Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option that offers you a way to change the order of these but you can try to use a plugin which has this functionality and checks how it will work for you.
This is the default order and the theme doesn’t have such an option to change it. You can do this through the code or try to use a plugin like Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order as I saw that many users use it, please check this topic as reference – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-can-i-hide-all-from-megamenu-list/#post-71876 Also, please notice that you cannot select what categories appears on mega menu because this behaviour is set it by default to displays you all the subcategories for this category. If you want to change the structure of mega menu, you have to change it with hard coding and please notice that is not a simple task. If you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!

Please keep in mind that the goal of the mobile theme is to making the website on mobile as fast as on desktop as mobile visitors are looking for a fast page loading speed, clean content, and relevant information. Yes, this could be a reason in this regard. Please notice that you will have to use the Newspaper Child theme version which comes bundled with the new update in order to achieve best results in theme. You will have to try to copy all the customization from your old child theme and then paste them in the new version of the Child theme and check the results.

2)I suppose that you want to display the ads after the main menu bar, for every post,page and category page, right? Please notice that our theme does not have such an option to add this but only with a bit of coding. The only way to add a banner ad above the menu is using the do_shortcode method which you will have to add in the corresponding file for page/post/category template. Please notice that if you have used the WP Reset, this type of plugin has deleted all the data from your database and bring the WordPress to the initial state. If you do not have a full backup for your customizations, please notice that you will have to do your website from scratch because using the Wp Reset all of these has been removed.

Do you use the background color feature? I suppose that you are referring to the appearance of a flash when you enter on your website…firstly is loaded a style and then will appear another style, right? This behaviour appears when you have additional customization through custom CSS code. Please notice that the CSS are working in cascade and the first time will take the code from style.css that is set it by default and then the theme will take the custom code that you have changed from Theme panel and practically this flash is generated by this cause. As a workaround, you have to check your style.css and try to add directly in this file your desired custom code. So, if your problem is still there, please try to revert the theme to the default settings, without any customizations and let us know how it goes. Also, you can try to make a new fresh install from scratch with the latest version of the theme and check the results.
Also, please make sure every time you cleared caches.

Please notice that the Mobile theme display you only a default structure of the homepage which contains a Big Grid element filtered by Featured Posts, your custom text if you add in Mobile Editor from your Backend and in the bottom of the page you will get the Latest Articles modules. Unfortunately, our theme does not have such a simple option to filter authors/editors from the drop-down field, sorry!
