Hi.

Is there a way where i can change the number of ads on the front from 4 when I run desktop and then two when i run mobile.

I have tried using the <div class=”td-visible-phone”> and it works but it only displays the ads on 50% width.

What is the right way to do it ?

Hello Ginebiene,

I have inspected your website on my iPhone and it seems to work as expected and the shortcode does not appear. Also, I saw that you are using the Mobile Theme plugin which has a default structure and which do not recognize any additional shortcode like above map route. If you want to display the exact layout from the desktop on mobile devices but the responsive mode, you should simply disable the mobile theme plugins. For more information about mobile plugin, please check the following useful documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

The top menu will not be displayed on mobile. It could be made to appear with custom code, like this for example
https://www.screencast.com/t/F4Uj2zte22H
This is the code used, enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS

@media (max-width: 767px) {
.td-header-top-menu-full,
.td-header-sp-top-menu {
display: block!important;}
.menu-top-container {
margin-right:0;
}}

Thanks

Hi,

It will require to load the font first, then apply it wit CSS for the elements you want. This is a similar topic – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/change-mobile-theme-font/
More useful information here – https://developers.google.com/fonts/docs/getting_started
So load the font first, then identify the elements where you want to apply it with the browser inspector for example
https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/

Thanks

Hi,

The top grid cannot be disabled, unless you remove all posts from the Featured category so it will not appear, but that is not a good solution.
You could achieve that a different way, it will require a modification to the mobile front page template. The slider can be then placed above the top grid, like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/EdPqz4Ode
https://www.screencast.com/t/F5pmyn1oY1

<?php echo do_shortcode ('enter shortcode here'); ?>

The result would be like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/iyizmSRu0a
Some margins could be added to top and bottom if needed
https://www.screencast.com/t/TagJsncTRb
This would be the code for that, you can modify the pixel values as you wish, then enter the code in Theme panel->Mobile theme->Custom CSS code section

.rev_slider_wrapper {
margin-top:5px!important;
margin-bottom:5px!important;
}

If you want the slider to be full width (no margin left or right) that can be done in the slider settings
https://www.screencast.com/t/KBRtdV3o7y7q
https://www.screencast.com/t/IhIWzEvv
Result – https://www.screencast.com/t/sPIvQk6BdT

The top and bottom margin would be like this if you make the slider full width
https://www.screencast.com/t/866eQxCEh

.forcefullwidth_wrapper_tp_banner {
margin-top:5px!important;
margin-bottom:5px!important;
}

Thanks

Hello Bogdan,

I just want to match the font I’m using in the desktop version to the one in the mobile theme.

How can I select a different friendly font for the mobile theme?

Thank you!

Hi,
thank you for your very detailed answer.
Now, I have added my rev slider but I whant it immediately under the header menu.
Not between the Top grid and latest articles.
Is there a way to do this above?
Otherwise, how can I disable Top grid in mobile theme?

Hello latihlogika,

I guess that you want to stretch the image for mobile devices, right? You should simply eliminate the paddings through this code. Place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS Area.

@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-container, .tdc-row {
padding-left:0;
padding-right:0;
}
}

The result is here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/4Jq5oqB5Gfia

Thanks for the message!

Hi,

That will be the case. If the mobile theme plugin is disabled, then the same content from desktop will be displayed on all devices. The mobile theme plugins is optional, you can simply leave it deactivated.
If you choose to use it, please note that mobile page content will have to be entered through the mobile editor
https://www.screencast.com/t/OuxeGzZD6pq
The plugin comes with predefined templates for the homepage, posts, category pages etc. You can find out more information here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you would like to place a revolution slider on a mobile page, enter the slider shortcode in the mobile editor for that page

No, it does not work. I have entered the code in advanced CSS only in Desktop. But on a mobile it also takes this code and shows te same font size. It takes it as much for desktop as for the responsive version. Take a look. DIARIO PERSPECTIVA It is the first news. In desktop shows title size 33, and the same on mobile.

