Sorry but that is not possible with our theme. We have many requests in this regard but we have not found a viable way of adding infinite scroll to our theme yet. It is on our list for future updates and will become available when we find a solution that is practical and viable. Unfortunately I cannot offer a precise estimation to when this will happen.

Unfortunately from a very old version like newspaper 4, you will have to re-create the pages, widgets and settings as there were too many changes between versions for the update to go seamlessly. Newspaper 8 compared to NP4 is like a whole new theme.

Please note that the theme has to be updated along with WordPress and plugins. Old versions can have security breaches and these can be exploited by different tools.

Please make sure you update your theme, plugins, and WordPress and do not stick to old versions.

Please update your theme to the latest version and update the mobile theme plugin as well by disabling and deleting your current mobile theme plugin and then installing it again from the package you download from envato.
If the problem is still there after the reinstall/update, please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

First of all, please make sure that you are using the latest theme version and ensure that your theme updated was made via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case. If the problem is still there, please try to make a new clean install from scratch and check the message!

Please try google page speed and gtmetrix and see the results.
Also try to disable all plugins except the page builder and clear all caching. There could have been an automatic plugin update and it became incompatible with the current version of the theme. This is a string reason not to use automatic updates.

Yes indeed the customization seems to break the pagination in the current version. This is the case with customization as it can break on an update. Code gets changed.
Sorry but for the moment there is no option to change offset of the posts.
