I suppose that you have some trouble with theme saving. Please notice that this is an older issue which the latest version of WordPress (4.5.2) caused to Wordfence plugin.

In my 7.0.1 Newspaper system status I have got this message:
Speed Booster v4.4 – Disabled – incompatible plugin detected: all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall/wp-security.php
Is there a way I can enable Speed Booster with using the wp-security plugin?
And which security/firewall plugin do you recommend which is compatible with this theme?

Hi,
This issue is related to your page loading speed and/or the speedbooster plugin. If you use speedbooster or another tool to move render blocking to footer as google page speed suggests, it will also move style.css to footer and this is the effect of that. The style will apply after all elements are loaded. If you know your way around coding, you can remove style.css from the speed-booster files to prevent this happening.
If you do not use speedbooster, please increase your site-s loading times by following this guide:https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ and also make sure you have all system status parameters set properly so you do not run out of memory: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/

The theme is tested and works fine if the parameters from system status have the values indicated in our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ There are also other things which may slow down your wp-admin. If you have lots of plugins active they will request additional resources so they may slow don the site. Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches, purge cdn files if you’re using then test again.

First of all, please check your system status and please make sure if your parameters are increased to the higher values, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ So, please ensure that you have the latest version of the theme (Newspaper 7.0.1) and also, your plugins are updated to the latest version of them. Also, please try to use only the plugin that comes bundled with our theme to rule out the conflicting plugins which could appear in this process.

Have you tried adding the css to speedbooster? (section 5.2) and to make sure your speedbooster is not deactivated due to a plugin? you can see the speedbooster status in the system status screen: http://screencast.com/t/gzu8dgoZe8 it should say it’s active.

Hi, the theme works fine, but i would need to improve performance. On Newspaper system status i see two problems:
“Speed Booster v4.4 – Disabled – incompatible plugin detected: woocommerce-mercadopago/woocommerce-mercadopago.php”
“Caching plugin No caching plugin detected – for best performance we recommend using WP Super Cache”
I´m running the last wordpress version on multisite mode with supercache plugin enabled to network. I dont know why Newspaper dont detect it. Also, what change i must to do on woocommerce-mercadopago.php to solve incompatibility.

the background color for the entire body can be changed but it requires a bit of customization. The easiest way to do it is to simply install the black version demo (without content) so the style of the demo will be installed on your site. Unfortunately this error could come from a big number of problems. I believe it happens due to a server configuration which is not responding, it could be due to a delay or it could also be a temporary issue so you can try this a few times and if you still get this error please contact your host provider and let him know about this, ask them to unblock our demo in order to retrieve the theme data. It could also happen due to your wp install or other plugins might also cause this. Also make sure that your permission for the upload folder are set correct. You can check this by trying to upload an image in media library. If the process succeeds then the permission are ok. If not you can use the c-panel to change permissions (set them to 777) or if you do not have access to the cpanel, please contact your hosting provider.
