Hi, I’m a beginner and struggling to edit mobile view.
Right now, my blog’s mobile view is showing the custom mobile theme and want to show the same view as the desktop (The block setting shown on the desktop view is not shown on the mobile view). The same view is shown for all devices when previewing on the TD composer.
Also, in each category page on mobile view, there are tags (or small menu?) shown below the category title such as “Beauty”. How and where can I remove these tags?
I’m using only the Newspaper theme and have not downloaded any plugins for mobile theme.

Hi catalin, i am using auto ads throughout my site and i don’t think i am using double click ads. On header, sidebar,top,mid,bottom of the post are the ad codes placed.
I did some research and found that on the posts where i used “smart lists” the ads don’t appear in top, mid and bottom of post. If i don’t use smart list, the ads appear fine.

It is very difficult for me to write and explain but i am still trying to explain here. I do not know how to explain it, but you try to understand very carefully because this operation is important for me.

Now with above theme CONTENT LENGTH is 38 words with justify text. But some paragraph looks small and some big so this looks bad.

Now with above screenshot CONTENT LENGTH is 300 words with justify text and all paragraph looks same size. Even i put 38 words or 300 words, paragraph will look all same size because the box height 70px is already set, so extra words will hide and looks niche.

Now it is necessary to do above excerpt settings also in Newspaper theme. You have to help me by doing this in any way because newspaper theme is new for me and need some hints from wonderful people like you. I’ll do the editing myself, you just show me the steps.
Keep one thing in mind, i am using Child-Theme and if something goes wrong then i am responsible for it so i will not blame on you.
I already have full site backup including database, so do not worry.

Hi guys – we’ve come across a unique scenario. Mostly we just let the theme and Yoast play nicely for sharing and it works ok.
However we are using Yoasts ability to over-ride specific social settings for a small number of posts. However as the theme is automatically adding the featured image as the first OG:IMAGE tag in the head it’s causing FB to get confused!).
Let me try to explain.

However we have set a slightly different image for our social share details in the Yoast options on the page: http://take.ms/7zLDs
When we look at the source of the page we see the featured image as the first OG:IMAGE and the yoast info further down: http://take.ms/A8YK7

How do we tackle this? Shouldn’t the theme defer to how Yoast wants to handle the open graph tags?

– Those issues could be caused by insufficient resources, the theme has some requirements. If there aren’t sufficient resources for example, there could be problems

It is very important that everything is set as mentioned in the guide, WP memory can be set higher if possible. Usually the hoisting provider can take care of the modifications where needed.
– The Revolution slider is a demanding plugin, the cause for it not appearing could be related. Once it is placed in a page and the page is saved and viewed, the slider should appear (it will not load in the page edit screen)

– For previewing posts on difference view ports there would be no tool at the moment. Pages can be previewed in the composer, but posts don’t have such an option.

– AMP posts will be served by Google only, they are accessible through Google search. If the user does not visit the website from there, the mobile theme variant will be displayed if active. So they can be both active at the same time mobile theme and AMP.

I finally managed in getting an extra custom field in the meta data of blocks.
I also recently updated to the most recent version of tagdiv and theme in general.
Suddenly there is a bit of code added everywhere to the end of my authors in the metadata.
Right after the author the websites injects this: <span>-</span>, resulting in a dash everywhere added at the end of the author. Also a margin is added to this which I really did not add myself.
Any thoughts where I can find this extra bit of code and how to remove it ?
It seems to happen only in the flex block 1.
Also, since we are mainly a reviewers site we would like to display nicknames on some occasions instead of the real names.
For instance, author “Jan van den Bulck” takes up a lot of space, pusing other meta data onto another rule, we would like to use the nickname (jvdb) instead.
Again this is not needed everywhere but on some occasions, both issues can be seen in the example link below.

Unfortunately, our Review System is included in our theme and we do not have any other plugin with this functionality, sorry! You can try using such a plugin but we cannot say for sure if it will work or not as properly with the theme, sorry!

We are having some problems with the mobile view.
We’ve built the home page with the TagDiv Composer plugin (re-installed from the latest patch 9.0.1), the mobile preview is ok, but when compiling and load the real page it shows an error, and if we clear the code, just appear the latests posts bundle. It doesn’t happen in category format pages, just in main pages.

Hi, i use the default demo layout, and with td_composer i organaized the home page block using the block 15 style. If i put a medium size picture i see good on the preview of the article but after when i read the article (i use the post template style 6) the image is blurred, i need to have in focus image in the preview and in the post, how i can do it? there’s a way to choose 2 different size image? or there are a resolution to adopt? thanks
Hi there, I just bought your Newspaper theme. I have a old site and I am testing your theme on localhost before I go live with it. Here are a few issues I am facing. Kindly help me resolve them.
When I press the Save button in Tag Div composer, it keeps showing the loading sign perpetually. Some features are saved and some aren’t.
The Revolution Slider is not working in Tag Div. I paste the alias but the slider doesn’t show.
There is Editor Picks, Popular Posts and Popular categories in my Footer. I don’t know where it is coming from. I have emptied Footer 1,2 and 3 in widgets but these lists don’t go away.
I want to know whether there is a way to use different headers and color schemes on different pages.
I also want to know whether I can preview how my posts will look on mobile screen. Also, which of AMP and Mobile Theme is active on my site as it shows both in theme panel.

I just updated to 9.0 and as usual I changed my theme temporarily in order to delete the old Newspaper theme. I installed 9.0 and every page has been updated except the home page which is still on the old theme. In preview the homepage is normal (from Newspaper) but on the front end it is still from a different theme.
Is this a common issue? Any fix?

Hi,
I don’t quite understand what you mean exactly. That “Must read” looks like a block, which would be in no relation to the reviews, except being in the same sidebar from what I can see.
If it displays “No posts” then I suggest that you check it’s filtering and sorting settings, it might have no posts to display due to incorrect settings.

But, after adding single smartlist block, the paragraph become one (it should be 3 paragraph actually), I use review template 3.

1)It seems to be a mini bug regarding More Article Box elements for Post Templates. We have added to our list of improvements and we hope to fix it as soon as possible. 2)I have checked the Review functionality and it seems to works as expected. You should provide your website URL and some useful screens with the error for more investigations.

Hi… I currently used Newspaper 9 dan Tagdiv Cloud library,
1). I use single post template 14 for my post view. But, some post with Smart list not work (it’s look like usual article) and More Article Box disapper after changing my template.
2). I also use Review Template 3, but lost my rich snippet on Google page. Before I use article template, my review rich snippet displayed no Google search, but not today after changing to Review template 3.
It’s looks like post template from Tagdiv Cloud not work well with usual settings on theme panel.
