On mobile theme, I receive this error on category post page:

I found out what was causing this problem. It is the Multi-purpose plugin. Deactivate the plugin makes the pageview count working again on mobile. Also, attempt to log in inside the mobile theme was blocked by the same Multi-purpose plugin!
Hi, I have installed the mobile plugin and activated it.
Now I set the counter key to the value of my old theme:
static $post_view_counter_key = ‘tie_views’;
The count on pageviews are working on the normal theme, on the mobile nothing is happening, it stays on 0!
What could be wrong? How to solve this.
It would nicer if there was a way to import the old views over to the newspaper theme!
Ok it seems to be the Async JavaScript plugin causing a conflict.
I installed this to defer parsing of js, is there anything you can recommend for this.
Also I noticed that the scroll to top arrow keeps jumping around the mobile site, is there anyway I can simply remove this?
i again Catalin, Now the menu works:) I find and install TD-mobile plugin. Thanks for great theme and support.

hi again Simon,
Now I find TD-mobile. I download the right Newspaper file. You see, before I had “installable WordPressfile only” from Themeforest instead of “All files and documentation” So now I get the Mobile plugin, It,s works 🙂
Hi,
If you use the mobile theme this has a scroll to top button. If the plugin is not active, the scroll icon will not show. It could be made to appear with this code if necessary
– https://www.screencast.com/t/FRA3s9jKrrU
Enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS section
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.td-scroll-up {
display: block;
}}
Thanks
I don’t have the mobile theme. Thats the point….
Hi,
That is unusual, I can confirm all the plugins are included in the full theme package, Download the theme package again and extract it. Check in the plugins folder, all the plugin are located there
– https://www.screencast.com/t/CtshvbUZ
– https://www.screencast.com/t/PnQQjqE7
Please check again in the mentioned folder, the mobile plugin is there as well

Thanks
Hi,
That probably means the mobile theme is not interpreting the code, it displays it as simple post content text. It should not appear if the code is wrapped in script tags. If you could provide a link to your website pointing to this issue we can take a look.
Thanks
Hello developers,
I am trying to run a forum at my website, but there were difficulties with BBPress. Initially, i didn’t want to abandon Mobile Theme (super speed) for the sake of forum. I had previously asked questions about BBP compatibility but there were no solutions. However, i have made a simple solution: by directing new users (unlogged) to register/login page using the following code:
/**
* Redirect bbPress pages to registration page
*/
function kleo_page_template_redirect()
{
//if not logged in and on a bp page except registration or activation
if( ! is_user_logged_in() && is_bbpress() ) {
wp_redirect( home_url( '/register/' ) );
exit();
}
}
add_action( 'template_redirect', 'kleo_page_template_redirect' );
Problem? The new users are stuck on the same register/login page. I have been trying to find a solution to redirect users to the same topic, but haven’t so far. For now, m relying on Peter’s Redirect Plugin to redirect user to forum main page, but that is just “harassing” users.
If there’s any solution to that, will be highly obliged. It will also help me set up a new thread for Beginners Forum Guide.
Regards
Dr.Varun
Hello,
Please disable the mobile theme if you want the same content shown on both mobile and desktop.
Thank you!
Hi,
Indeed it seems to happen. For me initially it did not work, but after browsing for a while it worked every time when clicked. It seems there are some js errors present on the website, when the mobile theme is loaded

Please try again as a quick test top deactivate all plugins (important), leave only theme plugins active. Clear all caching after doing this, if you have any. Test to see if these errors are still displayed. If you entered any code in the mobile theme custom code sections, remove it temporarily.
The mobile theme can be affected by other plugins, this might be the case here. Let us know the results.
Thanks
Hi – is the scroll to top button configured on mobile. It doesn’t seem to be working for me. I can see it on desktop no problem?
Yes, I know this but I don’t want to use it because I like the view the standard site gives on mobile devices…
But when I do this it should display the same content no matter what device I use, but it don’t.
Check out this link to find more info about mobile theme
I have sports news website on newspaper theme and i get most of my articles through news agency Content API, API is been integrated and everything is fine with that.
As articles are from news agency, they add their analytic code and some other script at the end of each articles for licencing purpose
The problem is that the code is displaying when i activate mobile theme which is really strange because when viewing articles on desktop it does not display. also when i detective mobile theme the code also does not display on mobile as well.
This is very strange issue with tagDiv Mobile Theme. i know Newspaper theme is responsive and does not need mobile theme but i like mobile theme because of its simple and light design so would love to use but this code displaying error with mobile theme is really bad and i can not find solution.
here is the link of problem https://preview.ibb.co/dsm6MH/Screenshot_2018_02_05_16_08_34.jpg
Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

Hi,
Once activated, the mobile theme will apply to all the website. You cannot exclude certain pages from the mobile theme. Mobile pages will only show content entered through the mobile editor
– https://www.screencast.com/t/p0bC2TV1kJ
Note that the mobile plugin is optional, you can simply deactivate it if you want to display the same content from desktop.
Thanks
Hello Palle_66,
Please provide your website URL so I can take a closer look at it on mobile devices.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
The mobile plugin cannot be installed through the theme plugin installer
– https://www.screencast.com/t/iv2Xztcn5
Only three plugins can be installed from there, the tagDiv composer, multi-purpose plugins an social counter.
Regardless of this, all the plugins that the theme provides are located in the main theme packagem you can install the plugin manually

Hello Juusuhako,
Yes, this is the same theme behavior for the homepage which has a sidebar. On mobile devices, this one will fall down under the main content.
Thanks for the message!
The mobile menu bar doesn’t seem to be working correctly?
Sometimes it works fine, at other time it just doesn’t respond.
I’ve tried on multiple phones, deactivated plugins etc and the same issue happens.
My url is http://www.expertmortgageadvisor.co.uk
I have a custom page from a plugin, there is a solution to set the mobile theme for all and not for thath?
Thanks for help
