Hello,
In the rtl modification this is very different. This s because of the rtl direction change. We have seen this before and this is a css issue. The modification to move the theme to rtl is not easy as lots of elements have to be adjusted including the mobile menu. By default the mobile menu is hidden from view to the left of the screen. If you change direction you will make it visible and have to hide it from view again. Sorry but we cannot provide any rtl solution sorry. if you find you cannot use our theme properly because of the missing RTL functionality we will be able to provide a refund as our theme is not RTL compatible.
Thank you!
Hi there! I totally love Newspaper and is the theme activated at nacionpix.com
Our problem is that in some mobile devices (and even some online tools such as SEO checkers) the mobile theme doesn’t show up and instead it shows a resized desktop version.
Can you help us to fix this small issue?
Best,
Arturo
Hi,
Please note that the mobile theme is tested and working properly on this device, with a default theme and using only the plugins provided with the theme. Usually this is caused by theme customization, custom code or problematic plugins. You should let the mobile theme active and disable all the other plugins, clear the cache and check the website on mobile.
If the issue is still present you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information so we can take a look. Also paste a link to this topic.
Thanks
Hi,
On the sticky menu you can display the mobile logo or the main header logo
– https://www.screencast.com/t/QPOt1CLJ5
One of these options has to be chosen, or you can disable the feature and not display a logo at all.
Please note that when the header affix is present, meaning the sticky menu, the logo will be reduced in size by default.
For the revolution slider, you should use the auto slide layout when using a background

thanks for your help
I am using Tagdiv’s mobile theme as well with parent newsparent theme.
I am able to change the title fonts and size using following css :
header .entry-title {color:#30394f; font-size: 35px; font-family: 'poppins'; font-weight: bold; line-height: 43px; }
but when chek it on live site, I noticed that the font-family: ‘poppins’ which I use of the desktop version, doesn’t support on mobile theme. I also tried many other popular fonts but it doesn work.
Does mobile theme not support google fonts? How can I be able to use ‘poppins’ font for post title on mobiles? Kindly help.
Thank you
Hello,
The code for these elements if you want to customize them is found here: https://www.screencast.com/t/8zUPjJfbGjo
There is a whatsapp button available but it only shows up on mobile devices. On desktop it does not work as you need the app installed on your phone.
Thank you!
Hi Simion,
Did what you recommended and have isolated the cause down to the ‘tagDiv Mobile Theme’. With this Plugin active the mobile hamburger menu becomes inoperative on iPhone. Deactivating the plugin fixes the issue. But as mentioned in the Plugin comments this Plugin is not required with the Newspaper Theme. If that is the case then how does one control the look and feel re mobile.