/* Amplia del tamaño del titular */
.class1 .td-module-title a, .class1 a{
font-size: 33px;
font-weight: 700;
line-height: 35px;
}

Hey, I had same issues … but showing non-secure SSL image errors in browser.

Stray 192.168.0.120/wp_011_gadgets/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/53.jpg inside the latest Newspaper template. I think I uploaded the Gadgets config.

I found it by doing a select on the wp_options table:
SELECT * FROM wp_options where option_value like “%192.%”;

The above screencast screenshot from Simon C did the trick, found these references in the BACKGROUND Sign In/Join Bacground and Mobile menu/search background.

Please fix this in next pull request pls … its a tough one to find.

Dear sir,
I tried to follow the previous post:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/related-articles-remove-or-hide-more-from-author-newspaper-theme/
to remove the “More From Author”
but it only works on my desktop, but not on mobile.
My website is car.upsangel.com
could you kindly advise if any other method for Newsmag, thank you!

Hi,

That happens because there is a condition that hides the image on mobile
https://www.screencast.com/t/eEQS1YeLEj
Maybe there is a reason why it is not supposed to appear. You could make it display with a code like this, but it may require more modifications as the text is not visible anymore
https://www.screencast.com/t/kVU6Ud6c

@media (max-width: 767px) {
.store-header-wrapper .store-image {
display: block;
}}

Thanks

Hello,

I’m not using Mobile Theme.
This is the link http://www.ilfattodicalabria.it/

It’s not in header.php or footer.php or in THEMEPANEL—>ADS, etc.
It’s like a ghost. The code shows ads sitewide on mobile devices.

Could you find where is it?
Thanks

Hi,
I want my slider revolution on the top of my home page for any device, but I can’t see it in my mobile version.
I use “tagDiv Mobile Theme” plugin.
If I do disable the plugin then, I see the slider even mobile devices, strangely.

Hello Brain916,

Unfortunately, the standard theme’s layout for block 12 on mobile devices should look like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/mRFE2sMI We cannot change and also, we do not recommend to do this because the theme can be easily damaged. If you want to achieve this for block 12 you should do it yourself and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this case, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you!

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

There must be a corresponding ad code entered somewhere, if the ad is displayed on the website. If it appears only on mobile, and you are using the mobile theme, maybe you have entered it in the mobile theme ad sections
https://www.screencast.com/t/LA4PEIusPM2
If you could provide a link to your website we will inspect it.

Thanks

Hi,

You could enter the code in the Advanced CSS section. If you want it to apply only for desktop, enter it in the desktop section
https://www.screencast.com/t/6olh7daevN
The the code will affect only desktops, not mobile.
Or configure the font how you want using theme panel options (each module article title can be customized) and then create a custom code for mobile
https://www.screencast.com/t/X7BphryFS
Here is a list mentioning then modules that each block or grid are made of
https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-blocks-modules/

Thanks

Hi,

The theme is fully responsive and will adapt the website for every device. All the theme elements are responsive. I have inspected the website, there seem to be no side scrolling issues at the moment
https://www.screencast.com/t/XAE13GbDHxhh
https://www.screencast.com/t/JU4C7p1vyO
If it happens again please try and scroll to the sides and see what exactly is causing the issue. Usually these issues are caused by ads that are not responsive or optimized for mobile.
The menu is not working on desktop as well, so it will not work on mobile. Please re-add each of the menu items as categories, if they are categories
https://www.screencast.com/t/tcMNvH8qBzt
This is a guide if you would like to create mega-menus

Hi,

The ad should be displayed after the number of posts entered. It will not repeat the same ad multiple times in the loop. So if you set it to 2 posts for example, the ad will be displayed after two posts and stop, it will not be repeated. If that is what you need, you will have to modify the loop ad used by the mobile theme plugin.
Something like this will repeat the ad if that is what you want
https://www.screencast.com/t/dykTHoHYU43
Try it and make some tests to see of everything works properly.

Thanks
