Hello @themastrem!

I recommend you use the responsive version and not the mobile theme + AMP, or only the mobile theme if you like the layout, but there are no more settings to customize it.

Thank you!

Oh God. Then what do you suggest? What to do for mobile visitors?

After implementing mobile theme with AMP instead of redirecting my mobile visitors to here:

https://www.hospitality-school.com/?amp=1

From Mobile Visitors to Google Crawlers, all are redirecting automatically to this page:

https://www.hospitality-school.com/=1

Please let me know how to fix this

Hello,
1. I have a problem with the registration of article views in the article panel, namely this registration is not done when the mobile theme module and AMP are enabled and set. In the tutorials found from you about the mobile theme the article setting appears at some point but in the actual newspaper panel it doesn’t appear. Can a change be made or is there a workaround so that these article views are also recorded when the site offers AMP pages?
2. Also AMP is telling me that it cannot scan my site, I have tried and searched for solutions for this but have not found any.
Note* I will keep the mobile theme disabled until you can offer a solution.
The site is http://www.ziarulincomod.ro

Thanks.

Hello, I’ve recently changed my mobile phone to a 6,67″ screen one. At that moment, I’ve noticed that responsive view when I put my mobile in horizontal/landscape position is the same as I have in a common PC. I mean, you see the landscape mobile version when you should see the landscape one. I’m not using an independent mobile theme, it just the standard one. As I said, I’ve noticed it when changing to a greater screen mobile, in my old one I saw/see the correct landscape.

¿Is there any way to solve this and having the correct mobile landscape view up of certain screen size/horizontal pixel resolution? I’ve tested in Firefox developer options and the landscape change when horizontal is greater than 770px.

Many thanks, Raul.

Hi Rasinski1986, if the amp plugin is used with the mobile theme plugin then for pages you’ll need to create a separate content in mobile editor section at the bottom of the page – https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/https://i.imgur.com/S83kxsC.png
For footer you just need to check in the theme panel footer section if you have set a footer that contains elements or you have a empty footer that use widgets that needs to be set in the appearance > widgets in footer 1, 2 and 3
Thank you!

Hello @kevinstolz!

You can create a new page and edit it with the tagdiv Composer. You can customize the pages as you want. You need to edit the logo when you edit the homepage for example with the tagdiv Composer. We have 3 options available for mobile versions that you can use:

1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.

A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.

Thank you!

Good day,

I started my mobile version with AMP. I used your instructions. I have the problem that the page doesn’t display correctly no matter what I set.

So I have been working on setting up the website the way I want it but it is possible that the theme won’t support my idea or concept.

On Firefox it sort of appears as I want it so far on the home page but interior pages are all broken.

I need to create 4 pages right now About Us, Current Issues, Past Issues, Adult Industry News!

About Us: would be a text and image fixed page that doesn’t change as I add content.
Current Issues: would display 3 images per row and 4 Rows images that I upload and they are linked to our publishers website.
Past Issues: would do the same as Current Issues but would be from previous years and instead of 4 rows of three would have 4 rows of 3 for 2023, 2022, 2021 divided into sub sections.
Adult Industry News: would display in rows of 3 images with title in text pulling from posts in the category of “News”.
Eventually we would add more pages like “Videos” that display posts from the video category in the same manner as “industry News” Image, Title, Text and the same Also, a page that does the same but features posts from other categories.

Right now it seems the theme is broken on Safari, Chrome and mobile devices. One client sent me a message that the website is a mess.

Also on Mobile my logo and header were replaced by the demo logo and tagline text.

Anybody know if what I want is possible or is this a waste of my time.

Hi,

Please disable the mobile theme plugin, clear the cache and check after.
Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ The option that you need to use.
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc, so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY.
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.

Thank you!

I set up a website (twline365.com) on the wordpress website and installed the Newspaper theme on this website, but I designed the Header templates in cloud templates, which have four device display effects that can be adjusted. After I designed them, I tried them on the mobile phone. Looking at the results, there is no response to the style I designed.
I tried deleting the cache or opening it with a different browser, but the result was the same. It did not display according to the design of the mobile phone in the Header templates, but the computer responded normally.
There is a MOBILE setting in the background Theme panel of Newspaper. I have adjusted the settings, but the result of the content modification here is not the style I designed, so it can only be temporary.

Why can’t the styles designed by cloud templates be displayed in MOBILE?

After several months thinking about if we conserve AMP pages, we decided to deactivate the plugin. We have created mobile pages for the main page, and the principal categories (they were pages with no amp version and when we had amp pages they looked great), and now when we deactivate and delete the amp plugin we can´t see the mobile pages we have.
Must we do something to solve this problem?
The blog is https://mifamiliaviajera.com
It looks to solve when we deactivate the mobile them plugin… Is it correct?

Bonjour,

Thank you for the help! Regarding the mobile menu not working, I use WP Rocket to optimize my site so I switched from “Remove Unused CSS” to “Load CSS Asynchronously” and that fixed the problem.

Hi, I can’t find anywhere to change the colour of the links I’m adding to my content. All is fine and straightforward for the main theme. However, links on mobile are the same colour as the text and get missed.

Hello @allerenitalie !

Make sure the content has a separate row and that you did not add the content to the header’s row. Click on the content’s row: https://app.screencast.com/1mbI7F29C0RSM
If everything is ok in the Tagdiv Composer and the issue is only on your frontend, then the problem could be from a plugin conflict or a caching issue.
Enable these settings from the theme panel for mobile menu and mobile search: https://app.screencast.com/pUtCgElyRwzjo
Make sure you choose a menu in order to display there: https://app.screencast.com/TffmDPVrdAg0Z?tab=Details&conversation=AKSAQD3gCjYHzgr0YLpH4k

Thank you!

Hello,

Did you add the ad box element in the mobile menu? You need to add the ad box element in the mobile menu.

Thank you!

Hello,

So, certain settings may apply to each viewport (e.g., where the border is blue), while others do not (e.g., where the border is black).
1. You can not set another limit of the posts, one for desktop and one for mobile, only if you have a mobile template.
2. I recommend first doing the changes for the desktop and then for another viewport.If you want some blocks for mobile then I recommend to create a mobile page/template.

Also, check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/

Thank you!

Hi,
I just checked and it appears that this is coming from an custom file – https://i.imgur.com/PclTAbo.png so what can be done is to identify from where is that code coming or to use a custom css to overwrite it:
body {
background: transparent;
}

The css should be set in the theme panel > mobile theme > custom code > css – https://i.imgur.com/iQJRwMe.png after that clear all cache.
I hope this will help you!
