Hello,
The new cloud library is a great idea, however I cannot install basically any element because I can’t see the ‘import’ or ‘create’ template button. I can only see them if the template has little information. This is because I can’t scroll down on the popup page. I’m using a 15″ laptop, not a desktop like you guys probably. I tried using edge and chrome and they both have the problem. Please update the plugin so you can scroll down on the info popup for each template.
I deleted and re-installed the plugin twice with the same problem, deleted my caches too.
Thank you
Hi,
That notice is displayed when after a theme update the tagDiv composer and social counter have not updated automatically, which they should. In this case, delete both plugins and reinstall them from the theme plugins panel here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/bl3DcDIe
Then there should be no problem, let us know if there still is.
Thanks
The AMP plugin does not work with the new upgrade. It won’t even let me activate it. It tells me it’s not compatible with the current version and deactivates it again.
Also, why is it everytime I update I have to re-activate the Tag-Div Composer? Every time I update, my site looks broken because the Composer isn’t active. Not a huge issue, just annoying.
How to I revert Back to 8.7?
The theme update screwed up my entire site and made it soo slow. I couldn’t even access the wp-admin page
I’ve updated both the theme and plugin, and I get the same error. (It’s not a new issue – it’s been an error since the first day I activated Newspaper and added the tagDiv Pinterest widget.) Any ideas what I can do?
good evening, I have a problem with the colors of the site. a problem a bit ‘strange. I try to explain myself. I changed the background color of the top menu and the main menu. everything works, but when I update the page or change page for a few seconds the old color (black) comes back and then the color chosen by me reappears. why this problem in the page refresh? thank you

Okay, i’ve updated the site through the envatomarket plugin. And went through the entire process and was notified of its successful update. However the entire site seems to be wrong. With elements being misplaced and not working.
Can you take a look at my website and advise : link: nouveautycoon.com
and unable to access the TD Composer to even try and fix them

update your theme and it should work like a charm.
Hi there,
we are using Newspaper + the mobile theme. Funny thing: since the update from 8.7.4 to 8.7.5 (currently running on 8.8.) the tagDiv Mobile Theme Plugin (version 1.1) is deactivating itself randomly. We do not get any warnings or similar within wordpress, it just deactivates itself and we have to switch it on again. This could then work for minutes or hours until it deactivates itself again.
Our site has around 300k visitors a month – so we should normally see a pattern or a trigger that’s responsible for this behavior, but till now we haven’t found out.
We checked the database logs and the server logs – nothing. We also activated debugging – also nothing related to this strange behavior (just a warning we already fixed).
Any ideas what could go wrong? Did you introduce any changes to the mobile theme related to the last updates of the theme?
Server Setup: nginx, easy engine, fastcgi-cache – worked like a charm till the update from 8.7.4 to 8.7.5
Thanks
I spotted that my homepage (built with Visual Composer in previous version of Newspaper) had broken with the 8.8 update. I installed my own copy of Visual Composer – that I bought years ago from CodeCanyon – and it seems to be working again.
Did you not include Visual Composer into the new version of Newspaper, or has something else broken?
Hi,
You simply have to install and activate the newsletter plugin. Then the newsletter element will appear in the tagDiv composer list of elements
– https://www.screencast.com/t/jH8Ch4Kbivk
Some guides about the plugin here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-newsletter-plugin/
– https://tagdiv.com/newsletter-plugin/
The plugin will be improved over future updates.
Thanks
update….
theme panel changes not working
Our site is not displaying correctly. CSS does not load because of redirects with incredible resource consumption since the last update
Hi,
@fkduzenli What exactly is happening? Is is not working at all? Try the suggestions from these topic first

If you recently updated to the latest theme version check if the composer has updated automatically

Hello,
1. The alt tags were added inthe composerr code as empty alt tags. It will not grab the alt tag of the iamages on the composer elements. I have added this to our list for future updates and we will fix it in future releases.
2. Yes, it was disabled for mobile devices and can be enabled by removing the mentioned code.
3. Unfortunately with background images, you will get a responsive issue as they cannot display as a standard img tag, but rather they are added as a css backgorund-image property and that will not scale as a standard image when on narrow screens.
Thank you!
Unfortunately we have updated the memory but it hasn’t worked. Any other causes you can think of?
update….
after installing cloud templates plugins its seen like this

Hi,
I see you use a very old version of the theme. Please update the theme to the latest version by using this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
There was an issue with the background ads in newspaper 7 that was fixed since.
Thanks
After Updating of newspaper its taking high memory and also site down with 503 and 500 errors. website https://thefinexpress.com/. Please solve. I updated 8.8 just now. Tag Div composer deleted and activated.
Hi,
The tagDiv composer and social counter plugin should be updated automatically when the theme is updated, this works for most users. Sometimes this fails it seems, we will gradually try to further improve this process. In case it fails, the plugins will be deactivated and you will have to update them manually, the rest of the theme plugins will also have to be updated manually.
@julingn That is unusual, so by deactivating the contact form 7 plugin or GDPR compliance plugin the issue is solved. The theme is compatible with both so there would be no conflict. We could take a look, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin access, FTP and cPanel if possible. Include a link to this topic in the email. Be sure to use the latest version of theme, theme plugins and WordPress.
Thanks
Yep – updated to 8.8 and twitter counter still stuck at old value.
Hello, sir, I updated the theme to 8.8 then install tagDiv cloud library but when I click ad new it shows loading then error Invalid reply from a server endpoint.
Hello,
Thank you for your suggestion. I will add a +1 to this on our list for future updates.
Hi,
When a demo is uninstalled, all the demo related content will be removed (demo posts, menus, categories etc) The theme panel settings will also be reset.
Your own created and published posts and pages will not be affected (unless you manually edited demo posts and pages and modified them instead of creating new ones).
These would be the things to keep in mind in this case. Installing a new demo will import it’s design (all demos have custom design, except default demo) and new theme panel settings. The demo home page will be provided only if you install the demo with content. If you don’t install it with content you could re-create it manually or copy it fro the demo files. Some more useful topics here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/after-import-demo-not-like-preview/
Some users have local copies of the website, useful to test plugins, updates, and even switching demos. This would be more safer then doing it in the live website.
And remember to make full backups before making any major changes, just to be safe.
Thanks
