Hi,
While we added options to refine the search for cloud header templates, for the mobile theme we didn’t unfortunately. And as far as I know there aren’t any immediate plans to add such an option. So the search will be performed as it normally would, displaying posts and pages.
If maybe you excluded pages from the desktop search, and you want to exclude them from mobile, you could use a plugin, it’s the easiest way. Like this one https://wordpress.org/plugins/exclude-pages-from-search-results/ or a similar plugin. Then you won’t have pages in the search results anymore.
Thanks.
Ok for anyone encountering this issue, i have WP Rocket. The issue is, WP Rocket still had an archive of template in memory. I had to install “WP Rocket | Customize Mobile Cache options” AND clear my CDN to be able to see my website like i’ve configured it through tagDiv
Hi!
It’s been years i’m using Newspaper on my website. I never encountered such issue.
I’m using this https://i.imgur.com/Ec8uoqZ.png to configure and build the mobile version.
This is only not working for my category, search and posts pages.
When i’m editing them on desktop in the mobile mode, everything looks nice. But when i’m on mobile it’s a complet different look.
Intended category page: https://imgur.com/a/NfqeWzE
Intended posts page: https://imgur.com/a/wgyp2cv
And you can visit my website: https://lassuranceenmouvement.com
You will see it’s completely different, how do i fix that please?
Thanks
How do I change the text “Newspaper” in the header of the mobile version?

Hi Support,
Please allow us to add “&post_type=post” to Search of Mobile Theme, thank you.
Now it searches all pages and homepage, which will give unexpected results.
Hi Simion,
Thanks for the suggestion.
The ‘Don’t load on mobile’ option is enabled, but I actually prefer it this way, as it prevents the menu from displaying on mobile devices in a landscape orientation.
Using Cloudflare for cache.
Hi,
There is a setting that could have this effect in some cases, it depends on the caching configuration.
In the composer if you click on the header menu on desktop, is this option active? https://prnt.sc/G7wrnliJdZt7 If it is, please disable it and clear the cache.
Normally that should not cause a problem. But for example if the cache is not created separately for desktop and mobile, and the mobile version is cached first, the visitors will see the desktop header without the menu. It can be random, depending on which version is accessed first after the cache is cleared. What caching are you using for the website?
Let me know.
Thanks.
I use modal popup to create menu on Mobile, however it doesn’t work even though I added page ID, it always says “You have not selected a page or another modal in order to display its contents.”
How to fix it ?
Thanks
Hi,
Here are some suggestions for what to check:
– Google Search Console: look for coverage errors, mobile usability issues, or indexing problems.
– SEO settings: ensure Rank Math meta titles, descriptions, and schema are applied correctly to all pages.
– Analytics: confirm GA tracking code is present on every page and post.
– Technical issues: fix broken links, redirects, or JS conflicts that may affect page speed and UX.
– Re-index key pages: resubmit your sitemap and important URLs to Google to speed up re-crawling.
Once these technical and SEO adjustments are in place and Google has re-indexed your site, traffic should begin to recover.
Hi,
What you need to do is to use tagDiv Composer to adjust the mobile version, for this edit the page/template with tagDiv Composer – https://i.imgur.com/0dty0jO.png select any element and select the mobile version https://i.imgur.com/Ec8uoqZ.png https://i.imgur.com/jV6rREj.png and adjust the elements that needs to be adjusted.
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately for that element the slide option is not available. What you can do is to use a the mobile horizontal menu – https://i.imgur.com/5K182bd.png (but this element is different from the one you want to have that option).
Thank you!
Hi,
This occurs because the desktop mode is slightly different from the mobile mode (and vice versa), we will investigate this situation and come up with a solution.
Thank you!
Hi,
That banner can be edited using the tagDiv Composer edit the page/template were it is displayed and select the mobile version https://i.imgur.com/Ap8IE4W.png select the banner, this should be hold by an ad box element, then check the image tab – https://i.imgur.com/1VflI0t.png and remove or replace the image from mobile.
The mentioned plugins not official tested with our theme, but we saw many clients using it, therefore it should be working with the theme, if you can provide some more details about the problem, maybe some screenshots or a vide I will do my best to help you.
Do you want a wishlist for your products or articles? For articles you can use the guide for Bookmark – Save For Later, for products you should try a plugin.
Thank you!
Hi,
Do you want it to be display on mobile like on desktop?
For this use this custom css:
body .td-trending-now-wrapper {
flex-direction: row;
}
The css should be set in the Theme panel > Custom code > Advance css > Phone section https://i.imgur.com/qIt6QRS.png
Hi,
I’m working on this amazing theme newspaper and my website is looking great so far.
However, on the desktop version the site looks so much better then mobile.
When I browse via my browser on mobile, I get a weird menu, colors are different. I want the same view as desktop. How can I change this?
Hello
Would it be possible to display all categories next to each other in the mobile view, so that users can slide/scroll horizontally to reveal the next categories?
Please see my screenshot for reference.

Hello!
I use the bookmark system, which works fine in desktop devices.
In mobile devices though, when you Un-Bookmark a post (Category view[Bookmark button] / Single Post view[Single Post Bookmark Element]), the bookmark icon colors do not revert to initial ones.
Is there a solution to this?
Regards
I uninstalled the AMP plugin and the TagDiv Mobile theme, but I’m still seeing a banner on my phone that I don’t have on my desktop version. How do I edit it?

I also have a question: is the https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar plugin compatible with your template? After adding an event, I get a message that a critical error has occurred on the website. How can I get around this so the plugin works?
And how can I add a wishlist page?
Hi,
The tagDiv Mobile theme plugin is usually used for blocks because it has no options to customize it, which is what is making it faster.
If you want to have the same version as on desktop, then it will be better to use the responsive version or you can try the mobile page and reduce the elements from the page and optimize it for mobile – https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
Thank you!
Hi,
Yes, you can set a video as an ad, but the problem is that they consume resources, and a 344 MB video is very large for desktop and huge for mobile – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DBc6jJyavQ
Thank you!
Hi,
Please try to use the responsive version of the theme, not the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin and amp
The issue with AMP and WooCommerce likely stems from AMP’s limitations, especially in 2025. While AMP was initially used to speed up mobile pages, it can hurt user experience by stripping down important features and design elements, making the mobile version feel disconnected from the desktop version.
Instead of AMP, it’s better to focus on optimizing your site for mobile directly. This includes using responsive design, optimizing page speed, lazy loading, image compression, and improving Core Web Vitals (CWV). These strategies provide a more consistent, high-quality experience across devices and ensure you’re not penalized by search engines.
In short, ditch AMP and focus on modern mobile optimization techniques to improve both performance and user experience.
Thank you!
hello,
I have been using newspaper theme for a while now. But the issue I am facing is that I cannot customize the mobile theme rather I have designed a mobile page from the tag div panel manually. now the issue is the pages are loading very slowly, whereas the combination of AMP and mobile theme is super fast which I cannot utilise.
screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/e61bEOn
actually I want my design to home page in the mobile theme, as I cannot customize the existing options very much.
can anyone please point me where to look at?
Thanks!
When scrolling, I want to look for the mobile theme of the page, but it doesn’t go down image https://ibb.co/HvY7mrt
I still don’t know how to set up a mobile version of the portal I created on my phone. Can you help me?
what is the Wishlist shortcode?
Hi,
It is looking like that because of tagDiv mobile theme plugin, to be the same as on desktop, the tagDiv mobile theme plugin should be disabled https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
Thank you!
