at the moment, sorry! So, if you are unhappy with our mobile theme, you can deactivate it the mobile plugin and the theme will be switched to the normal responsive version which takes over all settings from the panel.

Thanks for your understanding!

Be sure your mobile theme plugin is active. And if is actvie, try to update visiual composer.

and if you already do both of that. Look mobile theme settings from theme panel.

Not sure if anyone can help.

When i am activating the new Mobile Theme plugin i am getting the following error.

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Mobile_Detect in /home/polhour/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-mobile-plugin/Mobile_Detect.php on line 29

I have tried installing it on my test server with no other plugins activated so there is no conflict there.

Hello Tagdiv Team,

Right now I’m using Newspaper theme on http://www.bigscreenhouse.com .But after the launch of mobile theme I realized that its better to create an Android app with WebView feature to release an app on Play Store. As on the current website my main revenue is via Adsense and policy of Play Store mentions that usage of Adsense on WebView will violate the policy of Adsense & PlayStore and may affect in the ban/removal of accounts. So can I use the Newspaper theme within the same domain (like http://www.bigscreenhouse.com/android or like android.bigscreenhouse.com) by another installation? Or whether I need to purchase the theme once more to use like this?

Thanks!

Hi, I do not want my site visitors to see the numbers of views counts on my articles.

How can I do this?

Before you gave me a code to hide the desktop views ( .td-post-views{
display: none!important; ) – on the desktop this code worked properly for a while and after sometime the views count came back (it flashes quickly in and out whenever you on a post).

The mobile theme has always soon the view counts, although I tried using the above code, that didn’t work.

How can I solve this?

Thanks for the assists so far.

Hi,
Unfortunately the pagebuilder does not work on the mobile theme. That is the entire point of the mobile theme to not use the pagebuilder in order to get faster loading speeds as pagebuyilders are very “heavy” when it comes to speed. https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!

Hi,
1) Please contact your hosting then and let ask if there is any caching set automatically and how to clear it. Make sure you also clear wp super cache.
2) The footer logo on the mobile theme can be removed with this code:
.footer-logo-wrap{
display:none!important
}
3) The minify option we use is this one: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Hope this helps.
Thanks.

Hi

1. That happens because when page is loaded the theme first loads the css from style.css file then it’s the css generated by the theme from theme panel. To avoid that delay you can edit the style.css and paste there all custom css generated by the theme. That css can be fount in page source: http://screencast.com/t/VsXush6P Currently you have this code: http://pastebin.com/mHsMpdZC and this one from theme panel > custom code > custom css: http://pastebin.com/RLF5Gwca You can paste this code in style.css: http://screencast.com/t/7NJL47O7dPI
Note that if you make any changes trough theme’s colors or theme’s fonts the css will be modified and you have to update it again.

2. Checking the page I’ve noticed that the plugin set a 60% width for event’s description, that’s why the page becomes very long. Try this css to make event’s description 100% width: http://screencast.com/t/xLjCVg7PsS

.tribe-events-loop .tribe-events-content {
width: 100%;
}

3. Please check your customizations from theme panel and make sure that conditions added are meet, otherwise the code won’t be executed. I am not aware of Events Calendar functionality and I can’t provide an accurate answer in this regard.

4. Please check our documentation for more detail about how mobile theme plugin works: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ Note that the mobile theme won’t display any content made with Visual Composer. Basically only the content inserted in mobile editor will be displayed on the page when mobile theme is enabled. If you want to have the same content on mobile as on desktop just live mobile theme deactivated.

Thanks!

Hi,
OK than is there an option to enable page builder codes on mobile theme?

Hello Mecburlar,

Please notice that the only way to translate the theme is from Theme panel->Translations, like this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/loading-translations/ The theme does not have such a different option for translation for Mobile Theme.
I suppose that you are referring to adding the sidebar for mobile theme, right? So, please notice that the mobile theme dos not support sidebars.
If you refer to something else, please provide more details.

Thanks.
