I have had this theme installed for years. There was a massive overhaul so I reverted back and never upgraded. Recently, I created a staging server and decided to go through the process of fixing all the issues the upgrade created and I have been pretty happy…until today. Today, I did the upgrade to the latest version and now my homepage will not resolve properly. When I am logged in as admin I can see the correct homepage, but when I logout I only see the code like the site is not recognizing the tag div composer markup.
https://staging.industrialmachinerydigest.com/
All other pages work great, just not the homepage.
Things I have tried:
1. I have all cache turned off.
2. I have changed the homepage in settings > reading to multiple different pages and back.
3. I optimized the DB.
4. I changed the homepage template to another page template and back.
5. I am now making a post here.
Active plugins: tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Libraries, tagDiv Social Counter, tagDiv Standard Pack
Hello!
We can take a look to see what is wrong there with the Newsletter. Please double check the embed code before, then make a full backup, send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin, so we can investigate this issue. Also paste a link to this topic so we can easily identify you.
Please make sure that you have enabled the proper thumbs with these sizes in order to show the featured images properly, check this: https://www.screencast.com/t/N18dR3qZrh
After activating the thumbnail sizes you need to regenerate your thumbnails using a plugin. Check this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-the-theme-with-existing-content/
It seems that you use the Mobile theme plugin. Let me explain you which options of mobile versions are:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Now, you can use which one is more suitable for your needs.
If you need a responsive version or mobile pages, then please deactivate the Mobile theme plugin and see the results!
Normally the code needs to be set in Newspaper -> Theme Panel -> Analytics JS in Head section: https://www.screencast.com/t/RU8q3h0dZ and the code will be set in the head of your website, after that, you should be able to see the analytics results on your google analytics account. If you can not handle to achieve this, then please specify in the email this issue too and we will have a look and help you efficiently.
Thank you!

Please note that if a page is made by Composer, than the content won’t be displayed on Mobile theme version. Check the case here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-pages-not-shown/
If you use Mobile theme plugin, then you can not edit the pages with TagDiv Composer.
There are no settings to customize the pages.
You have only some settings for this layout, which you can find in Theme panel -> Mobile Theme.
AMP is faster and works better only with the Mobile Theme plugin. The design is looking pretty similar as our plugin. Please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/
If you want only Mobile and not Mobile + AMP, please set it in the theme panel -> mobile theme -> mobile settings this option.
Hope that helps you!

Hello,
For page speed please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/why-is-my-websites-mobile-google-test-slow/
Also, you can try to optimize the images.
If you want to have a faster website, then you need to request some developers that have the proper skills, if you want to can make a request here -> https://tagdiv.com/services/custom-services-page-speed-optimization/
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi!
I’m sorry that you are having issues with the website performance optimization on your website. Newspaper theme has tools that allow you to optimize the performance like – Mobile theme, CSS Analyzer tool, the possibility to create mobile pages, Cloud Library templates and more. You can see and test the pre-built designs (Demos) and see how they are optimized. We do not falsely advertise.
However, the website performance depends on a variety of factors like server speed, caching service, used plugins, fonts, scripts, ads, external resources and, of course, the theme. I’m sure you can understand that under the theme support we can’t fix server related issues, plugin configurations or external ads. From this point of view, each website is unique and must be treated as such. We’ve created the tools to optimize the website from the theme and we can only guide you on how to use them.
Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to your website and we’ll analyze it and provide guidance on how to optimize it. Unfortunately, the theme support doesn’t include page speed optimizations as we can’t perform the actual optimization for you (this is what our documentation states).
My suggestion is to send us the email and we’ll be glad to provide guidance. If you want the devs to make the implementation for you, we’ll make this recommendation and forward your request to the web development service where a separate team handles customizations and provides on-demand development services.
I’m looking forward to seeing the email so that we can help you.
Thank you!

I’ve read through a lot of threads regarding blurry images, the image looks fine in the post itself but in the various thumbnail sizes on the home page they look blurry, I’ve set them to use full size, they look fine when viewed on my phone.
So I tried different browsers and found the images look fine in firefox and terrible in edge and chrome, is there a way to fix this issue??
I found a post on a WordPress forum where he used this css code
img {
image-rendering: -webkit-optimize-contrast;
}
would that help fix the issue and if so where should i put that code??
Thanks in advance
Hello @mixos,
If you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here: https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/ you’ll be able to increase the speed of your website.

Please make sure to use our newest tool called tagDiv CSS Analyzer which comes in handy to resolve some of your issues. Take a look at the video guide here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnkVapqhIHc
“This custom tool performs an automatic test to find missing CSS rules applied by user interaction. Moreover, you can manually interact with a chosen section/component from the page while the tool records all the involved CSS. It will generate the final CSS file for this page and also will split the rules in Critical CSS to be loaded in the website’s header.” ( https://tagdiv.com/whats-new-in-the-newspaper-theme-10-4-update/ )
We tested our tool on our demos, and we have such great results!
Take a look at this topic because it could help you: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/css-analyzer-step-by-step-and-doubts/

Hi
I think that you are referring to this https://i.imgur.com/SQks0pa.png that can be from those errors https://i.imgur.com/igS6QDe.png it is preventing the images to be load or it can not load them. Some times this problem can appear when you are using extra plugins that are in conflict with the theme or the server response is longer and the process is ended without loading the images.
Indeed I see that this problem is only sometimes, some maybe if you optimize better your website this problem can be solved.
You can try our guide from here https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ (step 2 is not available on Newsmag only on Newspaper).
I hope this will help you!
Hi,
Unfortunately, for the moment our theme is not working with this option from WP Rocket https://i.imgur.com/bA177gC.png also this plugin was not tested with our theme and I do not know if our suggestions will work or not since we do not have this plugin in our list. Maybe one solution will be to exclude some js files, but I do not know if this will work or not. We recomand to not use that option.
For the moment the only guides for pagespeed with tested plugins that we have are those:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/autoptimize-install-configuration/
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi muktipolice, unfortunately, I can not provide an answerer for this.
You need to make a request to our contact services and one of our developers will check your website and then it will be analyze what external resources you are using and what improvements can be done, and after that they will contact you and let know if this can be done or not.
Here on support the only way that we can help with the page speed it is to provide our speed guides:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/

Thank you for your understanding!
Hi jasaj, there are more cache plugins that can be use with our theme. Here are some guides that we have:
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/autoptimize-install-configuration/
Also for Cloudflare make sure that this is set like in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Also we have a small page speed guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
I hope this will help you!
Hi,
This can be if you are using small images.
Also another case can be from a compress plugin that helps to optimize the website. Please make a test using only the theme plugins and see if the problem is still persisting.
In case that the problem is still there, please provide a link to your website to check this situation.
Thank you!
