You can try to upload the plugin via ftp. You can find it in the /plugins folder from files that you download from themeforest – http://screencast.com/t/9vFPNCUhK0
connect to your server, go to the /plugins folder, unzip the Visual Composer upload it – http://screencast.com/t/kD3YPsT9nj
It is similar procedure to updating the theme via ftp, but instead just upload the Visual Composer in the plugins folder – https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

Please make sure that you use the latest theme version and check this only with Visual Composer active, disable all other plugins and clear cache, maybe the issue is caused by a plugin and refresh an article and see if the view counter increments.

Please make sure that you use the latest theme version and also the Visual Composer version provided with the theme.
Check this only with Visual Composer active, disable all other plugins and clear cache, it should work exactly like on our demo.

You have to be more specific and point us to the link that’s not working because I can’t find it on your site. It could be a plugin issue though. Try to disable all plugins except visual composer and see if it works. If the problem is still there, provide more details.

Please use the instructions from the guide below to update the theme and the FTP method to do it and also make sure that you make a backup of your current theme installation so you can revert back to it in case something goes wrong.

You fix a single widget(element) only on pages where you can add td-ss-row class to the row – https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/ But for post pages or other templates where you cannot use Visual Composer, all the widgets(from you custom sidebar) will stick.

It would be advised not to post your login details here as it is a public forum.
The theme uses a custom function to cut excerpts to a given length (x characters/x words). It can be found in the theme panel and it can be customized on different modules: http://screencast.com/t/RwdWhZuiO
Please try to disable all of your plugins except visual composer and see if the problem is still there. It could be a plugin conflict.

I have tested ads on sidebar using shortcodes and it works for banner ads and adsense. you can create a simple textbox in visual composer and add your shortcode there:

You can also use the plugin method PatWire sugested. AdRotate is tested and works fine with our theme.

Please make sure that you use the latest version of Social Counter. To make sure please deactivate and delete it – http://screencast.com/t/IBddMaEHhq and install it from – http://screencast.com/t/nChxmG4W6I
Also check this without any plugins active except of Visual Composer and Social Counter, clear cache and see if you still have this issue. If the issue persist try to add a different id(fb, twitter..) see if the counter works then re-add your id so you will refresh it.

As i understand you need to use the “your latest posts” homepage which uses the index.php file but with a different layout, one resembling newsmag homepage. This requires some custom modifications which we cannot provide. But i can point you in the right direction:
You will need a bit of PHP knowledge to do this.
You can use a function: <?php echo do_shortcode(''); ?> in your index.php file below the like so: http://screencast.com/t/D092zLsbJtq. (You need to add it to that specific container or it will lose its styling.)
Inside the shortcode function you will place the visual composer shortcodes you see in classic mode: http://screencast.com/t/g0C1VpiMWA – http://screencast.com/t/g0C1VpiMWA.
It should llok like this: <?php echo do_shortcode('[vc_row][vc_column][td_block_2][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][td_block_15][/vc_column][/vc_row]'); ?>.
This will bring the blocks from visual composer to your index page.

The Visual Composer plugin is required to customize your pages/posts with theme’s elements and the theme is deigned based on it so you couldn’t use other page builder. Latest version of the VC plugin haven’t been reported as affecting site’s performance anymore.

To improve your server response time you can also try to reduce the number of queries (fewer plugins, fewer blocks on page, reduce the elements which use ajax requests/pagination like mega menus/load more/infinite load), also consider using a cache plugin and to improve the loading speed look the mysql query cache: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/query-cache.html We also use it on our demo. If you haven’t already, you can try a caching plugin, like WP Super Cache or cloudflare’s CDN.

You can also contact your host provider and let them know about this, they might have specific info on what is the cause of this in your case.

There are many factors which can be taken into consideration concerning server’s response time. You can use google’s improvement recommendation on this: https://developers.google.com/speed/docs/insights/Server

Please check your individual pages and edit them in visual composer, because there is no global page template in the theme panel. You can either add elements in visual composer or add a predefined layout: http://screencast.com/t/sZHKnZ6dMp. There are also 3 types of templates here: http://screencast.com/t/cWDSm0gF9
As for posts there are multiple post templates some with margins others without: You can change post templates in the theme panel for global settings: http://screencast.com/t/NBB2OsY7O7, or on individual posts: http://screencast.com/t/6VNPoqjI.
