Hello emalgumlugardomundo,
I have tested on my side this case and everything seems to work as properly. Please notice that the Speed Booster is also tested with the Visual Composer and works as properly. Please ensure that you have correctly set it your speed booster because the plugin is tested with VC and should work as properly and for you. Also, check your speed booster and all the settings which you had through this.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi
Sorry for this misunderstanding. Because of huge amount of works my colleague Catalin omitted to check the origin of these buttons.
Checking your site I’ve noticed that you have setup some margins for this button: http://screencast.com/t/Ir5RY9R2s1 that’s why its layout is affected on mobile. If I remove these margins the button will be displayed fine: http://screencast.com/t/QKmujbmG
Edit the page with Visual Composer and remove the indicated margins as they cause the misalignment for your button.
Thanks!
Hi
This blank space is not generated by the theme, it seems to be added by a facebook widget: http://screencast.com/t/DxlcxjRX I am not sure what code calls that widget but it could be one of your installed plugins or a custom code added in theme’s files. Try to deactivate all plugin except Visual Composer, clear all caches then test again If you still can’t manage to remove that space use this css in theme panel > custom code > custom css: http://screencast.com/t/hG4hl3DzhRSX
.fb_iframe_widget_fluid {
display: none;
}
Thanks!
Hi
Related article tabs have a similar functionality as tabs built in from Visual Composer but unfortunately this part is not available in Visual Composer at the moment. We don’t have a shortcode for this element so it can’t be used on page like others blocks.
Thanks!
Hi @Holsinda
This is a known issue and we don’t recommend to use the Photon module of Jetepack. From our reports it creates problems on smart-lists and also modal image is affected by it.
@maxpeerawat Try to deactivate all plugin except Visual Composer, clear all caches then test again. Note that we didn’t tested any plugins for galleries and I can’t say how they will work with our theme.
Thanks!
Hello dmitriy,
It’s most likely a conflicting plugin that creates this issue. I have checked your source page and I noticed that you are using some untested plugins. Please try to disable them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out this conflict. Also, you can try to disable the lazy load option from your panel because this option could interfere with your untested plugins and could create this type of issues. -> http://screencast.com/t/louo7XBjOn
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Hello rafaello4,
I have checked your website and I saw that you have some js errors in your console. Also, I have noticed that you are using a lot of untested plugins in the theme and these could create some unknown issues in theme. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Also, after you can re-install your plugins one by one and check which is the culprit that cause this issue.
Hope this helps and let us know if your problem is still there.
Thank you for the message!
Hello Cybi,
Please notice that the Visual Composer come bundled with our theme and you do not have to buy the license for this plugin, ignore this message! Also, you can install the Visual Composer according to our documentation and simply install it from Plugin Area, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/bEyNZojr0ozg The zip file is not required to move nowhere. Please check carefully our documentation in this regard because there you can find all the steps which are needed to take to accomplish this.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello andantesash,
It seems to be a conflicting plugin. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer and Woocommerce to active, clear all caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out this conflict. If you are using the Wordfence plugin, please try to disable it because it seems that generate some issue in the theme with the latest version of WordPress (4.5)
Please check this topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/cant-save-theme-settings/ because there was discussed this problem about Wordfence plugin. If you have the Wordfence plugin, please disable it or set it according to workaround that was explained in that topic by Bryson T.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Hi
Sorry for the late reply but we answer from oldest topics to newest and because you updated your topic it appear to as among the first topics.
For a beater understanding of how theme features works please check our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-documentation/
Basically you can edit a page using Visual Composer page-builder: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
If you’re referring at categories pages they can be customized from theme panel > categories section. The changes form that section will be applied only for category pages: http://screencast.com/t/hQa2OjRlpKK – http://screencast.com/t/kGHjRhqxWI3F
I am not very sure at what you’re referring in your second topic so please provide more specific details so I can get back to you with a more accurate answer.
Thanks!
