Hi,

Why Big Grid 1, don’t resize or don’t disappear on mobile…
How to have a real responsive site?

My site: http://www.enrevenantdelexpo.com

Thanks
Best Regards

Theme works well on mobile — we use it every day on our mobile devices.

a) try disabling lazy load option
b) disable any “mobile” plugins or jetpack mobile setting (up to YOU to manage conflicts with other mobile tech conflicting with theme built-in mobile CSS)
c) try turning off plugins except for Visual Composer.
d) clear cache/ reset CDN.

One of those the usual culprit!

We have posted a couple of pages which contain Facebook videos. The videos show up fine on our desktop, but don’t appear on mobile devices. Here is one example: http://powerofhumans.com/2016/01/teenager-with-down-syndrome-set-to-open-his-own-business/.

Any suggestions and/or answers to this problem would be great.

@cybergetro,
You only need to use the code in the custom css box. Not in both places. If it still does not work, please provide a link to your website so i can inspect it.

@moor
,
The method provided by Radu A does not work anymore as this is a very old topic from march 2014. The code has been changed a lot since then. If you are trying to hide the footer or sidebar on the mobile version like @cybergetro, then please use the code above to do it.
Thank you!

Deci initial trebuie sa fac acel block intr-o pagina existenta a blogului, apoi sa-i iau codul si sa-l introduc in sursa.

Hello,

You can probably do that with a background image set to the container but responsiveness wil be a problem. The site you pointed out is not responsive so you cannot see it.
If you use the default header style you can use this code :

.td-header-header{
background-image: url("http://i.huffpost.com/gen/2125210/images/o-EYES-facebook.jpg");
background-size:100%;
background-position-y: -200px!important;
}

result: http://screencast.com/t/nrZz2XyCRxS7

The main problem will be responsiveness. It will require further adjustments for every viewport: tablet landscape, tablet portrait and mobile phones

Thank you!

Hello,

In order to remove the footer and sidebar for mobile please use this code:
@media (max-width:767px){
.td-footer-wrapper{
display:none!important;
}
.td-sub-footer-container{
display:none!important;
}
.td-ss-main-sidebar{
display:none!important;
}
}

This code will remove the footer, sub-footer and sidebar.

Thank you!

Hello! There are three minor tweaks I would like to make to the header when viewed on mobile devices:

1) How can I change the menu icon (9 small squares) to the more standard 3 line icon? Is there an image file I need to update? Or is this done through code?

2) How can I increase the overall height of the header? My logo looks too small.

3) How do I change the header background colour? Sorry if it’s in the theme panel, but I cannot find it.

Thank you!

Hi

This is the theme implementation foe the left sidebar, on mobile devices the sidebar will be displayed first then the post content. To change that implementation you have to edit the single template file corresponding with the post template used and move the indicated code like here: http://screencast.com/t/YirDzAiA5 Also you will need this css in theme panel > custom code > custom css:

.single .td-pb-row [class*="td-pb-span"]{
float: right;
}

Depending by the post template used you may need additional css customization.
Thanks!

Hi

I’ve checked your site and the header ad is displayed fine on mobile devices: http://screencast.com/t/khdkv8em90 If you still have this issue try to clear the mobile device cache memory then test again.

Thanks!

Hello moor,

I have checked you website and saw the problem with your Big Grid displaying on mobile mode. Also, I notice you are using an RTL mode. Our theme has not been designed to work in RTL mode and this could cause some errors in the theme. Please check our demo preview and see that this feature works fine without problems, like this-> http://screencast.com/t/wh3urhM4A3y We suggest trying to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thank you for the message!

Hello theas,

I have tested your website and I noticed that the mobile menu does not seem to works as expected. This kind of problem might be caused by the conflicting plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule our the conflicting plugins.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Buna

Multumesc!
