Hello
I followed the guide on: https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
I like the mobile theme on mobile, but when I activate it and delete cache on my PC, then the browser shows me the mobile theme on desktop.
How do I setup for to switch according to the device.
Desktop = Normalt desktop version
Mobile devices = mobile theme.
I have deleted Mobile theme and AMP for now, because it fucks my site up pretty bad.
I normally choose the 2. choice (mobile + amp)
The AMP plugin is different from your SS, but i choose Transitional and then I approve all the boxes down below.
That setting is making me show mobile theme on both desktop and mobile devices. What can I do to prevent that?
Hi, I’m new to the using the Black pro theme and I am trying to figure out how to remove the black pro logo from the site and add comments to the single post page as well as edit the footer with my own information.
Hello
I’m building a site using VIDEO NEWS from Newspaper.
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_video_news_pro/
I have a question about some theme fixes.
Q1:
When I made a mobile layout,
There is a lot of space on the right and no space on the left on the post page. I want to make spaces evenly on the left and right.
Please tell me how to modify it.

Q2:
The layout of the top page is broken when the tablet is displayed horizontally.
Also, when the tablet is displayed vertically, the layout of the top page is also broken.
This phenomenon is done by default in the theme.
It is displayed nicely in the simulator, but the display is broken when actually displayed on the iPad.
I’m obviously checking the cache out.

Q3:
I have some content that is modal, but I am having trouble because it is not displayed in the foreground.
The following description in CSS is not reflected.
.tribe-common div.tribe-dialog {
z-index: 999;
}
3.pdf
View it on your PC and click the link.
Please click「Get Tickets」
Please display this link on your smartphone. It is displayed without any problem in the simulator, but when the page is actually displayed on the iPhone, the menu appears on the modal. Of course, the cache is deleted and verified.
I would like to know how to modify it.
Thank you.
I could already find a solution for the LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) problem in the mobile and desktop version of the newspaper theme, but the CLS (cumulative layout shift) is a great issue in the mobile theme. It gets worser every two / three days. My developer has no idea what the problem could be with the mobile theme. Please provide us some help.
Greetings Kathrin
Thanks, but I know the path to find the style.css for mobile. But I don’t know exactly which parameter i should change to really get a bigger Post-Title on mobile. I have already tried H1 and page-title but there was no change in the size.
Greetings Kathrin
Hello !
I understand your point but Newspaper Theme sharing option whatsapp was designed to be displayed only on mobile devices.
I have passed this to our developers in order to re-take a loo at it and see what can be done.
Thank you !
Ok… I’ve disabled all plugins… the only plugins active now are:
AMP
tagDiv Cloud Library
tagDiv Composer
tagDiv Mobile Theme
tagDiv Social Counter
and I still have this problem.
Hi pratiek and Nagarig,
Please note that in this way was design the live search, that’s how it should work, now it was add the option to remove the live search, but you still do not like the way its displaying now the mobile search. What I’m trying to do is to help you to find a solution. Your ask is for a custom work these are perform by developers, not support staff, but I ‘m trying to help with a little custom work that I’m able do do.
To remove completely the ajax from mobile search you need to replace the js from file wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js with this code -> https://pastebin.com/LBJxbytw in this way the mobile theme will no longer call the td_ajax_mob.php unfortunately for amp I can not find a way to prevent the ajax to be use.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello !
This can be found in here: wp-cah perontent/plugins/td-composer/mobile/style.css
Thank you !
Hello !
The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !
Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:
Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Mobile theme plugin can be disabled from Newspaper Plugins as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/LnkZCEVC
Thank you !
Hi twogoodsports,
I just checked the mobile theme and for me is working without problems.
Just make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
Thank you!
Hi,
You can use a different menu for mobile version only if you are using the mobile theme plugin then you can assign the mobile menu from here -> https://i.imgur.com/b8zNx4T.png
Thank you!
Where in the mobile theme style.css I can change the size of the post-title? If I try the h1 one I can’t see any change…
Greetings Kathrin
Hi, I don’t like the mobile theme, especially the top, because there is no logo shown.
See here:

I’d like it better like that (Desktop theme top):

But I just can’t find the place where I can change the design.
Can anybody help?
Thank you
Sandra
Ok Calin, I will check it.
4. About pagination: May be it is a Mobile theme which is causing the “10”, “2” site links in Google Search.
For example: in Mobile theme, articles ae shown on different pages like 1,2,3,4,5,…. But on desktop, we have different homepage.
So may be, google has added that mobile theme page in desktop search results version?
Hi,
Please check this similar topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-theme-63/
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi Mark Gilbert,
I think that the problem is that you have set the columns widths at 28%, 52%, 20% and these are reflected in mobile version too, you need to check the mobile port view and set the columns widths on mobile to be 100% -> https://i.imgur.com/0YsaPYu.png this will fix the problem.
Thank you!
I had a ‘fatal error’ thanks to the mobile theme. Unistalling it fixed my site. There might be an issue with the mobile theme.
Hi,
The social share can be set using our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-default-templates/ note that there are social that appear only on mobiles.
Also the social share set in theme panel will be apply on single post template too.
Thank you!
Hi,
Using the mobile theme plugin, you’ll gain a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://i.imgur.com/9d0UWLT.png
Also you can show the responsive version on mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/m0bVB5T.png you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ or if you want to have the responsive version only, you can use the amp option from mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/oofST3D.png (to use the mobile theme template on amp) or you can disable the plugin.
If you are using the responsive version and you use a cloud header, then you can edit it using tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/4SWZhCN.png
Thank you!
Hi,
I think that you are referring to these socials -> https://i.imgur.com/Rhhq78f.png these are from WordPress not from our theme, here is a topic where is provide a solution for this question -> https://wordpress.org/support/topic/remove-fields-in-profiles/
To remove the newsticker from mobile version you need to edit the homepage using tagDiv Composer, click on mobile viewport after that select the element and in css tab select display hidden -> https://i.imgur.com/kLtGxS2.png
Thank you!
Hi grvag,
The extended menu will appear only on amp version, on mobile version will appear the menu with arrows, in this way was design the amp version using the mobile theme.
Also The only amp link that I can find is this one -> https://i.imgur.com/qV21M4H.png you need to check if the rest of website is index on Google.
Thank you!
Hi beautywarrior,
For amp venison you’ll need to use mobile theme plugin and amp plugin.
Unfortunately we can not say if this will work or not with Q&A plugin.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello !
1. If the theme panel does not work you will have to edit your post template using tagDiv Composer as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/CuSr76qDJ0jt ; https://www.screencast.com/t/0zlCrJYKbDk
2. Whatsapp will only be available on mobile devices.
Thank you !
