Hello,
There is shortcode showing up on my homepage. http://thenakedsite.com/ I have been through the forum and tried a bunch of fixes. I have updated the theme and all plugins. I had the original version 4 but have removed this one and updated and re-installed the newest theme version fresh. The site is brand new. It looks like some old shortcode is there maybe? But I have no option in the theme’s welcome page to run the update script and not sure why I would have to as I uploaded a fresh updated theme copy.

Already updated the theme, but I still can get it to work, images are still not showing (as you can see here: http://mxargentina.com/category/media/fotos/), so I assume the issue won’t be solved this way. I’m going back to a db backup to see if I can at least get the format back working.
All plugins are updated, any clues?

I’ve already tried deactivating the plugin and clearing the cache. I wanted to be sure it could be a compatibility issue before trying to update the template, so I’ll tried that and let you know. Thanks for the quick reply. Much appreciated.

I would suggest to deactivate all the plugins except Visual composer, clear cache and purge cnd files to see if the problem is still there. It could be a compatibility issue since it is an old version of the theme with some of your plugins so it would be recommended to update your theme to the latest version, because the theme has improved much over time. We have updated the Newsmag theme files on our staging site before going live. We have noticed that the padding / spacing in the body is off now, as well as the navigation is behaving strangely.

1 – I uninstalled WP Super Cache
2 – I uninstalled the Mobile Theme
3 – I installed and configured WP Super Cache
4 – I updated the theme to 7.7
5 – I installed and activated the mobile theme.

There is no need to activate Visual composer because it is pre-activated from the start, just ignore the activation messages – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ Updates for all the theme’s plugins including Visual composer are provided along with the theme update. When a new version is available, just download the full theme package from themeforest – https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/ then deactivate and delete the Visual composer plugin from theme panel and install the new one from the package. Your pages created with visual composer will still be there. But in case something goes wrong it is always recommended to have a backup – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
The theme has a responsive design so it adapts to different device sizes. If the mobile theme is not activated then the same content of the desktop will be displayed on mobile. When you activate the mobile theme it will display a predefined layout on the homepage, with a top grid and latest articles and you can add content through the mobile editor. Just jumping into this conversation as I was looking for help on this exact topic. Two further questions:
1. Can you replace “td-all-devices” with the code for specific devices? Assume you can, but worth asking.
2. Is there any way to report on the clicks from this image ie. to show an advertiser how many times someone clicked on the image?
FYI it would be useful to update the documentation to specify how you include the ad link with custom images. On this page https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/ it only shows how to add a custom image, not how to also include the link. Who wants an image without a link..??!

These are the currently available font settings in the theme – https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/ and at the moment the theme does not have an option to disable google fonts but it could be taken in account in a future update. A possible workaround would be to use the solution provided in this topic – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/do-i-really-need-to-change-all-the-text-fields-for-fonts/

Have any of you noticed this weird thing happening with the latest update of WordPress and NewsPaper theme? Let me explain.
So suppose, I write a post and save it. Now while finalizing the text, when I cut a sentence from one place and place it at another place in the content body. It creates a duplicate copy of it. Means, I get the same text two times under the post, One at the old location and another at the new location even when I had cut-paste it, not copy- paste.
If not taken proper care before clicking publish, we get the same sentence multiple times.
Please help me resolve this issue if you are able to comprehend my issue and have faced the same thing.

You can try to disable all your plugins except Visual composer, clear your cache and check again. However you should consider updating to the latest version of the theme and it’s plugins, even if it proves to be difficult as I see you have a lot of customization that you will have to check for compatibility, because some modifications may not work with the latest update.

I installed it with the Visual Composer plugin theme folder. It is said that there is no need to activate it. But in the editor there is no option for how the page looks in mobile view. When you preview the pc image comes up. How do I edit with mobile, tablet, display? There is no editing option for live preview. There was such an option in Visual I used before.

When we uninstall the add-ons, the themes we saved our pages, will the settings be lost? Will we come back when we reinstall?
