The theme does not have any such an option in the panel that allows you to change the big grid category filter. Another alternative would be to create a category template from Cloud Library because using this way you can customize your category page using the TD Composer. Notice that we do not recommend the automatic theme update, because the Envato Toolkit it seems to be problematic and might appears some problems. Try to update the theme via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case.

Please update the theme to the latest version of it because I saw that you are not using the latest version of it. Do it via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. Some untested plugins used by you might interact with the theme core files and js files which causes a lot of unknown issues. Remove them and check the results.
