Hello !
The tagDiv Composer is a PAGE builder. All the posts and their options come from wordpress. By going in the way you pointed – Posts – Add New is correct. You make your own post. You can publish it if you want and after that you can go visit your post. If you have applied a cloud template on that post you will be able to see the Edit Template button, wich for you, it means that your post is VISUALY editable using the tagDiv Composer: https://www.screencast.com/t/tsfVWD6uB2N1 ; https://www.screencast.com/t/R8rjQpUZ
Even after publishing your post or page you can simply come back to it and make changes.
I hope this was helpfull !
Thank you !
Hello !
That can be achieved using a Single post template from the Cloud Library (follow the tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/ )
After you have imported the template edit the template and add a background to it: https://www.screencast.com/t/ZZMKqnlPK5
Thank you !
Hello !
You can have Next / Back Buttons only on smartlists.
That is possible when having a Single Post template from the Cloud Library as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/CO4LWTcimW
Follow this tutorial to learn how to use the Single Post Template: https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
You will have to make some modifications. First of all add this css code into your Theme Panel – Custom Codes – CSS: https://www.screencast.com/t/vxXrGBIV
.td-post-next-prev-content { align-items: center; border-radius: 40px; text-align: center; display: inline-block; margin-bottom: 40px; width: 50%; height: 50px; background-color: black; } .td-post-next-prev-content a { text-align: center; margin-top:15px; margin-bottom:5px; color: white; } .td-block-span6 { text-align: center; width: 350px; }
And you will have to make some modifications in PHP too following this path: legacy/common/wp_booster/td_module_single_base.php ( I have used Notepad++ to edit it )
and change the codes at the line: 929 ; 930 and 940 ; 941 like in here: https://www.screencast.com/t/AEgFOTDC
Thank you !
Hi,
Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
Also if you are using cloud template from tagDiv Cloud Library, you’ll need to edit them using the tagDiv Composer, the theme panel settings will apply only on defaults theme templates.
Thank you!
Hello,
I contact you because I have had a problem for several hours, I can create many templates and modify them except that I have a problem when I want to modify the template uploaded in the cloud templates “Single Post Template 47 – Travel PRO”.
I can modify the template except that when I want to save it after registration I get the message “The current content hasn’t been created by TagDiv Composer! and I can’t do almost anything on the page anymore.
I only have the problem with this template.
The Template works it displays correctly on this page lebaladin.fr/partir-a-paris-grace-a-une-vente-privee/ but I would like to make some changes. I have already been able to look on the forum, unfortunately I have the right settings on my server. Knowing that I could edit the page and that when I came back to the page I got the message that made me want to edit the page.
Thanks,
Hi,
Please provide some more details about the footer template that you are using, this is a default style or a footer page -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
Unfortunately we didn’t tested the ad inserter plugin with our theme, therefore we can not say for sure if this will work correctly with our theme or not, sorry!! Also, we cannot provide support for untested plugins -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/ , for this you’ll need custom work.
This is our list with tested plugins with our theme -> https://www.screencast.com/t/cmPkh9jba4sZ
Thank you!
I’m currently in the process of trying to turn on AMP while still having my pages displayed nicely on mobile. I’m quite confused with it all because from what I’ve found there’s 4 different places to “switch on” AMP.
1. In the Theme Panel –> mobile theme there’s 3 options for mobile, mobile + AMP, and AMP
2. In pages there’s options on the sidebar to enable/disable both AMP and mobile theme
3. In individual posts there’s the same options as the pages
4. When clicking on the AMP plugin on the left hand sidebar there’s also the options to turn on and off the supported templates.
What’s the difference between mobile theme vs AMP theme? I’m assuming AMP is simply a faster version of mobile theme, but I haven’t been able to see any differences visually.
Also I’m confused why point 1. above has an option “mobile + AMP”.
I’m also assuming that to have AMP working correctly I should enable it on all four options above. From the right hand sidebar in pages and posts, do I need to switch on/off the mobile template? Or does that not matter if I have my mobile theme set to “AMP” only vs “AMP + mobile”?
Thanks
Hello !
You can use the tagDiv Composer to create your category page and custom header from the Cloud library. After creating your page you will save it and then assign it to your cateories. In the header you can add the AdBox element and create the ads as you wish. Please follow this tutorials in order to create the category page and header from cloud library: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/ ; https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-manager/
I hope this is helpfull !
Thank you !
Hi,
I do not quite understand, if you are referring to the page title, then you should use the Page Builder + Page Title page style -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/ -> http://prntscr.com/p0lr7w -> results -> http://prntscr.com/p0lrgl
If this is not what you mean, please provide some more details and some screenshots.
Thank you!
so this is giving me when i`m trying to load from template the loop one
when i click on activate here is showing me: Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.
Hello! I have downloaded and installed a number of cloud templates (very cool!), and am now doing some editing to add and remove elements.
I am trying to add a shortcode at the bottom of the post. I have gone through the steps of adding a row (if needed), a column text element, and the shortcode in the column text element. But, when I close the editing window, everything I added disappears.
Is there some sort of lock on the templates? Is there an overriding element that covers the page (there seems to be) which blocks adding elements?
The particular one I’m working on is single post template 35 (according to the URL).
Hi. I’m trying to use block elements to separate Amazon products into sections on pages/posts. For example, use hr elements to separate rows of products contained in brackets (See example below). I tried adding CSS in Theme options hr { display:block; } and inline css on pages but nothing seems to work. The block elements work in other themes.
Example Amazon product code:
[amazon_link asins=’B07RNYMFY7′ template=’ProductAd’ store=’hdrep-20′ marketplace=’US’ link_id=’c9730ffd-69ea-4b59-b6a6-5d083a9d9163′]
See pick below:
Hello,
I’d like to add a custom ad block to all the category pages ideally at the right of the category title or on top of the category title in case tricky layout
After a long look i see the only option to add custom ads to category pages it’s through the sidebar, right?
Is there any workaround to place a particular ad only on category pages at the top of the category title?
Here you have a link to one of those categories
http://newstill.cavemanagement.com/snow-training/
Thanks in advance
I searched but could not find a solution. How can I save my page as a template to be used on another page?
Hello
We need to know How does the module of post with the titles in front of the image in the category page edit?

