Hi, please check the answer from here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/error-with-widgets-page-when-updating-theme-and-wp/#post-530658
Hi,
If you have this problem when you access the appearance > widget sections, then it should be like this – https://i.imgur.com/wQ7Y1rS.png (my current settings – https://i.imgur.com/X2xL8u0.png) if is not loading it can be a plugin interfering, also if you are using a child theme set the main theme and check again.
An alternative is to install and use the classic widget plugin, this normally resolve the problem.
Thank you!
Hi,
Thank you for your message!
It seems there may be a small misunderstanding. You mentioned the latest version of the Newsmag theme (5.4.3.3), but the vulnerability link you provided ( https://wpscan.com/vulnerability/038327d0-568f-4011-9b7e-3da39e8b6aea) actually refers to the Newspaper theme. That particular issue was resolved over two years ago.
As for Newsmag, the most recent update was on May 8th, 2025, which addressed an XSS vulnerability. There was also a previous XSS-related update on April 1st, 2025. You can find more details here: Newsmag on ThemeForest.
In the file located at ./wp-content/themes/Newsmag/includes/tagdiv-config.php, there’s just a class with a few arrays, a switch statement, and some define code. From what I can see, there’s nothing in this file that would typically be accessible from the outside or pose a security risk. It’s not clear how this could be exploited or lead to a vulnerability.
If you’re still seeing any warnings or issues related to the theme, please send over a detailed report, and I’ll be happy to forward it to our development team for further investigation.
Thanks again, and I appreciate your attention to this!
Please stay calm. We are trying to help you, and if this was a problem caused by the theme update then it would have happened to everyone who uses the Newspaper theme, not an isolated one, that doesn’t mean there can’t be something related to the theme that only happens in certain cases. I asked you to check the logs because in 99% of cases it shows what the error was and what happened, because in these situations you need to see what caused them and which files gave the error.
Thank you for your understanding
Is there any element that works like HTML Marquee tag? News Ticket works on only categories. Any alternate solution? unfortunately the only element that is similar is the News Ticket element.
The Raw HTML allow you use html code with css and js (it will be similar with a html file, it’s usually used for html code, js code and css code that should be used on that page or template, the css code should be set between css tags and the same should be the js code), the Column Text is using the classic editor and is used for adding text, images …. and use the provided elements to still it.
Please provide a link to an article where the problem can be seen and I will let you know what can be the problem and how it can be resolved.
I’m glad it helps!
Hi,
1. Yes, you can combine more pre-built website. All pre-build webiste have been made using tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Library. The most used option is to install a demo, in this case will be better to install the Job Hunt Pro and after that from Cloud templates to import the template you want for your website blog – https://i.imgur.com/cNEz2i5.png
2. The theme panel language will apply only on those texts that are not dynamic and can not be edited using tagDiv Composer. Use the theme builder, select the element and change the text – https://i.imgur.com/jiwnXRG.png – https://i.imgur.com/6EWvPqA.png
3. Settings the fonts in the theme panel it’s ok, but you’ll also need to set it on pages and cloud templates, it is possible that those to use different fonts – https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/ open the page/template with tagDiv Composer and select the website manager, then select the global fonts and add your fonts there and replace those that are currently set – https://i.imgur.com/3t3A03G.png
4. You can import the homepage of Week Pro – https://i.imgur.com/1K8KAyR.png – https://i.imgur.com/muVc00t.png then set it as homepage, open the page with tagDiv Composer and add the elements you want on it, if you want you can use the cloud to add the Job Hunt sections you want in the week page – https://i.imgur.com/gqd7Upn.png – https://i.imgur.com/6XUhMrE.png
5. The sidebar can be set in 2 ways, using tagDiv Composer, set the row in columns and add in the right column the elements you want, then you can save the elements and drag theme from composer in the other pages and cloud templates.
Solution 2 is using widgets – https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-tutorial/you can use default Newspaper sidebar widget, add the elements you want it it (dashboard > appearance > widgets), the just use tagDiv Composer on pages and cloud templates were you want the sidebar, ad the the sidebar widget and select the widget you want to display.
6. Unfortunately I can not see the article – https://i.imgur.com/D8JkMP1.png , but if you imported a single post template (week pro one) and is assigned, then the elements set in the theme should look the same, only the content added with the wordpress editor can look different, but not in matter of fonts, should be the same fonts.
