How to add Top menu for mobile?
My website: Softfully.com
Thanks
Hello! I’d like to disable the theme’s mobile menu so that I can use a custom mobile menu. I am using the WP Mega Menu Pro on desktop and would like to use the Superfly Menu on mobile. How can I go about doing that?
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
Please check this topic for a solution:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-menu-28/
Than you!
Hi,
1. Using amp for mobile your menu will disappear, please read more about this in this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-menu-where/
2. If I understand correctly you desire to have a different layout/theme, if is that you need to install the mobile theme plugin and you can make changes for your mobile webe site if this is your wish ( https://www.screencast.com/t/YAjLMHz7 ).
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi charli_vk,
When you use amp on mobile ( example: search for something on google from mobile, if the page that appear in results is build whit/for amp, you will get a preview of page with out background color, menu, search, and if you click on it you will be redirected on that page) you can read more about amp here https://www.searchenginejournal.com/difference-accelerated-mobile-pages-amp-mobile-friendly-pages/172967/
Thank you for your understanding.

Hello… on mobile it just shows main menu…. How I can set so that it shows top menu as well.
Please help me…
hi after disabling some features in wprocket it works, so can I know the which URI cause the problem so that I can exclude from combining
as features disabled are
1) combine CSS files
2) optimize CSS delivery
1 more problem is please solve it:-
I have Disqus plugin in my WordPress, its working fine, but in mobile view, the Disqus part is like there is no margin from the container, it extends to both sides not staying in the container as I added the code but not working kindly suggest me so that it align to container ie.
div#disqus_thread{
width: 100% !important;
padding-left: 15px !important;
padding-right: 15px !important;
}
AMP is designed to be very simple for basic fast loading on slow mobile. See Google’s doc on how AMP works.
You can add custom CSS if it meets Google’s AMP guidelines, but there are special uses where you might have to do stuff like class=”amp-image” or similar vs “image”
Hi
I have two Problems.
1. Menu don’t work on Amp theme (newspaper)

2. Mobile theme is showing original bbpress theme
Hello,
I saw that you are using the Mobile Theme and that’s why the mobile theme layout is different than the desktop mode. Read here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks.
I know now why it was not working properly, because you use a multi-purpose header style. It will require some modification and additions to the initial code.
This code will work now – https://www.screencast.com/t/T3778Nk12h
#td-top-mobile-toggle {
position: absolute;
right: 0;
}
.tdm-header .header-search-wrap {
right: auto;
position: absolute;
margin-left: 0;
}
The mobile homepage is extremely different to when i make it smaller.

Here is an example above but the website is http://random8bit.com
I understand breakpoints, but it’s almost a completely different view.
also loving the theme, it works flawlessly little bit confusing but I am usually only a backend developer not frontend.
mobile menu not showing in my website in the mobile version, can I please help
Hi,
I initially checked with an Android phone which worked. Now that you mention I also tested with an iPhone and there is a problem, the scroll does not work for the grid in your website.
It works however with the same grid type in the live demo, so it seems to be specific to your website.
Try to place that grid in a new page, check if it works there on mobile.
If there is a problem in the new page as well, could be caused by a plugin. Try as a quick test to deactivate all non-theme plugins, clear the cache if you have any, purge CDN if you use it.
Hi,
Amp is use for acceleration mobile page ( but that just give you an preview of page, that way you don’t see the menu ), and yes it can be done custom css, but will need to be done manually, and if is not done correctly will slow down the plugin.
You can read this documentation https://ro.wordpress.org/plugins/amp/ , also you can
Thank you for your understanding.
That’s unusual, it works for me all the time. Try with !important after each value
#td-top-mobile-toggle {
position: absolute!important;
right: 0!important;
}
.header-search-wrap {
right: auto!important;
}
If it still does not work, provide a link to the website so I can take a look, could be stronger interference with other codes.
Hi,
There is indeed some squishing there, thank you for mentioning it. I will add this issue on our list and a solution will be found for those smaller modules.
If you want to keep using the slide, I could give you a code to make the two smaller modules same as the one above, on mobile. This would be the result

In case you want to use this code, here it is
– https://pastebin.com/bnjRhn6M
It must be entered in the phones section here

Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks
Hi Simon,
Thanks for your quick reply. It’s weird… what mobile do you have? The Demo works ok on my iPhone… but my website doesn’t… I did another test on different mobile with Android and it worked ok… could it be a conflict with a plugin or so?
Thanks!
Alex C
Hi!
There’s a problem with big grid slide. If you use it on mobile devices (below around 500px) images in small thumb (td-small-thumb / the two smaller images) get scaled wrong!
As soon as they reach 100% horizontal and vertical horizontal dimensions stays at 100% but the image aspect ratio gets changed (image gets squashed).
You can see that on your Demo-Site too…
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-slide/
Here’s an screenshot: https://ibb.co/nFxLme
Any help appreciated!
Hi,
You can find out how AMP works from online tutorials. Some topics I found here
– https://stxnext.com/blog/2017/12/20/googles-amp-future-mobile-explained-examples/
– https://dynomapper.com/blog/21-sitemaps-and-seo/243-what-is-google-amp-and-how-does-it-work
Using /amp is to test AMP pages, website visitors will not have to do that. After activating AMP on your website Google will detect this and cache the AMP variant of the post/page.
This AMP variant will be served by Google, through the Google search results page, for mobile users.
For example this theme demo has AMP activated
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_crypto/
Searching for one of the posts from that demo in Google search on a mobile (or mobile emulator) will return the AMP variant of the post
– https://www.screencast.com/t/hM0bcQNU
The AMP variant will be much faster to load than non-AMP.
Thanks
Hi,
This can be done with a plugin ( see an example here https://wordpress.org/plugins/mobile-only-desktop-only-content/ ), but we do not recommend you one because we don’t try any of them with our theme.
Thank you for your understending.
Hello,
It works as properly if you will check with the Mobile emulator if you are on the desktop, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/IUiGSEV5
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
I tested this on mobile, for me it works. Some screenshots
– https://www.screencast.com/t/DjzChsHgk
– https://www.screencast.com/t/W28wwfsV
I used the mobile Chrome browser in my test.
What happens if you try the same grid type on mobile, from the live theme demo
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/full-big-grid-10/
Thanks
