Hello!

I’m using Newspaper with WP-Rocket. Everything seems fine, but my mobile menu simply does not open on touch/click. It’s a modal popup element.

Any tips?

I noticed when viewing my site on a mobile phone device that the header flickers and the logo size changes slightly. Is there a way to disable the alternate header from triggering when a user starts scrolling… only on mobile phone devices?

To clarify, I do see some changes between desktop and mobile reflecting correctly, but at least these changes made on mobile also reflect for desktop, etc. and I only want the changes to apply to mobile:

1) Post count – via tagDiv Composer > (Any flex block) > General > Extra > Limit post number

2) While in mobile view, I created a new Title block. That Title block and its formatting also appeared in desktop. I only wanted the Title block placed/viewable in mobile view.

It does not look I can set custom views by “viewport” with the theme presently? It applies to all viewports.

I tried editing post count and also displayed different formatting for Title elements on mobile, but that did not work unfortunately.

If this is not currently supported, is it possible for this to please be included in an upcoming release? FYI – Elementor supports different layouts, post count, etc. by viewport/view at present. Thank you!

Why the image is not showing?

Thanks!

Hi,

Today, I’ve installed the tagDiv Mobile Theme.

I can see properly the ads on the home page (mobile version), but not inside the posts (mobile version). I’ve tried to insert the code everywhere, and anything works.

My website:

Any idea? Many thanks!

Hi,

I don’t know how to erase this gray blank space in the top of the header of the Mobile version of my website (appears just on the home page in mobile version).

Screenshot

When I’m going to edit the header in the Cloud Templates area, and I’m using the mobile view, I can’t see this space.

Thanks.

Hello,

You can create a mobile page and and set filter to exclude posts or categories -> https://i.imgur.com/9Hr1OoC.png -> https://i.imgur.com/j6yiwLp.png

Thank you!

Hello,

I just checked, and it seems the categories are displayed https://i.imgur.com/BKz1NFS.png
Also, for mobile you use mobile theme plugin, and the content needs to be added in Mobile Editor -> https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH

@Mero Notice media, please provide more details about your issue and what you try to download. I did a test, and this issue does not appear to force me to download a file.

Thank you!

Hello,
I would like to know if there is a way to avoid certain categories of posts being shown in the mobile version of Newspaper. Currently all posts are shown from the most current to the oldest. My question is, is it possible to indicate that posts in certain categories are not shown?

Thank you very much in advance

Regards

Hello there,

I am almost ready with publishing my website, I went through a lot of issues with the theme and found many useful plugins and fixes that I will share in one post once everything is done to help people.

One of my final dramas is the mobile menu submenus. When I load my page I see that for a second the dropdowns are unavailable and this makes it a little bit annoying. I am uploading a video for you to understand the issue. Is there a way to fix that?

Hi,

You can create a mobile template and use another block for mobile or hide the block for mobile.

Thank you!

Maybe this is the same error on my Site also. problem on opening through a mobile browser.

The problem is when I open my website through desktop browsers, it opens properly and loads properly, but when I try to direct my website link through mobile it is not open, and download some tmp files. how can I find an error?
After That when I deactivate all plugins after activating and trying to load it works properly.
and again after some hours same Issue.
maybe some bugs on the mobile slug/homepage or somewhere. because when I open through mobile other content links open but the main website link is going to download some TMP file like this image.

Hi,

Please check if you have enabled these settings from the theme panel for mobile menu and mobile search: https://app.screencast.com/pUtCgElyRwzjo
The social icons from the mobile menu are coming from the Theme Panel -> Social/Apis -> Social Networks -> https://i.imgur.com/kKYIECB.png remove/edit them after your needs.

Thank you!

Hello, I have some question regarding the mobile menu. Whenever I open my site on my phone I can’t access the mobile menu, whenever I click on the icon it just changes color and doesn’t open anything.
Also, is there a way for me to remove the social media icons in the mobile menu?
Thanks in advance.

The Mobile site is back to work now, thanks.
However, there are still a couple of issues on the mobile-site. 1. How do I link the about Page to the About button? 2. the categories: Business, Entertainment, Health, Sci/Tech should have 6 levels, missing Level4, Level5, Level6 for all sections.

Hello. Articles on the mobile page are shifting to the right, which negatively affects site speed. How do I prevent these shifts?

Thanks! That was really helpful but although we love the magazine theme, we found the right margins for the article posts were very wide. We accept this is a design feature for the magazine style.

So is there specific css for a Page template style – a way of saying, “just apply to page template style 1”?

Or alternatively, for all mobile post template styles, perhaps I want to say, “Don’t word wrap the featured images of any post template style on mobiles” or maybe “Don’t align-left the featured images on mobiles”?

We had added the code below to the custom css for mobile phones, to make the featured image spread across the page.

/*article post featured image. Push right margin rightwards, beyond default setting*/
.td-post-featured-image {
margin-left:0px;
margin-right:-70px; /* !! This setting causes the featured image */
/* in post settings Post Template Style 1 */
/* to go over the opening article text */
}

I should have realised that this caused the issue for Post Template Style 1 – your code revealed it to me by preventing it.

Hope you can help?

Hello,

This usually happens with cache plugins. If the cache plugin does not have mobile support, the mobile theme version can be delivered instead. Please check the setting to enable mobile cache https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/lscwp/cache/

Also, you need to edit with tagdiv Composer the cloud template to change color, fonts, and so on-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ The option that you need to use.
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc, so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY.
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.

Thank you!

<b>Mobile</b> theme weird behaviour

Here is the latest issue. I cleaned cookies, cache, CDN cache, LiteSpeed cache and for half an hour that’s what appears when I enter the site from a browser on 27 inch screen.

Hi,

Please don’t use blocks 1 to 25, big grid,or standard templates for header, footer, etc. Use cloud templates and flex blocks and big grids flex, as the demo was made.
The issue with the homepage was resolved after I disable the mobile theme plugin as I said to you to do.

Thank you!

Sorry, how to attach images here? If you use your mobile phone to access esl-news.com you can see the homepage is not working. Thanks

Hi,

1. if you add logo image make sure that is set to show and delete the logo text->

View post on imgur.com

2. If you created a mobile template, then you can delete the block with right-click, but if you use the responsive version, then please hide one element on the mobile and unhide it on desktop, for example -> https://imgur.com/GKIKvgt. Every element in the TagDiv Composer has a setting to make it invisible. This setting can be seen in the CSS tab of every element: [Display: HIDDEN]. You can also hide the entire row.
To see the hidden elements in Composer, you can enable this option from Manager -> Settings -> https://i.imgur.com/OkfpxSL.png

Thank you!