Hello,
If you do not want a header ad on the mobile version of the site by using a mobile theme plugin you can simply remove the header ad from the theme panel here: https://www.screencast.com/t/tRzHJc2HA
If you only want to remove it from the homeapge but have the header ad on the rest of the templates, you can use the css method for non-adsense as we discussed in the previous topic or add a condition in this file: https://www.screencast.com/t/Wvp9TXywlQ
Thank you!
Hello,
For the mobile theme you will have to add the code in the mobile theme settings as well: https://www.screencast.com/t/ke3uspInOsL
The mobile theme has it’s own separate custom code box
Thank you!
Hello,
The mobile theme plugin does not use lightbox feature. This decision was made to keep the loading speed as low as possible for mobile users. If you need a lighbox on the mobile version of the site then you should disable the mobile theme plugin and use the standard responsive version of the theme.
Thank you!
Hi,
Thank you for the quick response.
However, I do not find the suggested method the necessary method I am looking for.
Referring to the image attached below, is there a way where I can instead specify a certain height to the Post Title? This way it can stay consistent across, throughout, regardless of the words used in the post title. Keep note that if possible, it will not affect the mobile view with unnecessary spacing for the Post Title.
thanks. i’m working my way through this. there’s probably a better way to make changes than the way i’m doing — writing a lot of new CSS rules, but I’ve come across two issues that I need a little further help/input on.
• First is the sticky menu. I’m using Style 9 for the Header, with my custom-made Logo (and Retina Logo) uploaded and linked.
Also, I’m using a reversed-out (white) version of the logo for the footer (because of the dark footer background color) as well as for mobile devices (also because of the dark background color).
The problem is, when the menu becomes sticky on Desktop dimensions, the logo it’s using is the (white) mobile logo. Thus, since I’m using a very light background on my main page and header, the sticky logo is not visible. Is there a special CSS rule I can write that will use a smaller version of my MAIN logo for the small sticky menu, rather than it defaulting to the white mobile logo?
• Second, I’m using the politics revslider from the demo and will swap out the pics and link them to new titles and stories. However, I noticed what seems to be a bug. A lot of people MAXIMIZE their browser windows on desktop (especially Windows users), and what happens is that the text in the right-side div of the slider image goes off the page, i.e., outside the boundaries of the picture.
I looked at the rule for the class .tp-tabs.inner.hebe.nav-pos-hor-right.nav-pos-ver-center.nav-dir-vertical and it appears to be positioned absolutely. I tried to add a right-size margin, using both a percentage and a pixel width, but none worked. Neither did attempts at adding padding-right. I noticed you have a 50%/50% rule in the CSS to push in the text evenly on window downsizing, but the problem occurs on window “upsizing.”
Note that this is only an issue on desktop dimensions and larger (since the right-hand column is not used on mobile device screen dimensions). I think it may have something to do with the maximum page width, but before I do anymore back-and-forth chasing down this quirk I thought I’d ask you about it first.
Thanks for your attention and feedback.
Hello. I am on version 7.8 and I just found out that my mobile menu is not opening. I see the animation of the webpage shrinking before the mobile menu is supposed to slide out. Unfortunately, the mobile menu does not slide out. I have copied over my site into a staging environment and disabled all plugins that are not associated with the Newspaper theme. I still have the issue with the mobile menu.
Will it work on mobile devices as well if I am using tagdiv mobile theme?
Thank you.
I tried the solution given here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-remove-header-ad-from-homepage-only/ but it didn’t work. Yes, it was supposed to hide header ads from all devices but it didn’t work for any of them.
I am using Newspaper Mobile theme as well and I want to hide header ad from the homepage of mobile devices. Please help me achieve this.
Thank you.
On my desktop gallery work fine, featured image too, image lightbox fine, but image lightbox on my mobile theme isn’t work… do you have idea why? Thanks
Hello,
Well if your modification affects the mobile theme, you might try the plugin implementation for the Facebook comments and leave comments.php intact.
Thank you!
I mean the problem in Mobile Usability > Uses incompatible plugins (google webmasters)
and the problem that come from video featured only show
Your browser does not currently recognize any of the video formats available
Hi,
I am having a problem with the Hamburger Menu on the Mobile Theme whereby it doesn’t work when used on an iPhone. I have checked its functionality using Chrome on my Desktop and it works fine there. The version I am using is ‘tagDiv Mobile Theme’ version 1.1 with Newspaper 7.8.1.
If you call the site up, http://www.theirishplace.com, on an iPhone you should be able to see the issue.
Any ideas as to what may be wrong.

Hi. I embedded an infographic on one of the pages of my website and when viewed on mobile devices like an iPhone or tablet, it ends up going over into the sidebar (on tablet) or only half of it shows up (on iPhone). Here’s a link to the page: https://civiliansgi.com/index.php/2017/03/24/work-opportunities/ I’d like to keep it as an embedded code because it has links that are essential for viewers to click. Is there a way you could help me get it so it’s formatted right? Thank you.
How do I decrease the font size of the actual text of the comments posted on an article when viewed on mobile devices/resolutions?
Thanks!
Is there anyway to add link to phone number on image in mobile header?
