Hi there, I do not want to use the mobile theme for it does not show the pages on my site very well. I would like to be able to add items to the main menu that only show on mobile (once the hamburger toggle appears). Is there a way to do this? Perhaps a class and some CSS?
Thanks in advance
Due to the large number of posts related to the AMP issues in 9.6, I think that a recap would be useful:

Turning ON the “SHOW ON AMP” option give us:
– TONS of error alerts from the Google Search Console (a drop in the search rankings is probable)
– We are unable to use critical plugins like DISQUS and others (Disqus is AMP enabled and is a MUST in any news site with solid traffic)
– Mobile Google Analytics issues. Guideduchien wrote: “Before i had a bounce rate average on mobile 86 % and page views per session 1,28. But now with tagdiv mobile theme and amp plugin, bounce rate is 1,96 % and page view per session 2,32, it’s not possible.”
– Reported problems with the speed of the site
– Post views not counted on mobile
– AMP links are invalid
Turning OFF the “SHOW ON AMP” option give us:
– No ads on AMP, we can’t monetize AMP!!
Downgrade on version 9.5 seems to be the only option at the moment, but is not a long-term solution, because Simion C. wrote “soon the AMP plugin would have stopped working once the official AMP plugin implementation we used became deprecated.”
Also, Bogdan B. wrote: “unfortunately if you do not like the mobile theme implementation you will need to use an external amp plugin…”
Does it sounds like it is time to search for another theme?. I was a happy Tagdiv user for years, but that response makes me think that a proper mobile implementation is not critical for Tagdiv.
How to I know AMP work or not. I think AMP is not working: https://prnt.sc/mvzjzm
On this page: https://10bestgear.com/golf/balls/, I already enable Mobile theme and AMP plugin.
Hello, my website have broken css when I have the AMP plugin and mobile theme activated on desktop.
Is there anything I can change to make it work?
Hi, I have got our mobile menu working just how I want it, thanks to the new header composer in 9.5/9.6. One thing I can’t do though, is to remove the social media icons that are at the top of the mobile menu when it drops down. I cannot see a setting in either the TDC header panel, or in the Theme panel….Can you help?
Only other issue btw, is the very slow appearance of the header in desktop or mobile. The Theme panel version is very fast – the TDC version takes a second or more to appear.
Can I make this type of menu for the mobile theme? https://prnt.sc/mvy3go

Thanks in advange.
UPDATE: Now everything is working fine although I’d like to know how to edit my mobile site design, and upon plugin activation why the desktop design is hindered?
Hi,
I recently bought this theme, and somehow I managed to setup a few things. However, I was trying to fix my Mobile design (Header) as my LOGO wasn’t visible. So, I installed the tagDiv Mobile Theme and thereafter I couldn’t find any option to change my Mobile Design Header. Bottom line, my desktop site is showing Mobile Version.
I deactivated the plugin, and yet mobile version is being displayed!
I have already tried viewing my site in incognito mode, still, the problem persists! I’m ready to share my Purchase code/site, and login details.
Seeking a positive and prompt response from the team!
Regards
Vansh
I recently updated my theme new version of Newspaper 9.6.
The AMP not working properly, and I can’t monetize my absence ads and some posts doesn’ support it. of course, the ads can be managed by a mobile plugin(with AMP support) section.
but I’m strong to say not interested to use the mobile plugin.
kindly, please develop the AMP features, why are you doing this.! the previous AMP plugin features perfectly alright and working like charm with no other issues.
I need to roll back into 9.5 version I didn’t do that, because the Envato gives only 9.6
please develop the features or rollback to the older version. I tried with the older version of AMP plugin which I have already backup my server. the old AMP plugin says, “we temporarily discard that (something like that.)
please resolve the issue ??
Ok, so it is a problem with the current mobile theme and the PSN plugin, the stylesheet is not loading in the articles only on mobile (front page is loading fine), desktop is fine. Can you check and maybe tell me a solution?
website is http://www.gadgetbridge.com
The top grid is not showing on my homepage on mobile, but if i switch to a category it is showing. You can check out http://www.jobbsmart.no on mobile. How can I get the top grid also on the homepage? And is possible to have all articles presented with title on top of image (like the top grid)?
Ok, so there is some compatibility issue with the new theme and pagespeed ninja plugin, it was fine till NP 9.5. we disabled the PSN plugin and the pages have started to open again, however, the performance of the pages have gone down considerably. Awful is the word, while we were doing 91 previously on the mobile theme on Google pagespeed insights, now it is down to 40!! Same is the case with the desktop site.
Hi, I would like to integrate the iubenda banner in the mobile version.
I use the latest version of the mobile plugin you created.
I tried to enter the code that gives me iubenda and put it in the custom code html section but I do not see any banner on mobile.
How could I do?
Thank you
hi,
We just updated the theme to the new version 9.6 and installed the new amp and mobile theme.
Suddenly nothing is opening besides the front page. also on the front page the top 3 bar menu is also not opening.
Please help!
Hi Guys,
I installed the AMP and the Mobile Theme as outlined in this article https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/ and did everything in that article and finally tested the AMP results and received an error Saying “Not a valid AMP page” with the specific issue being “The mandatory tag ‘head > style[amp-boilerplate]’ is missing or incorrect. I wanted to attache a screenshot of the error but there is no way to do that here. Any help to fix the problem would be appreciated.
“
The error only comes when the mobile theme is disabled on AMP: https://prnt.sc/mvrm3e
To sort out this error for now, goto https://www.yourwebsite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=amp-options ,
You’ll possibly see that the TEMPLATE MODE is selected is “Paired”, that option’s creating the issue, so set it to classic, it’ll solve your issue. . .
Beside, wait for team to assist further 🙂
Iya, mobile pluginnya merusak halaman shortcode.
Hi
I have updated to 9.6 and am using the new mobile theme. I am having an issue where by all the links on my footer just go back to the home page (even though they work fine on the non mobile version and if you check the URL that should take you to the page, it just goes back to the homepage instead)
My site url is: https://moviesgamesandtech.com
many thanks
Andrew
Hello,
is there any way to changes the smart list in mobile theme? the default for mobile theme smart list 1, I want to change it to smart list 3 for numbering style only. Oh yeah another feature in mobile theme still static yes? not yet option available like composer or widget I think. By the way I love your theme, there’s plenty feature you have and yet I still impressed each time I try too lookup the theme.
Sorry bad english.
only way to use AMP on smartphone is to disable ‘show on amp’ from setting of mobile plugin but the result is text not formatted by any css … bottom also appears written ‘Powered by WordPress’ that is certainly not the best…
Hello .. I purchased News9Paper theme 4 days ago around. I am finding it way to complicated to configure. Also, around 90% of my site users are mobile based. But this theme has a lot of limitations as to mobile configuration. I can’t find an option to apply for the refund. Help me !!

I have to agree … this new AMP setup is awful. I was excited to upgrade to 9.6 to make use of the new “header layout” feature, but once I realized that I had to rebuild my AMP pages all over again (and also be forced to use the mobile theme) I decided to downgrade back to the old version for the time being.
It’s a good thing I always back up my old theme before upgrading!
Thanks that worked fine for us.
One last different question: Do you maybe have a code to display the image captions in gallerys in the mobile theme? Because we use stock photos and we have to display them by contract.
All the best,
Daniel