Hello pisajnoy,
First of all, please notice that if you have never used WordPress and themes with this CMS earlier and if you are a beginner in this domain, please keep in mind that you will have to spend quite a bit of time learning that first to do so. Please try to read the entire of our documentation because there you will find all the steps which are needed to create your own website. Also, please notice that the Visual Composer is the main plugin of the theme by which can achieve as you wish. Let’s begin with this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/wordpress-information/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/ Also, you can check our Youtube section because there you can find a lot of useful video tutorial which could be more useful for you -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ss-BEobegAw
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello BrunoBerlanga,
Until now, we do not have any bad reports in this case. Please notice that our theme does not have any problem with responsiveness, as you can see in our demo here -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Please notice that exist a lot of plugins but not all of theme are working as properly with our theme. In future, if on your side appears something wrong, please try always to compare it with our demo and if on the demo looks good, please notice that the issue comes from your side and not from our theme. Also, most of your above plugins are not tested with our theme and could cause a lot of unknown issues through the theme.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi Bogdan, Yep so I followed the guide but still it doesn’t work…is that because I have these plug ins?
Ninja Forms
tagDiv Social Counter
tagDiv Speed Booster
Wordfence Security
Wp Super Cache
WpBakery Visual Composer
Toast SEO
Thanks
Hello Catalin,
sorry – nothing is going. I tried your proposed versions – at least I deinstalled the whole WP – and Visual Composer is again not installable – see screenshot .
I`m not really unexperienced in WP – but this is a crazy problem – how we can solve this? If you need access to my wp-installation for installing the plugins – please let my know and I will provide you with username and password.
Thanks for your support
Michael
Hi
Sorry for the delay but we answer the topics from the oldest to newest.
From this screen https://gyazo.com/70b904c98cadd75bf7192ea0bf9bc13a it seems that you’re on a static page not on a category page. The settings from this section: https://gyazo.com/5e40d330a65a961681bb3bd575f11d4e are applied only for category pages, not on static pages. Static pages can be edited using Visual Composer if you want to change the elements. For more details please check our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-use-visual-composer/
If you still can’t manage to solve this please provide your site url and more details about your issue so I can have a closer look and get back to you with a more accurate answer.
Thanks!
Hi,
I hope you are well. Beautiful template, very happy with it so far. Decided to use one of the demos, however it seems to be missing the ‘Category top post’ style, even after applying it.
For example, mine currently will not change past three ‘featured’ defaults : My Site Featured Posts
Exactly what I’d like to do, the demo’s: Demo Site Featured Posts
My settings are as follows: My Settings, Global
I have attempted clearing my cache, and checking if this is meant to be done within Visual Composer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
M
Hi,
Well, you do not have to use html as the visual editor is ‘wysiwyg’ and it does not ‘need’ html. It’s true that more complex elements will require a bit of html.
Thank you.
Hi,
I have checked your site and saw that you do not have any block element from visual composer on your posts, you are just using it to create post content (standard text). The theme requires visual composer but only for pages, not posts. You can create your post content inside the wordpress mce editor and not use visual composer at all for post. if you do, then the shortcodes will be picked up in the meta, so in this case you will have to manually add the meta description for each post as there is no automatic way to do this.
Please look at this video guide on how to create posts properly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iuENF-Oeg2Y
Thank you!
Hello parklife76,
Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. If you are using the Wordfence security plugin, please notice that this plugin is not tested with our theme and seems to cause this type of errors. (does not allow you to save).
Please check this topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/cant-save-theme-settings/ because there was discussed this problem about Wordfence plugin. If you have the Wordfence plugin, please disable it or set it according to workaround that was explained in that topic by Bryson T.
Hope this helps!
Thank you for the message!
Hi,
If you check our online demo with google pagespeed you will see there are no issues with it regarding responsiveness: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
The demo represents the ‘untouched’ version of the theme, a ‘clean version’ if you will. If there is a theme problem, then our demo should also have it.
Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then test your site again and compare the results. Plugins can cause such issues when they come in conflict withe the theme or each other.
Thank you!
Hello, when I use the visual composer the breadcrumbs disapear. Someone have a solution for display it ?
Best regards
Hi,
Well in order to have block elements on your post page, you will require visual composer as it is required by the theme. Visual composer is not tested on posts so we cannot say for sure how it will affect seo. You can try to use the shortcodes without the rows and columns to see if it will position properly.
Unfortunately I have no better answer as VC is not tested on posts.
Thank you.
Hi
This issue was caused by the new version of WP. Please update your theme using this guide:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and then update visual composer to the latest version using this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Please make sure that after the update you have version 4.11.2 of visual composer: http://screencast.com/t/hobX3PH5IsG
Thank you!
Hi,
Please try to deactivate all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
This could be a plugin conflict.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
Hi,
Please try to deactivate all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
If the problem is still there, please try to increase your system status parameters: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
(All of the reports on this error were caused by wordfence so in your case it could have been the cache not being cleared)
Thank you!
