The bundled version is updated when the theme is updated.
You can ignore the nag to update. You can’t update the VC plugin separate from the theme.

Hi, my wordpress platform calls me update the WPBakery Visual Composer plugin, but when under full topic see plugins and have an older version, as I download the latest?

the popular WP-Optimize plugin has a security vulnerability which was patched today (3/1/8/15). You should upgrade/update immediately.
Also, for those who didn’t update their Yoast SEO lately, a major security flaw was patched this month and that should also be updated ASAP if not done already. If you were putting that off, you should do it now.

You can use a plugin. The plugin which was initially tested and offered as solution for adding multilingual content and translation support it was qTranslate but since it hasn’t been updated we haven’t tested it recently. As an alternative, you can use the qTranslate X plugin which is a descendant of qTranslate, which has apparently been abandoned by the original author.
You can also give it a try, test it and see how it works.

Please try to update your permalink structure and also test this without using any plugins, disable all of them leaving just Visual Composer active.

Might be better off with a different theme then lol, I’ve been configuring mine full time since Christmas 😮 I’ve nearly got it now though, seems stable enough once you get all of the server stuff sorted out.
If it’s to do with allow_url_fopen no update will fix it, I’d be willing to bet that’s your problem though.

And some more info:
This seems to happenned since I updated to the latest theme version.
The normal behavior should be like this: When I move the cursor to the parent category, it has a dropdown, and when I click on the parent category, it should go to the link of that parent category.
However, on touchsreen devices, now when I move the cursor to the parent cate, nothing happens, when I click on the parent cate, it has a dropdown, then I click again on that parent cate, the dropdown disappears (and of course it doesn’t go any where). And that makes me headache these days 🙂
Again, this problem only happens on Chrome and Opera on all touchsreen devices I tested, and also on Safari on Ipad

Using the importer doesn’t add views (update the views/pop 7 days post custom filed ). The views custom fields are added by the theme so the count starts when viewing the post for the first time.
You don’t need to assign any initial value for the 7 days post count. The count starts after the first view of the post and updates after each view, then based on those field values the 7 days post sorting feature will sort your posts.

I have been hearing a lot of noise around here about Newspaper 5. I have heard how it’s gonna completely change the grid system, add fabulous new features, and turn Newspaper into a whole new theme. I am very glad that I went for Newspaper, I am really loving it. Just wondering, when is this new update coming in? is it by the end of April, or just in a couple weeks? There’s beena lot of confusion about that lately, no one is sure.

Unfortunately you need custom modifications to add vk social network to theme’s social system.
We plan to improve theme’s social sharing system add extra social sharing networks in future theme updates however we haven’t decided yet which networks will be added but we have this on our request list and we will consider it.
If you need this we suggest you hire a developer or a freelancer to implement it for you.

Please check your child theme files even your child theme is current version, you may have to update those files in the child theme and add the custom modifications again. Also purge your files if you use CDN.

Um, well. Themes don’t stop working unless WordPress changes radically, but that’s true of everything. PHP might change tomorrow and nothing would work. What if TagDiv was no longer around — would you drop your theme “right now.” No.
I still use many plugins from defunct orgs, themes from defunct companies, etc. If they work, who cares.
I have themes from 2009 that still work with WordPress 4.1 just fine. So, I just updated two sites recently after 6 years with new theme — I didn’t have to, I just wanted to. They could still sit there and serve traffic without “my business being in danger” … Why suppose this theme would suddenly stop working in a month or a year?
Still – obviously best to plan for the worst.
In any case, they do honor refund requests, thankfully, which is very cool. 🙂

Because if there is any new update in WordPress like after 6 months or more , so you will have many problem in compatible with other version of your theme , and the main agreement in themeforest.net to have free update and to all users to make your theme out of risk and Compatibility issue or your business will be in danger .
SO if the tagdiv continue supporting RTL I will still on this theme because I love it and i think this is more powerfull than AVADA .

If the theme didn’t support Visual Composer I would just leave it at the final version. Just because there is an update doesn’t mean you have to use it.
One of my top websites has been running the same version of Woo Canvas for 2 years. The updates to the theme didn’t add anything I needed, so there was no burning need to upgrade it. Site works, has an audience, no need to keep updating every little thing unless it’s a security issue.
New color paint comes out for my house; I don’t need to repaint it.
v5 isn’t going to break v4 … it won’t stop working … your site isn’t going to explode and lose all your content.
In the webdev community we refer to this as “freezing” a site once it works. Much like in our music studio, when the system works, we “freeze” it — we don’t install every little software patch and driver which might break something. Same idea.
Upshot: if your site works, use it. Concentrate on making it work NOW, and then work on the content. Waiting for some new version of the theme to fix your site and do something beyond the version you purchased isn’t very productive. It works great “right now” …

Hmm I did some more testing, after I updated the review (I removed a picture) it now works. I didn’t change anything about the rating or code, other than removing the picture. Odd. Could be related to some new plugins I installed, which may have messed with my first review. My second review appeared in the widget without problems.
