I’ve recently updated to the new version 7.3, but some options in the Theme panel don’t work now.

I’ve updated to the new version by replacing the old wp-content/themes/Newspaper folder with the new Newspaper fodler from zip, as explained here, method A: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

on header of my site page, I do not think the option to update the address of the social networks. I can only change the address of the social networking site page footer on the way newspaper/theme panel. In the header for example the address of the facebook is like this: http://mobilidadesampa.com.br/mobilidadesampa and footer is https://www.facebook.com/mobilidadesampa/
Try resaving your permalinks. Turn off any settings in Yoast SEO that remove slug words. Clear any caching. Make sure you have backup of your site dbase before doing anything else!!
Keep backups of older versions of theme/site before updating so you can ‘go back’ when possible.
Theme has nothing to do with “links” or post names/slugs; that’s a WordPress / dbase issue and usually caused by
1) settings in yoast to change link behavior
2) some kind of redirect plugin gone bad or htaccess rule setup to do regex type redirects
3) some old plugin not compatible with new version of WordPress or PHP used on your server
4) site not updated properly (e.g., when updating theme you also MUST update the included plugins!)
I don’t work here; just some advice.
I think it usually states latest version on Themeforest ..

I came to update to wordpress 4.5.3 and Newspaper 7.3 (the latest version), now when I want to publish a new post or edit an older one, the post get auto-renamed to “ACCUEIL”. When will we can expect a new update because 7.3 have lot of mobile theme bugs + will your mobile themes support AMP ?

Is it possible that you add an “Anti-Adblocker” feature in your future update. I have been trying to find a decent anti-adblocker and I can’t find one. I think it would be great if you can add this feature to the theme, not only will make the theme more awesome, it will also support many bloggers who are using your theme.

Hello, I’m using WordPress Version 4.5.3 and recently update my theme to Newspaper V 7.3. I noticed a couple issue am hoping you can help me resolve.
First, with the “Homepage post” Element the Youtube video playlist doesn’t work, it completely takes out my homepage.
Secondly, I have Buddypress 2.6.2 running; with the update to v7.3, i cant seem to be able to get my Activity page default to “Update”. It now always defaulting to “Everything”. Can you please have this tested?

You don’t need a license just ignore the warning the license is included within the theme and you will get updates for that plugin when the theme is updated.
Hi, anyone can help me regarding to visual composer which ask about activation. Recently, I have problem with my visual composer then a staff in this forum ask me to update with the new one. So, I updated it and everything worked fine. However, the plugin ask to activate the license now.
is there an option in the Newspaper theme to show the Modified or Updated date beside the published date in every post?
Example format:
Published: Aug 13, 2016 9AM
Modified Date: Aug 14, 2016 8PM

I recently moved our site over to the Newspaper 7 theme (not from a previous Tag Div theme) and both Visual Composer and Newspaper 7 are updated to their latest versions and so is WordPress.
Our home page (static front page selected via the customizer) is a no-sidebar full width page template (Page Attribute: Default, Sidebar position: no-sidebar template selected). We use Google DFP for delivering our header advert and the header advert works perfectly on our home page and all posts that have a sidebar layout post template.
For some reason though, except for the front/home page, all newly created and existing pages or posts that use a no-sidebar full width layout the header ad does not appear with the Newspaper 7 theme. Even if I set up a new page with all settings exactly the same as our home page, the header ad still does not appear on the new page but it does appear on our home page.
In the Theme Panel, under Template Settings – Page Template: the CUSTOM SIDEBAR + POSITION is set to no-sidebar but I have tried every possible combination of theme panel default vs page attribute setting vs sidebar position setting but can never get the header ad to show on any no-sidebar page template or post template except for the Home page. The header ad only seems to work on pages and posts when a sidebar template is selected.
Could you please urgently assist with this as obviously it limits our layout options quite a bit if we cannot get the header advert to show on any no-sidebar pages or posts except for the home page.

After the latest update my menu only works on the desktop. When you shrink the window on deskstop it shows you how it should work. Ie The mobile logo in the center that takes you back to the homepage and the menu grid logo on the left side that opens out to menu items.
Not sure if you can see this screen shot.
I have tried everything on my settings, nothing changes the problem

I also saw another problem regarding your social counter. Please update it as newspaper 7 requires the latest version of the social counter. Disable and delete files from the plugins section and install the social counter again from the newspaper 7 theme package. Also, your visual composer version is 4.11 which can be problematic. OK, so I did update VC to latest 4.12 version and I finally upgraded theme to 7 (7.3). We do have child theme.
I can’t get VC columns to work for some reason, they all show as one column. All caches have been cleared, tried disabling all caching, and still nothing.

I updated and tried the Mobile theme which is awesome. Only real problem I am having right now is my adsense is full page width.
I copied and pasted the exact same code I use on the regular theme, which has always been responsive.

Unfortunately there was a flawed update released that broke the mobile theme. We are sorry for the inconvenience. The correct theme version was re-uploaded so please update your theme again. The version of the theme is still 7.3 but the fix for the mobile theme is implemented.
The author will need a bit of a css fix so until the next theme version please use this CSS code in the mobile theme’s custom code box:
.td-post-author-name div { display:inline; }

I dont think so.
When I put the widgets on top (change the sidebar widgets order), one by one, they are all working. But then number 5 still is not shown.
Also it worked fine until last update of your theme.

We have a sidebar, build in wordpress, shown on frontpage and article-pages.
Suddently, we are not seeing all widgets anymore, only the first 4 – then a large gap – and then 1 more.
We cant seem to find any reason why the widgets suddently disappeared. Only the latest update of the theme could be relevant as problem?
