Hello @nareshpatkare !
I have no ETA. If our developers find something that can be updated in our theme, then they will add it in the next updates.
Thank you for understanding!
Hi in the new 12.6 update where is Theme Panel for minifying and aggregating block’s inline CSS option located exactly?
Also, Specific JS files are now loaded only when needed are going to happen automatically or do we need to turn an option on?
Hello Bettina, a recent update has been released. Is the modal in a modal feature now available? You mentioned that this feature would arrive in the next update.
Hello!
Please make sure that your theme and plugins are up to date.
Execute these steps:
1. disable TagDiv Composer
2. uninstall(delete) TagDiv Composer
3. install TagDiv Composer
4. activate TagDiv Composer
Thank you!
Hi,
in the changelog of the latest version we read “fix: Twitter new logo”, but after the update we didn’t notice any changes (the old profile with the “bird” continues to appear).
What’s going on?
I have this problem too, I noticed when WordPress updates, TagDiv composer deactivates.
Hello!
When you make an update to the theme, the plugin should be updated too.
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin that applies these settings after every update.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please update the theme to the latest version 12.5.1
Please make a full backup to all files and database => https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAJXrSI-dDA
Here you can find information about the changes that have occurred in each update over time https://tagdiv.com/newspaper/
I recommend that you update the theme manually https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ via FTP/cPanel/File Manager, also if possible disable extra plugins during the theme update to avoid any problems that may arise and make sure that you have activated the tagDiv Standard pack plugin to keep the website’s look. You can try to update the theme on a staging website.
After you update the theme, you need to update the theme plugins too.
In the worst cases, the settings in the theme panel may be lost (there have been isolated cases), in these cases, after the theme plugins that were previously used are activated, you will have to use a backup for the theme panel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/
Thank you!

Hi,
Our website http://www.urbanpitch.com is currently using Newspaper version 7.5, and with the recent WordPress update we’ve been running into problems because it isn’t compatible with PHP 8.0. The create_function seems to be the issue. We’d like to update the theme to a more recent version that would support PHP 8.0, can you please provide some guidance? Thanks!
If anyone is wondering on this, the support page shows the location of the plugin incorrectly.
The plugin location is under code>otherplugins folder
Hello @cassiano12 !
Yes, or the cache plugin. We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use the mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.
Thank you!
Hi,
My recommendation is that before updating the theme to make a full backup for the database and current website, disbale the extra plugins during the update process, after that update the theme manually – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ (after the theme update, make sure that the needed plugins are installed, like tagDiv Composer, maybe tagDiv Standard Pack and tagDiv Cloud Library).
In the worst cases, the settings in the theme panel may be lost (there have been isolated cases), in these cases, after the theme plugins that were previously used are activated, you will have to use a backup for the theme panel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/
Thank you!
We operate a website presently utilizing version 9.8 of the “newspaper” theme. Regrettably, certain plugins, particularly the “tagDiv Social Counter,” are experiencing issues and causing our site to crash when enabled.., and these plugins are crucial for our website’s functionality. In an attempt to address this, we decided to update the theme to its most recent version. However, this update appears to be causing disruptions in the website’s operations. We would appreciate any insights into the potential root causes of this issue and any recommended solutions. Thank you.
Hi,
Please also, check the files because the code can be injected in the index, wp_options and delete the code which looks strange https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/update-required-newspaper-12-1-1-brings-extra-security/
Thank you!
I just updated WP and Newspaper. Everything looks the same on the website and on the post preview page, but on the page where you do all the work of making the post the margins are super wide (about twice what the should be). I can change the margins for each block with the block control on the right, but I need to know how to permanently set all the margins I see when I’m making/editing posts so things are the same there as the preview and the website. Thanks for any help.
ALWAYS UPDATE.
Then do a malware scan.
Look at the plugins you are using as well.
My problem was apparently resolved by updating the Newsmag theme to the latest version.
Couldn’t update it automatically, I had to do it manually via FTP
I also have this problem. Every time I preview a post it creates the new admin account. I hired a malware removal service, but they couldn’t fix it. I “solved” it by not deleting greeceman from users but instead changing the role from “admin” to “none.” So now I at least no longer get new admin accounts when I preview a post.
I’m about to update my theme.
One of my sites (the one that uses tag div Newspaper theme) just experienced the same thing with an admin account being created with those same credentials:
admin account
Identifier: greeceman
Email: greeceman@mail.com
Even after deleting the account, within a few hours it returned and once again I deleted it. I also escalated to my WP Managed Host who ran a bunch of scans and tools to detect malware, which they could not find.
Just updated to the latest version of Newspaper—is this issue fixed? And is this a bug in the theme or something else? It seems quite a few users had this issue.
Thank you
Sorting by custom fields would be a very useful, hopefully this make it into a future update.
Hello!
I suggest you wait a few days for the update.
Thank you!
Hello!
That option will be available in the next update.
Thank you!
