Hi helderkamei, if the images are displaying on desktop and you use the responsive version, those will display on mobile too. but if you are using the mobile theme plugin then on mobile will be display thumbs with “265×198” and the “741×486” size, if you want you can check all details about mobile theme plugin in our documentation from here -> https://i.imgur.com/V8Udotk.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
With Newsmag theme the only way to have a different version for mobile is using the mobile theme plugin, unfortunately, this do not have to many options.
Also using the Image box you can set between 1-4 images -> https://i.imgur.com/1wcYW79.png and those will automatically adjust, now if you have only one image and you want to make it smaller you can use a row or inner row and chose a design -> https://i.imgur.com/8EqQJlT.png -> https://i.imgur.com/qCMb6eH.png then just drag and drop there the image. Another option is to set on image an width in css tab -> https://i.imgur.com/Xm6OdF2.png
Hope this will help you!

AMP issues - topic

Hi guys, we are trying to get rid of AMO issues reported by the Google Search console.

FIRST ISSUE:

The first thing we are trying to do is to see if switching to a mobile theme that supports AMP help. And we are having issues even with this step. Please take a look.

– The latest version of TagDiv mobile AMP theme is installed and enabled: https://imgur.com/a/VSUYIJX
– The ‘just AMP’ version is activated in theme settings.
The problem with this is even with all those settings are enabled Google AMP checker shows this for posts:
https://imgur.com/a/yImxwab (None Amp page submitted)

So question number 1:
Why with AMP settings enabled Google still says that it is a NON-AMP page?

SECOND ISSUE:

If I go to AMP plugin settings and enable this one: https://imgur.com/a/qO9aoyU and then set Template mode to Standard (https://imgur.com/a/867MSM4) then the mobile version of the website breaks down completely and doesn’t load at all – it either shows this https://imgur.com/a/niDK5M1 or doesn’t show anything and displayed just a white page with nothing on it.

WHAT WE NEED:

We need:
1. Pure AMP mobile theme enabled
2. The the website loads correctly
3. Pages pass google amp checker – https://search.google.com/test/amp

Please let us know how this can be fixed.

Please edit the page, and select the page attributes on default => https://www.screencast.com/t/GdYjOa6EVGdD and see if the problem persists

That was helpful, thank you! For mobile menu I want it to open faster.

Also, a new problem is detected. I see no thumbnails here and do not really understand what i should do https://pipsik.club/category/interesnye-fakty

Hello,

Can you please tell me how to modify mobile header to be able to add custom icon after search icon? I know i can modify the core file “tdb_mobile_search.php” to manually add hyperlink with image but i don’t think that is the good choice because if i update theme the files that i have changed will be overwritten. Is there a better and nicer way to add icon to mobile header? Maybe via child theme? If yes how?

King Regards,
– Thomas

Hi!

I couldn’t recorded but in the mobile version the thumbnails of the posts are not been shown. It just shows the placeholder.

Another question, can I reduce the size of the image box? And also, Can I configure the mobile version independent of the desktop version.

Best regards,

Hello,

I was able to get the custom font to view on my mobile device. The issue is that if I increase the font size for better view on the mobile device it will change the font completely and if I restore back to the previous size it still will not restore my custom font on the actual mobile device. Can you please provide a solution as to how I can increase the size of the font on the mobile view without losing the custom font on the actual mobile device. Thank You!

Hello,

Please edit the page, and select the page attributes on default => https://www.screencast.com/t/GdYjOa6EVGdD and see if the problem persists, also, for the mobile menu there is no option to make it open any longer.

Thank you for your understanding!

In the link below you will see I have chosen the Cambridge font under style. This is the font I want to use. This is also the font you see in the link under mobile view. However if you use your actual mobile device this is not the font you will see. Please tell me how to fix it. Thank You!

Hello,

Please make sure that you have activated the proper thumbs for the mobile theme. The mobile theme requires the “265×198” and the “741×486” thumbnail sizes in order to show the featured images properly.
This can be found here: https://www.screencast.com/t/N18dR3qZrh
The ad box has 3 sections for ads: using theme panel ads -> https://i.imgur.com/KFa9ibl.png, using images/banners -> https://i.imgur.com/MfAPTaE.png and custom code -> https://i.imgur.com/2rh8SuD.png save it and will appear on the post (you can set a shortcode like a shortcode from adrotate plugin or other plugins)

Thank you!

If you view the 2nd link I provided you will see my custom font is already displayed. It shows on the mobile tagDiv composure but not on my actual mobile device.

If there is more I need to do I will need you to provide more detailed instructions and a step by step visual as it looks like what you are telling me to do I have already shown you I have done. Thank You!

Hi all,

How could I increase the width of the row on mobile, so the row and images stretch even further to the sides, reducing the empty white space on the sides by half?

My site https://ladyinfantahealth.ru/ on the main page does not load images in the mobile version. Tell me, what could be the reason?
Also, I don’t use Google ad blocks. When inserting the ad code into the ad box via tagdiv, my ad is not displayed. What should I do?
In the article https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/ it says that when placing ads in an article, you can use shortcodes. Tell me where you can read about how shortcodes are formed for each advertising code. In a word, where can I read how to do this?

Hello!

You can try to insert with TagDiv Composer the ads in an element called “Ad box”.
Please note that you need to use a cloud/PRO template in order to edit with that plugin mentioned above.
It seems you have a responsive version for mobile. If you want to modify it, then you need to access the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB and there you can see your mobile version.

Hope that helps you!

Thank you!

I was using the normal version of my website but want a few blocks different so made a mobile layout but noticed padding and margins only shows working in the editor but once I check on multiple mobile devices nothing changed. What is the issue?

Obviously no caching plugins active while designing 😉

Hello !

Where do you see this option. This is usually shown when there is no mobile template created. But mobile templates are optional. You can find more information in our guide here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY

I hope this was helpful !

Thank you !

Hello !

No, all you have to do is disable the AMP plugin. This will eliminate the AMP interface and your traffic will go directly to the mobile design.

Hi there!

I am facing a problem with the fonts loaded in AMP version of my site:
In this screenshot is possible to see that all the fonts are loaded twice: https://paste.pics/C04R1

This problem does not occur in Mobile pages: https://paste.pics/C04R9

Do you know how can I fix this duplicate loading?

Thanks!

Hello Support,

In the theme panel my ads section is not updating and there’s an ad appearing over an article as shown in the screenshot.

Site: Africanentertainment.com

It’s only happening on mobile device.

Thanks for the support and prompt response.

Hi,

Nice site.

Have a look at the Page Speed Insights.

I would start with your image sizes, which need compressing. There are some great plugins that will do this for you in wWordpress.

I have had success with EWWW Image Optimizer (Free).
