I need to know how to optimize my website speed. I recently installed the newspaper theme and the site loads fast for sure from my end but when I test on google site speed test and also gtmetrix, it doesn’t score good. Please, I need to know if there’s any additional setup I need to do from my end. I have bought newspaper theme about two days ago,After I have activated this theme. My website is getting down very quickly. getting resource limit exceed error on my web hosting.
If I use generate press theme or other theme. there is no issue with the server.
But If I activate the newspaper theme, the website is dropping speed, also It is getting down every hour for 5 to 10 minutes.
I realize this may be a cache plugin issue, however everything is working great except tablet. So I would hate to throw away my page speed tweeks because the tablet isn’t responding.
Is there a way to force tablet into mobile or is there any specific snippets of code that can be excluded from optimizing? I know just enough to be dangerous.
It’s a shame that everything works but the stupid tablet. The irony is that we get a lot of tablet traffic.
Anyway, what’s a good solution other than wrecking my page load speed by disabling all my optimizations?

Please note that page speed is not something that is given by the theme only. We do recommend using Newspaper without standard pack but this all takes a lot of work in optimizing your website to the maximum. We have users that have 100 page speed, 99, and so on.

Unfortunately the only image size available on flex blocks are these -> https://i.imgur.com/g0Xp2In.png there is no option in theme to create other thumb size that can be use by flex block, this can be achieve only if you make change in theme files and these will be lost when you’ll update the theme.

The code must be set in one of the files from this path -> wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/single the important thing is that you need to have that element on your cloud template and the code for buttons should work.

I want to bring this in your notice that, I have already optimized the site. I have used cache plugin for the same. I optimized all the images in the website. In GTMetrix also the performance seems good i.e. in ‘A’, but site speed is still slow. If I use search bar it takes lot of time to load. If I install any plugin, it slows the site and search bar becomes irresponsive most of the time.
I had to remove every plugin including Jetpack, sucurri, gutenberg editor, in order to speed up the website. Even now, if I search anything through search bar, it takes forever to load any query or takes lot of time. If I add any plugin it slows the whole website and search bar becomes super slow to the extent that site becomes unresponsive. Kindly rectify this issue.

I would like to know how I would be able to improve my website loading speed, the site scores 19 and 60 (mobile and desktop) on Page Insights. I checked out the mobile theme plugin and it improved the site speed significantly to like 50 but prefer not to use it cause of the single template.
