If you are using the latest version of our theme (Newspaper 7.0.1) and the latest version of WordPress (4.5.2), please ensure that you have updated your Visual Composer to the latest version of this (V.C 4.11.2). The latest version of the WordPress ‘broke’ the V?visual Composer and create a lot of unknown issues which were solved in the latest version. Clear all you caches and test it again and see how it works.

I suppose that you are using the PHP7 version to our theme. Please notice that the theme is not yet compatible with php7. Some elements have become deprecated in the new version of PHP so if you want to use version 7 you can ignore these warnings but as the version 7 is not tested, we suggest reverting to version 6. Please notice that our theme was fully tested in this regard before to be released and you should not have these type of errors. As you can see, the problems appear on your side and probably is caused by your settings.
So, first of all, please try to do a full backup to your data, according to this documentation here -> https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups to rule out the way can loose all your data from your database and then try to do a fresh install only VIA FTP -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ because this is the surest method in this case. In the next step, you will have to disable ALL your plugins and leave just Visual Composer to active -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ (for Newspaper 7 -> Visual Composer 4.11.2), clear all your caches, purge all CDN files if you are using CDN and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins and if you are using the Child theme, please try to switch to the main theme. So, please try to bring the website to the default settings to rule out all the potential errors which could appear when you customize your side.

Please notice that if you want to display your Top menu for your mobile theme, it is not possible because the top bar container was removed to mobile theme layout. So, in other cases, it should appear as properly. Try to clear all your caches and test it again.

All good cache plugins will clear the cache when a post, page, or comment is published. However, if you make other changes (e.g. to your theme), the cache may not be cleared and the old version may still appear. In this case, check the plugin’s instructions to find out how to clear its cache.

Note that WordPress does not come with a cache by default, so the above would only apply if you installed a cache plugin yourself.

If you want to have this option for your website you have to find some plugins that have this functionality and then you have to check on your theme and see how it works for you. Unfortunately, please notice that JW Player plugin is not tested with our theme and we have no idea about the theme behaviour with this type of plugin, sorry -> maybe it works well with the theme!
Unfortunately, our theme has not been designed to support as feature video from Facebook, only from YouTube, Vimeo and Dailymotion sorry! You can do this only through some plugins with this functionality or you can try to implement this function in our theme if you want. Please notice that is not a simple task and require to know solid knowledge about hard coding ->PHP/JS/HTML/CSS. If you want to display more levels in our theme and you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to do this for you because we cannot provide custom services at the moment, sorry!
I have added your suggestion to our list of improvements, we will consider this but we cannot say for sure that it will be implemented in next update because we have a big list of fixes and other new improvements to achieve that are more important and also these things are decided by our developers.
