I’ve installed the AMP plugin and I know it opens a set of AMP Ad options on Theme Panel but they’re all fixed to a certain position.

Some of my posts have 6000 words, while others only 300. Obviously on the 6000 word pages I would want to show over 5 Ads while on the 300 word posts just one or maybe two Ads. Is there a way to insert the Adsense code on AMP pages manually like on posts? (On posts I go to the text editor and insert the Adsense code into Html). I prefer inserting ads manually because certain positions work better for revenue on my website, and filling up all the AMP Ad spots in theme panel would make 5 ads show on the 6000 word posts but on the 300 word post obviously 5 ads is not going to be good.

I’d like to show Google Adsense as article inline ads on desktop-devices but ads from our own adserver on mobile devices. I can see that there is a way to show different ads on different devices for other ads https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/ but can this also be combinated as described (Google on desktop, other on mobile)?

Hi there, I have just noticed that there is a jolt when I click on the logo or any other navigation link in the header of the website I am building. I can’t share a link since it’s still under construction. I went to your demo sites and notice the same issue with the transition.

Go to your default newspaper demo: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/, and click on “News8paper” logo or any other link on that page. Before the page refreshes or the content of a new page uploads, there is a shift of content grid. The transition is not smooth, which is what I would expect, but there is a disturbing jolt. Please let me know if this can be fixed! Otherwise, I will have to look for a theme with a better UX.

Greetings! Working through a conversion over to Newspaper and tagDiv. So far, I’m really liking it.

Question–besides AdSense, are there any other ad serving platforms or plugins that have been tested to work well with tagDiv/Newspaper? I want to sell/host my own ads and then backfill with AdSense. It doesn’t appear to be official support for DoubleClick/Google Ads. How about something else?

I am coming to you because I am currently experiencing three technical problems: ( sorry for my English I use DeepL)

1) My logo on the AMP pages is not displayed even though I saved it in the mobile logos. Moreover and it is strange when I move the mouse pointer to the place where should be the Amp Logo I can see that the URL of my site is displayed at the bottom left as shown in this image :

2) I tried to put a background Theme and the same thing in mobile version but it only appears on my browser where I am connected with my wordpress admin account. Indeed when I use another browser or a visitor goes to my site, the background theme is not displayed.

3) My last problem is that all my images are suddenly automatically left aligned and this even old images. I specify that this only affects my browser where I am logged in with my wordpress admin account and that just like concern number 2, visitors are not affected.

We are playing around with tagDiv composer for our site redesign and it is amazing. We are still learning new things everyday as we explore new ideas. The ability to be able to control how the site appears on each screen size at a granular level is brilliant.

Also really pleased with the new cloud template function. It addresses my biggest bugbear with Newspaper – the ability to adjust the overall width of the columns – but it’s allowing us to create some genuinely unique page designs rather than seeing different sites that look exactly the same as ours.

Couple of requests for future updates. Some may already have been mentioned, some may be bugs, some may not currently be on your radar, but hopefully it helps:

– can’t choose a sidebar from the main post composition screen if using a cloud template. We would like to be able to run sidebars that are customised for different article categories, but that’s not currently possible. We could create several near-identical page templates, each with a different sidebar, to address this but it seems clunky when everything else is so sleek.

– paginated articles don’t work. It doesn’t seem to recognise page breaks. We may be missing something but we really can’t get it to work.

– TD composer doesn’t have accordion/tab functionality. We’re currently scratching our heads to work out how we will replicate or replace this, as we currently run a lengthy glossary that uses an accordion to hide and display all the descriptions, and we can’t do this with TD composer.

– following on from the above, it would be great to have the ability to load anything into a row that only displays a certain height and then has a ‘load more’ pagination function, like the blocks do for posts. For example, we are using the testimonial features in quite a different way, but there will be potentially loads of them on a page so it would be good to only show a few with the rest hidden behind a ‘load more’ button. – we have been trialling closing off comments after X days. Using cloud templates, this causes a “Comments are closed” message to pop up at the top of the page under the menu. See here:

This doesn’t happen with the traditional Newspaper templates, which display the message in the correct place after the last comment.

– We’re currently having trouble with smart sidebars using inner rows, but this is probably our own fault rather than a bug.

– Newspaper (and Newsmag) lack behind other themes when it comes to presenting reviews. Given how slick the rest of the features are, this is something we’d really like to see developed in future editions. We’re also currently looking at plugins for incorporating user ratings, but not sure whether they’ll play happily with TD composer.

This is for post pages on MOBILE. I currently have a header ad, an inline ad at the top of each post, and a footer ad. I’d like to have another inline ad after a few paragraphs in each post. Is this possible?

I inserted google ads on my blogs and it works fine on the right panel in each blog. This was created from Appearance menu, Widgets by inserting the Custom HTML widget. I expected this to also work on some of my pages like Contact us and others – they also have the side panel. The header displays for the ad, but no ad (and it is the same code as for other google ads which are displaying).

When I try to share a post via the Facebook share button, the preview actually has teaser text for another post (my “About” page text). A View Source shows that <meta property=”og:description” content=”XX”> is set with the correct description text:

I’m trying to change the block color but did not have success.

I tried to change this block but could not change all elements.

Should I keep trying to change each element or there is some way to change everything at once?
