At least I know it’s not something specific to me. I read some other threads. Deleted TagDiv plugin, reinstalled, cleared the cache, but nothing changed.

There is only one inline article ad spot, this will apply to the whole website. All the posts will display it the same.
If more ads are required the easiest way would be to use a plugin. The AdRotate plugin is recommended by other theme users which desired more ad capabilities. Some info about it here

In a coming theme update there will be changes to how the post pages are created. The tagDiv composer will be integrated with the post templates. So besides the default article ads you could use additional ad boxes.

Has this been done before? I couldn’t find anything on the forum.
Basically, looking to have any given post page to show three or four posts, and then an ad that looks similar to a post, and then three or four more posts.
Otherwise, I will edit the loop to include an adsense ad every X amount of posts.

I’m using the options to put the ad’s newspaper theme (header ad, sidebar ad …)
But, I would like to put more ads during the article, however, I only have the option to put one (Inline Article Ad).
Is there another way or Plugin to recommend?
I don’t want the ads to be displayed on Home Page, But they are showing still. I have configured the Ads section in Theme Panel, removes Ads from Heard’s Box, Side Bax Box and Other Areas, But then too they are showing the same on the homepage.

The ads the theme will display are the ones that you enter in the Theme panel->Ads section

Since i use this Theme,The web site becomes very slow,and i don’t know how to optimize.
I use Google Page Speed,But it doesn’t work
1.You konw,In China,some foreign website can’t open such as google.com
So，I guess if is this reason.
2.On the other hand,If there are too many JS&CSS files to make the web site become solw?
3.And,I want to konw why there are so many pictures,I just want to show the only one picture.
4.The line of code is too long ?

自从用了这个主题之后，网站的打开速度非常慢….我不知道怎样才能加速
用Google Page Speed也检测不出来，我猜测的原因可能是这几个
1.网站中有些文件是调用国外的网站上的，而这些网站在中国被墙了，比如google.com所以才造成访问速度变慢（但我不知道是哪些网站）
2.网站上有很多的JS&CSS文件，是不是因为这些加载太慢了？
3.如图中的，一篇文章里面调用了同一张图片的不同大小，这样加载的图片数量是不是太多了，有没有办法优化？
4.是不是网站的代码太长了，我看这里已经有3286行代码了，这个能够减少吗？
上面这些都是我猜可能造成网站速度过慢的原因，这一块我也不是特别懂

There is an issue we have with one of our pages.
When it loads on mobile, it will not scroll. The page appears to load correctly, but from that point on, you can not scroll down through the items.

Not sure what is the cause of this, as all other pages seem to work fine on mobile. It is somewhat important, as this specific page is crucial to us, and upwards of 50% of our traffic to the site is on Mobile.
Any ideas?
Hi, another question from me 🙂 Before some time I noticed that google chrome dont show me my ads in side bar like on screen schot 1, but on mozila, I can see normaly this ads screen schoot 2. What the problem is?
I have a banner ad (728×90) and when i post it on my newspaper 8.0 theme the mobile version is cut off. We put the same banner ad on other wordpress themes and the mobile version adjusts for the size.
Does newspaper not have this capability?

I’ve added an Ad box in a column with a Sidebar ad in it, followed by Block 7 and another Ad box (with a Custom Ad). When I add 50px left and right padding to the first Ad box, all the other elements in that column also are padded. Is this a bug, and is there a way we can prevent it or work around it?
Originally, I had the two Ad boxes stacked one above the next, but I also suffered from the same problem then and couldn’t put any spacing between the two Ad boxes (it ignored the bottom and top padding of each Ad box) so it looked like the two ads were merged together. Basically, when I put the Ad box in a column any of the other elements in that same column seem to inherit some of it’s properties and be treated like another part of the Ad box.

After upgrading to version 4.3 I noticed that some Featured Images are loaded in full size at first load time (2-300KB each).
So that my website (otelders.org) loads in 12 seconds, 8.5MB of data.
It’s weird because only some Featured Images are loaded, not all of them, others are loaded as small thumbnails, as it should be…
Do you have any suggestions where to start?

Can you add native built-in support to the Newspaper theme so we can have multiple authors when needed on posts? This seems like a common need/use case based on other threads in this forum and elsewhere.

There are also other problems from what I can see, besides the search issue. The images are not displaying, the ajax filter on blocks when clicked leads to the top of the page, sign in/join does nothing etc.

This kind of javascript conflicts are usually caused by plugins, code entered in the theme panel, theme files, or child theme. You could check if that is the case. Take them one at a time and keep testing to see if the problem is solved.

Hello,
I have some questions regarding css features on Newspaper in my site (www.topensandoemviajar.com). Maybe you can help me:
1. When the homepage loads, it appears the the html is loading before css. Why?
2. The images on homepage appears to be low res when I use large screens.
3. Sometimes when I reload the site, a blank space appears between menu and big picture. I inspected the element and it shows like this:

I’ve checked and changed a lot of configs, and it’s not a problem with the auto-ads. It’s related to the ad type “in-article”. For some reason this type of ad doesn’t detect the correct size of the post space.
I removed the “auto-ads” from the <head></head> and inserted an ad “in-article” in the beginning, middle and end of the post and always happends the same.

However i have another website with Newspaper 8 with older version and in this didn’t happens never… It’s the same version how can be this possible? Newspaper 8 is prepared to use custom ads, i don’t see any reason to work properly with custom ads in homepage but not in posts… This is clearly a problem of the theme and lastest updates…

I have created a clone of my live website called “beta” so I can update there the theme to version 8.7.4 (live website is still at version 8.0).
The problem is that, while the beta website is loading, the header elements seems to read some other CSS and, after a couple of seconds, reads the appropriate CSS.
However, during these seconds, the header seems ugly and it is the first impression a user gets.
This is something that doen’t happens to live version.

This code allow me to use random pics that i use so in that way i can use local ads. If you go to the home http://www.weekenjoy.com the web loads heavy but loads… however if you want inside a post, the web never loads and it freeze the window. I tried to use another light image but that is not the problem, even if i use the script without images the posts freeze completely… Please, how can i use this script in my entire web without problems.
