Ignore the plugin update warnings. You will get the latest version of Visual Composer in the next theme update.
I am confused. Are the demo sites built with tagdiv?
If I install a demo site today, are you saying that I have to convert it immediately? Would it not be easier for you to redo the demo sites in tagdiv and just push it out to us?
The main reason I bought the theme was sothat I didn’t have to mess around..
In the plugins section, it says there is an update :
—
There is a new version of WPBakery Page Builder available. View version 5.4.5 details
—
The documentation says I need to have you push the update to me….. is this where I make the request for the update?
Thank you
Hi,
I suppose that you are referring to the appearance of a flash/time loading when you enter on your website, right? This behavior appears when you have additional customization through custom CSS code. Please notice that the CSS is working in cascade and the first time will take the code from style.css that is set it by default and then the theme will take the custom code that you have changed from Theme panel and practically this flash is generated by this cause. As a workaround, you have to check your style.css and try to add directly to this file your desired custom code. So, if your problem is still there, please try to revert the theme to the default settings, without any customizations and let us know how it goes. Also, you can try to make a new fresh install from scratch with the latest version of the theme and check the results. Also, please make sure every time you cleared caches. Noticed that the only files where you will have to edit are style.css. Also, please update the theme to the latest version of it.
If you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
UPDATE: 1) solved after removing the Jetpack Plugin. The issue 2) continues to exist. :-/
1) Posts settings don’t work
Whenever I make any change in the Theme Panel, the progress spinner takes forever to apply the changes. I have to refresh the tab to view the changes. Despite choosing default Post Template, I can’t make changes whenever creating a new post. Also Feature Image option appears partially with no option to add photos. In short, can’t create new posts or new pages easily.
2) Whenever I try to preview a test post, the “Edit Live CSS” box appears with no option to shut it.

Please guide me how do I solve this issue. I’ve already clean installed WP 4.9 and freshly activated Newspaper theme on it.
I will be very grateful for the help. I attached a video: vimeo.com/244801649 on it you can see that when you update the site, the content makes a jump. Website: https://cryptochain.news Can you please tell me how to fix this?
Hi,
Unfortunately there is no setting to add more socials in the counter, at the moment. More socials will be added in future theme updates. You could maybe try other solutions, like social plugins that would give the option to add a LinkedIn button. You could try something like this maybe

Hi,
The theme can be updated using this guide (by FTP is the most recommended method)
The main theme update will not be affected by the child theme. If you have customization in the child theme please note that they may require modifications sometimes. Files and elements from the main theme can change after updates, your customization may need adaptation.
A good practice is to have a local testing environment similar to the live website, where you can test to see if everything works properly.
Thanks
Hello harish.bhathee,
First of all, I will thank you for your interests in our theme and for your appreciations! Before I answer your questions, let’s clarify what exactly is Child Theme and how it will be used on WordPress platform. For this, you should read this document here -> https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes
1,2)The theme can be updated in the same way if you will use the child theme, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
3)The dummy data can be imported in the same way if you will use the child theme. Read here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/ Also, for more information about our Child Theme, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
Hope this helps!
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
2. Those are post templates, they can only be set for posts. Pages can be built with the tagDiv composer, you can use any of the available elements. They do not have similar predefined templates like posts. Pages have these templates
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
You could recreate that post template design in a page if that is what you want. Like this for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/kPWXhtLn
This is a guide about using the tagDiv composer
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
In the coming update the tagDiv composer will receive many more elements and features. Please let us know if you need further help, or you have more questions.
Thanks
Is there a way that I can update the posts that are displayed to show the new blog posts as they are added? Thanks

script adsense ads BantenNews.co.id not showing.
I have updated to Newsmag version 4.2, but I can not put the script in the ads column automatically provided on the theme. Every scripting is always missing after hitting the save button.
Currently installation of adsense script can only be done manually
Hello,
We cannot include the latest version as soon as wpbakery releases it. You get the notice the same time we do. We need to test the new update, include it into the theme and release a new theme update that provides the new vc update. Please be patient for the latest version of VC.
Please post additional questions in separate topics.
Thank you!
Hi,
At the moment a particular button element is not available in the tagDiv composer. Buttons will be added in the coming theme update, along many other features.
You could create a button in a text element if you wish so, by selecting the text and making it a button, add a link if necessary as well

Today i changed the post template style and followed the instructions to add last updated date that was mentioned in one of the posts. To my surprise i saw all the post date shows Last updated November 15 2017. If i edit any post and update the content, it shows today’s date. However any old post is showing Last updated was on 15th November. i don’t know why is it showing that date only.
That means the post that i published 2 years ago is showing last update 15 Nov 2017. How do we fix this ?.
Hi,
Thank you for your interest in the theme. The posts and media files you have will not be lost by switching the theme. As always make a full backup before beginning
– https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups
I found this useful guide that you can check as well
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/checklist-15-things-you-must-do-before-changing-wordpress-themes/
Then install the theme using these guides
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/
By FTP is the recommended method in this matter. You can also install a demo if you wish
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/demos_introduction/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
View all the available demos live here
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/select_demo/select_demo_newspaper
Then start customizing the theme options as you wish. The TagDiv composer can be used to edit/create pages
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
It is recommended to use the tagDiv composer, because in the coming update we will add a considerable amount of options for this composer especially.
Thanks

Hi,
The default playlist element does not have such advanced options that you require. Try multiple playlist plugins which have these capabilities if there are any. There could be plugins that will allow you to enter playlist URL’s and synchronize the videos on the website when the source playlist is updated.
If the plugin has a shortcode you could place in on pages, by entering it in text elements and check the results. This could be a solution.
Thanks
Hello,
In this case please use the ftp method mentioned in this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thank you!
Hello Bogdan,
it’s <div class=”td-paragraph-padding-5″>
However I already applied this to some posts manually. Wouldn’t mass updating cause issues with already updated posts?
Thank you.
Hello,
This is not a theme related issue if you cannot save settings in the theme panel. It is a server configuration or security plugin on your end. No theme update can fix that. Please check your htaccess, security plugins, host optimization tools, etc.
Thank you!
Hi,
@riealeksandra More layouts will be available in coming theme updates, so a layout like you mention could be available as well using the tagDiv composer. This page editor will have a considerable amount of options added to it, beginning as soon as with the future theme update.
Thanks
