Hello djgruber,

I have checked your website on the mobile mode and everything seems to work as properly. When I have accessed your first post as you mentioned above, I was redirected to that post. I do not know where is the problem…please provide some useful screenshots where you point me where is the problem.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,
That’s the thing, you can’t. If there is no visual composer, there are no blocks. You cannot use blocks on the mobile theme. If you want to use blocks, please remove the mobile theme plugin and use the standard responsive version of the theme. The mobile theme does not use visual composer, blocks or other resource consuming elements in order to have top loading speeds. It;s a bit of a design vs speed choice. If you want to have complex design using blocks, sliders, etc., go with the responsive version. If you want to have speed, go with the mobile theme.
Thank you!

I updated the theme and a new problem surfaced. Issue of images has been resolved.
Please open website http://www.top10wala.in in mobile and desktop. Menu bar is behaving weirdly especially on mobile. First page shows only white space, then whole menu is list form and then article title. On website first main menu shows up in list form then article title.

Sidebar is still invisible.

please check http://www.newssnapped.com using iphone. As you can see, the menu can show all parent items well. but if you click any item, it display their sub-menu and then the submenu overlap all the parent menu off. The realistic one should be a bar extend from parent item and list all available sub-items to click. Please let me know what to do then.

I think I understand what you’re saying. But the link https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ I do not get what I want. It has helped me to understand that does not work with copy-paste.

Now, I wanted to know what would be the html for [tagDiv] Block.

For example, in my homepage for mobile I want to put [td_block_slide autoplay = “10” category_id = “369” limit = “3” custom_title = “” header_color = “# 467524”] and [td_block_13 custom_title = “Latest Forecasts” category_id = “26” limit = “3”]
Logically if I copy in Mobile Editor not work.

As I translate html for Mobile Editor?

Hello themesic,

The DoubleClick ads aren’t recognized by theme’s ad system and the code is rendered as it is. The theme only works using google Adsense ad codes: https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads/ … for another type of ads you can either use wp text widget or a plugin like Simple Ads Manager or AdRotate to render the code then use theme’s ad spots. For more references about this regard, you can consult this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-responsive-ads-with-google-dfp/
Also, if you want to paste your tag in the mobile version in the header section, you will have to check the header.php core file from the mobile section, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/kfBP1X4Ds

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,
This depends on the header style that you use. Some header styles you use. Some header styles position the mobile header ad above and some ads below the main navigation. What ad are you referring to? The header ad or the article top ad? Are you using the mobile theme plugin or not? As I need specific information so i can provide the proper answer. A link to your site will also be helpful.
Thank you!

Hi,
Unfortunately the mobile theme does not use visual composer so you have to re-create your pages in the mobile editor using the standard mce editor, not simply copy and paste the code from the desktop editor. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
The mobile theme will not render visual composer shortcodes. Do not use visual composer shortcodes in the mobile editor as they will simply show up on the front-end.
Thank you!

Catalin,

IMPORTANT – Please see this screengrab:
https://www.packagefromsanta.com/tests/UM_instagram.jpg

Why, on my blog, with the SOCIAL COUNTER for instagram, when a user clicks on my instgram profile it points to our UltimateMoms instagram… which is correct.

But… when a user clicks on an image thumbnail on the plugin on MOBILE (not on pc), it points to some odd instagram?? with 17k followers?

Please advise, as all of my mobile traffic that is clicking on a thumbnail image is going to the the wrong instagram!!

Note: the settings are all correct in the setup.

thanks,
Dale

Hello
I have a problem with the mobile version of newspaper7. As you can see on my homepage is shown well http://www.trebol-apuestas.com using the visual editor composer. But instead the mobile version throws problems not adequately shown content.

I compiado the html generated by the visual editor in the html Mobile Editor (html) and appears bad when displayed. What I can do?

Thank you for your answer, but I mean auto height only in mobile instead of fixing it to @media (max-width: @responsive_p_phone_max) and @media (max-width: 500px)

Btw, I’m a developer, Would you mind giving me some hint

Hi,
Please use this css to hide the footer on mobile:
.td-mobile-footer-wrap{
display:none!important;
}

You can add the code in the theme panel-> custom css box.
Thank you!

Hi,

The mobile ad code is located in header.php from the mobile file. Please edit this code and add the condition to it like so:
http://screencast.com/t/WPjEQjbIzZCC

use this code for mobile:

<?php
            // ad under header
        if(!is_404()){
            echo td_global_blocks::get_instance('td_block_ad_box_mob')->render(array('spot_id' => 'header_mob'));
        }
        ?>

Thank you!

Hi,

4) Every article category tag you see on the front-end is that of the primary category. The theme only shows one category tag depending on the primary category of the post. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/primary-category/

5)The mobile theme plugin will convert your content to a predefined layout for better loading speeds. Please read more about the mobile theme here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ If you do not like the mobile theme plugin and layout, you can always disable the plugin and use the standard responsive (desktop) version of your site.

Thank you!

Hello jordankranda,

I have checked your source page from your website and I saw that you are using a lot of untested plugins which might interfere with the mobile theme plugin and cause a lot of unknown issues. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Please notice that the mobile theme has been designed to be very basic, fast and easy to use. Also, as you can see, the mobile theme do not render to Visual Composer Blocks but only 2 modules which come with it by default. For more information about our mobile theme, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you want to customize your footer section, please notice that you only add some text within it, from your Theme panel, footer area because as I said you above, the mobile theme do not recognize the Visual Composer shortcode. As an example, on mobile theme, you footer should be in that way -> http://screencast.com/t/p1XUhZ42FZB

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,

Thanks for the reply. To confirm, I add

if(!is_404()){
echo td_global_blocks::get_instance('td_block_ad_box')->render(array('spot_id' => 'header'));
}
?>

anywhere into the 404.php to prevent ads appearing in the 404 page for the mobile plugin theme?

Thanks.

Hello sunnysunnet,

1)Please keep in mind that you are using the Mobile theme plugin, you will not bring these features on mobile mode because the theme has not been designed to render the Visual Composer elements in mobile theme, but only in Mobile Responsiveness mode. Please notice that the mobile theme has been built to be very fast and easy to be used. If you want to develop this plugin, through adding some additional settings and features, please notice that you will require custom work and we cannot provide these services at the moment, sorry! If you are not aware of these, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you in this regard.
2)Please notice that the mobile theme cannot be changed without custom work. For more information about this feature, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
3)I suppose that you want to change the background color for your Social Counter header, right? Please try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.
The code is ->

.block-title > span {
background-color: black;
.block-title {
border-bottom: 2px solid #222222;

The result -> http://screencast.com/t/B7Vpy6dCS

If you want to have the exact layout with our demo for Newspaper, please notice that you can add the template when you create your homepage, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/4L4B5uHVDa -> http://screencast.com/t/HnezjEOty

Thanks for your understanding!
