I haven’t been able to use visual composer for a long time. Theme is updated, the plugin is up to date too.
I’m getting this error
Hello,
We do not seem to get any of the search errors you are seeing on your site: https://www.screencast.com/t/Df3ba0Q3X
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Then test again.
Thank you!
Hello,
I have tested wp super cache on my end again but did not see any extra fields in the comments section. Please disable all other plugins except visual composer and wp super cache and clear all caching including cdn files if you use it. Then test the comments again. If you use a child theme try to switch to the main theme.
Thank you!

Then please make sure the system status parameters are properly set: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Also test this on a wp default theme to see if the issue is present only when using our theme.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please try to edit your table as it seems to be custom made and the css is not properly set. Internet explorer seems to ignore the table css. I suggest a different approach tho this element as tables are not recommended in a responsive environment. You can simply use visual composer single image elements and then transfer the shortcode in a text box in the sidebar. On pages you can create the element directly inside the page content.
Thank you!
Hello kamoe,
First of all, please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme and then, you should use only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. The version of Visual Composer plugin should have to be the version which comes bundled with the theme packet, and it has to be installed via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard. For more references about how you can update the theme and Visual Composer via FTP, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
After this, if the problem is still there, please ensure that your system status is set according to our guide here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Thanks for the message!
I just noticed that all my blog posts that use Visual Composer boxes are now using Monserrat for the text font, instead of Merriweather. Is it because of this custom code? It wasn’t like this before.
Or where in Theme Panel do you find the font specifically for VC boxes?
All my other blog posts that I didn’t create using VC have the correct font.
Hi,
If the blocks show as code you need to click on Backend editor – https://www.screencast.com/t/hOLCV9ob and you will be able to use the editor – https://www.screencast.com/t/U2bMvgjwe5 You can find more about Visual composer here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
I’m sorry I missed the second question, the page template with latest articles will always display that feature at the bottom of the page after your content, as specified here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/ What you could do is to select the default page template with no latest articles – https://www.screencast.com/t/iOZequzj and create a block with the title Latest articles and position it wherever you want in the page – https://www.screencast.com/t/MiA3WQq3Z7W and use any content and sorting you want – https://www.screencast.com/t/RiCNYKchTMZK
Thanks
Hi,
This could be caused by a plugin or a plugin conflict so please try to disable all plugins except Visual Composer to rule this out, and also clear the cache and reset cdn files if you use it to see if the problem is still there.
Thanks
Hello,
The ajax filter should put the links automatically if you add the ajax filter data. Please use this guide to display content in the ajax filter: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
If the filter does not populate properly, please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please note that like it is specified above by Edward you do not need to activate Visual composer and do not worry in this regard, it is already activated and you can use it without any restrictions. You do not have to worry about the plugin update warnings. If you have any other issues regarding Visual Composer please provide more information about the nature of this problem.
Thanks
Hello,
I have inspected your site and saw tha issue. You have a redirect on your link: https://www.screencast.com/t/Y3cuuQGW20
It could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hello,
Unfortunately there is no global font in our theme. The fonts are particular everywhere and they come from the theme, and from visual composer. That is the reason why we cannot use a global font as visual composer adds it;s own fonts to it’s own elements and our license agreement will not let us modify anything from the plugin.
You can try this topic to get rid of the google fonts: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/do-i-really-need-to-change-all-the-text-fields-for-fonts/
Unfortunately for these changes, you can only edit the main theme. sorry. There is no simple hook to use in the child theme.
Thank you!
Hi,
You do not need to buy or activate the Visual composer plugin because the theme includes an activated license for it. It will be updated along with the theme and included in the plugins folder, also do not worry about Visual composer update warnings. Please follow these tutorials about using Visual composer editor to create a homepage and setting it as a static page – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/ or if you want to have a blog style where all your posts are displayed on the front page, you can change the template for the articles in Theme panel->Template settings->Blog and posts template – https://www.screencast.com/t/joEKmSMkkY0
Thanks
Hello,
Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-use-visual-composer/ and you will see that we only recommend using visual composer on pages, not on posts. Posts already have text blocks (text does not need to be added in a text box to show on a post) and already provides lists (bulleted or not) from the tiny mce editor.
It can be changed with css but it;s simpler to just not use VC to set up simple text or lists.
2. again, please use the default post editor and not VC for lists and text.
Thank you!

The theme scroll bar is a very very thin line that will not take up much of the screen but the css seems to be replaced with the bulky default scroll bar.
Thank you!

Hello,
Sorry but unfortunately the mobile theme template cannot be changed at the moment. You cannot replace blocks with other ones as the mobile theme does not use visual composer. It was created specifically to only use the elements you see.
Thank you!
Hello,
You most likely have a js error in your browser console. This is usually caused by plugins so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Hi,
You can create a page with all the elements you want in Visual composer editor and then set it as a static homepage. You can find more information about Visual composer here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/ and about creating and setting a static homepage here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
Thanks
Hello,
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then install the mobile theme before all the other plugins.
Thank you!
Hello,
The pages on the mobile theme have to be created in the new mobile editor found in page edit. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you cannot create a new page that menas there is most likely a plugin conflict that is preventing the page creation. Please disable all plugins except visual composer and the mobile theme. clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
Thank you!
Hello,
The issue you are seeing is the sidebar getting pulled on top of the content. It is usually a plugin issue so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
If this does not fix it, it probably means you have an open HTML tag somewhere on the post itself. Check your post html structure in text mode
Thank you!