Also how can we Remove the newsletter bar from the categories page?
Is there any way we can make new template of this? With pagination based on the module above the newsletter bar?

Thanks in advance
How to solve? I installed the Newspaper Tech News Pro theme and the homepage does not show the content.
“Error in rows: 8 (templates): 1 (gift). Template does not match content The current state was involved in a problem. You can try a UNDO operation (CTRL + Z / CTRL + SHIFT + Z)”
There is not a single hook defined in that file. I can neither find “do_action” or “apply_filters”.
I can see that you filter a few things on that page, but that does not give us a way in.
From what I am seeing, Newspaper templates completely replace the pages’ template and the content defined in that template does not run “the_content”. I would need to know if there are filters that could be used to manipulate individual text parts in the template.
Hi,
Installation template = ok.
Loading data the model “Animal News” = ok
Changing the Home Page = a problem.
My problem :
On the Home page, at the end, there are two blocks: “LATEST ARTICLES” and “RECENT POSTS”.
In TD Composer, I don’t see these blocks.
I don’t see also the block “POPULAR CATEGORIES”. I can’t edit or delete it.
How can I modify or delete these three blocks?

Hi,
That theme panel font style is not apply because you have set on that post a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library; for this you’ll need to edit the single post template using tagDiv Composer -> https://www.screencast.com/t/qTPsGPBSSFf -> https://www.screencast.com/t/jKhsJEETS2 -> https://www.screencast.com/t/epm5Kew3
Thank you!
Hi,
I’ve made some investigation regarding this problem and is look that when you save some page or template using tagDiv Composer this option is reset.
This problem is on our list to be fix for the coming update.
Thank you for your understanding and sorry for the inconvenience!
Hello !
In order to make the site full width you have to select every row of your page using the tagDiv Composer and then set the stretch mode you want like here : https://www.screencast.com/t/BkWwdHh6
In order to make the post page full width you will have to add a single post template and then edit it. Check more about how to have single post template here: https://tagdiv.com/customize-articles-with-single-post-templates/ And for the header you can do it here: https://www.screencast.com/t/xf56tQN0.
These are the ways you can increase your page width from theme options. Anything above this will require custom code.
Let me know if this helped you !
Also please note that the badges are custom work created by our developers.
Thank you !
Hi
I’ve taken on job updating an existing WP ‘magazine’ site with five years of existing posts, and decided to use the Newspaper theme to update the site.
I’ve created cloud templates to use for posts as there are several different areas in the site and I wish for them to look different.
Unfortunately I’ve discovered neither the Co-Authors or Guest Authors plugins appear to work anymore. The posts’ authorships default to a user admin when viewed on a category page. I’ve already scoured through the forums here, and it seems to be a flaw in the theme design where these PIs are incompatible with cloud-based templates.
There are literally thousands of posts with author names attributed to Guest Authors, as opposed to Users. To remove a guest author from a post, and replace with a User would have to be done manually on each individual post.
It seems very odd that a ‘Newspaper’ theme can not handle these plugins, or offer any solutions to this problem.
What would the TagDiv developers recommend I do?
Cheers
Rob
Hi,
Thanks for the prompt reply!
May be its not possible to override those templates because I didnt see any reference in your documentation
so please leave that for now as I did it via creating new page template
BUT
according to your documentation –
I should be able to override file wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/header/logo-h1.php
in child theme by making following
Newspaper-child\parts\header\logo-mobile-h1.php
BUT even this is not working
so defintiely something wrong with the theme
SO PLEASE HELP
Actually, it’s even worse. When I link to the page above, it redirects to the template.
Help!
