Hi, can we skip the mobile theme only from home page? We need mobile theme for all posts not for any pages, especially home page. is it possible?
Hello @nuggsog !
Your website can’t be reached. You should customize the homepage with the TagDiv Composer.
More documentation about the cloud templates is here:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-templates/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use the mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.
Thank you!
Hi Bettina,
That doesn’t work. Adding a negative margin to the left side of the image only moves the image. It does not change the alignment of the text. See here for reference: https://www.loom.com/share/a41cf5c45fe44b2382c6f98be7f34540?sid=c69c4288-a183-4d03-b45b-e18008862836
As shown in the previous video, the theme has a problem. The alignment of the text within the text over image doesn’t work for mobile. Please let me know a solution?
Thanks!!
Hello Bettina and Calin. Thanks for getting back to me here and via email.
I noticed that some ads started rendering eventually, but I need to flag the following issues:
– I am using responsive ADS and they are occupying too much space as you can see. The previous versions of your theme never had this issue. The ads were contained in specific containers for each view (desktop, mobile, tablet) https://imgur.com/a/HoxMTiA
– ads are still not rendering within the articles. The screenshot is from Google Chrome https://imgur.com/a/aeD5UZa
– also please, not that I implemented top, inline and bottom ads and as you can see, the inline ads shows right after the top article one and not after few paragraphs as it used to be. How can we solve this? https://imgur.com/a/aeD5UZa
Thanks for your help.
Fabrizio
Here you can see a screenshot from mobile https://imgur.com/a/x0qKc92
Most probably the code is pulled from Mobile Theme section, but it proves that the Adsense code is correct (using the same Adsense code)
It’s better, but still something is not configured correctly. Disable the mobile theme plugin page displays differently, picture below:

And when you leave the mobile mode “EXIT MOBILE VERSION”, then the site works properly and the photos can be enlarged:

Hello,
I am facing issues after the recent updates to render Ads on desktop version.
I am using Ads from two different Google AdSense publisher IDs to make sure that the issue is not with our Google Adsense account. I can exclude this reason also because the Adsense are showing correctly in mobile view.
Listing below few informations and screenshots useful to debug the issue and help us to resolve it:
– Newspaper theme Version: 12.5.1 installed
– deactivated, eliminated, reinstalled and reactivated all the plugins from scratch
https://imgur.com/a/2EHuzlD
– made sure that DISABLE on desktop in NOT enabled
https://imgur.com/a/wbgUrXL
– followed your latest guidance for the implementation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/
as you can see from the screenshot https://imgur.com/a/6PzL89X, the Adsense code is implemented in the Single Post Content Ads tab (something is rendering, but nothing is showing. It’s visible when Inspecting the page from browser https://imgur.com/a/LPbR5WC)
– let me also flag that the INLINE Ads doesn’t show inline, but it’s placed just right after the Top Article Ads
– the same issue is showing also on the pages (Header and Sidebar ADS). I followed your guidance by implementing AdBox elements and pasting the Adsense code in there, but despite the Adsense seems there, nothing is showing. https://imgur.com/a/DvYgXvg
Please, help us resolve this issue. Before it was very easy setting up the advertisements by just placing the code from Theme Panel > Ads and now everything is messed up.
If you need to inspect my website, this is the URL: https://italiapragaoneway.eu/
Thanks for your kind support.

Hello @satheeshraj!
There is an option called accent color in the Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Mobile theme -> Theme colors -> Accent color.
For breadcrumbs, you need to add a CSS code like in theme panel -> mobile theme -> custom code:
.entry-crumbs a, .entry-crumbs
{
color: #536aed;
}
Thank you!
Hi,
The issue is with hyperlink, breadcrumb, auther name color. How to change these colors in mobile theme.
Regards,
Satheeshraj V
Hello @elly!
Please note that you can’t change the footer if you use the mobile theme plugin.
Thank you!

Hi,
Unless I’m doing something wrong, there seems to be another bug.
1. In theme panel put this Ad code in both, Sidebar and Custom 1. Screenshot
2. Edit page with tagdiv composer and add first Ad Box element and chose Sidebar and second Ad Box element and chose Custom 1. Screenshot
3. Save and open this page in mobile size screen – Sidebar is stretched all way across, while Custom Ad 1 is 300 wide as expected. Screenshot
Thanks.
Hello @elly!
You can not customize the mobile theme layout in the tagdiv Composer, only the cloud templates.
Thank you!
Hello @elly!
If you want to use cloud templates, then please uninstall the mobile theme plugin.
Thank you!
Hello @rickyrt !
This is not AMP, but the mobile theme which has the same layout.

Hello @elly!
I recommend you to use the other 2 mobile versions available in our theme: 1.
Thank you!
There are duplicate titles on your website between AMP pages and original url for example
https://styleyoudo.com/exploring-the-art-of-lip-art-creative-expression-for-your-pout/?amp=1
and
https://styleyoudo.com/exploring-the-art-of-lip-art-creative-expression-for-your-pout/
what fix that and i use both theme AMP and mobile
Hello!
Unfortunately, there is no option for the mobile theme plugin.

Hello @manjunatha !
From my point of view, if you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no reason or benefit to AMP. Unfortunately, you can not customize the amp pages so easily, because there are not so many settings and the AMP plugin that you use should be compatible with those features.
Use this CSS code:
a, .td-post-author-name a, .td-post-content blockquote p {
color: black;
}
Try to change the Accent color from Theme Panel -> Theme Color -> General Theme color -> https://i.imgur.com/gvoN3sh.png

Hi,
I’m using only default mobile theme (without AIMP), how can I cretae pop up for mobile?

Hello @rickyrt !
I recommend you to use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/imagify/
I suggest you do not use AMP without mobile theme plugin.
Thank you!

Hi everyone,
I wanted to optimize my Newspaper theme blog for mobile and made a custom mobile page with tagdiv composer. My problem is that I can’t change the mobile page that is shown on my phone to the custom made mobile page. I already changed it in the cloud template plugin but it just shows a grey yes under page templates->Homepage templates->Mobile page.
I would appreciate it if i got help.
Thanks for reading this