7. This can be a problem related to more factors, for example something is interfering with the theme or theme plugin, or something is not installed enabled (required theme plugins), make sure that tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library, tagDiv opt-in builder are installed and activated and also the Job Hunt PRO Plugin – https://i.imgur.com/2LGJPkD.png
8. Just make sure that you have install the pre-build website Job hunt pro and this will bring the form for submitting jobs – https://i.imgur.com/MlJLhOj.png – https://i.imgur.com/Y2K9PHD.png also you can check our documentation for how to create one – https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-frontend-submission-form/
9. To add an extra filter you’ll need to add a new taxonomy, this can be done using a plugin as ACF plugin, this allow you to create PCTs and taxonomies. Create the taxonomy you need and use the guide form point 8 to add the taxonomy on form.
Thank you!
Hi Vunt,
Yes, the steps you made are correct, to have a different version on mobile you need to have a different content on it so it is used a different page to hold that content – https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
The Homepage will be the main page and the Homepage – mobile (that is the mobile page and appears in google results because it is indexed, but will be used only when mobile devices are used).
Thank you!
Hi,
If you have an old header and maybe an old theme version, then it is possible that the code from it no no longer be working with most recent WordPress versions. In this situations I will recommend a full backup and after that to update the theme and WordPress after that make a test using only tagDiv plugins and check the browser console for errors. Also if you are using a child theme, please set the main theme for tests.
Thank you!
Hi,
Can you please provide some more details and some screenshots or a link were I can investigate the situation?
Thank you!
Hi,
If you want to add html code in a page or template you can do it using the tagDiv Composer and raw html element – https://i.imgur.com/ZVVYZSt.png
For FAQ you can use a plugin or html code, if you like you can import from cloud in a page or template a pre-made FAQ – https://i.imgur.com/OTbRuNO.png – then just adjust the text and html code (this is not so easy as using a plugin).
To implement “FAQ Schema markup (JSON-LD)” you need a seo plugin:
How to add FAQ Schema in WordPress using Yoast SEO
Thank you!
Hi,
I see, but My question is that is need to make that element to work that way, because when you are logged in you also have the WordPress options – https://i.imgur.com/PjGYqVM.png – https://i.imgur.com/Vyut5qP.png Using this option is no longer need to edit the make change in the theme.
To change the element functionality you need to make the changes in the theme files and those should be revert after each theme update – wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/header/tdb_header_user.php – https://i.imgur.com/rLxgsd8.png
Thank you!
Hi,
So the problem is the sticky header? – https://i.imgur.com/IjULsiS.png if so then you need to edit the page using tagDiv Composer, select the row that contain the logo an menu and uncheck the sticky position option – https://i.imgur.com/IjULsiS.png save and clear all cache after that the row will no longer be sticky.
Thank you!
Hi,
We understand your situation and appreciate your patience. At this moment, there’s nothing we can do directly, as this issue requires a developer to check it out.
It is already on our list, and we hope the manager will assign it to a developer soon. However, please note that our team is currently going through a busy period, so it may take some time.
Thank you again for your understanding!
Hi,
Please use our guide for frontend submission form – https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-frontend-submission-form/ this guides provide the steps you need to make create the frontend form and what elements you need to use.
Thank you!
Hi Babak,
Can you please make a full backup for your website and contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a temporary wp-admin access to investigate this problem?
Thank you!
Hi,
First thing will be to check the website on your browser in incognito to see if the ads are display. It is possible to have an ad blocker extension on your browser and this will prevent you to see the ads, but on a real mobile were this is not installed the ads will be display.
Normally the ads can be removed using tagDiv Composer, editing the page and cloud templates, then removing the ad box elements (use right click on theme and select the delete option) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads-adsense-overview/
Thank you!
Hi,
Do you use the responsive version for your website? If not, then please make sure that the cache plugin you are using has mobile cache support.
Also, it is possible that the problem was resolved when you updated the article and in that moment the cache has been cleared on that article.
Thank you!
Hi,
For this you can use the theme ad box element and the theme panel ads options – https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/
Thank you!
Hi,
In case that you tried this solution:
You are in the right place, now what you need to do is to change the operator from ‘<' to '>‘ and the == to !== -> https://i.imgur.com/WwS3rAS.png like this – https://i.imgur.com/K5ZjJ1s.png after that save and check the theme panel social share options. After those are back, revert the code as it was first time.
and is not working, then please try this:
Edit the Newspaper theme and in functions.php file (wp-content/themes/Newspaper/functions.php) at the end of the file add the code from here -> https://pastebin.com/uAw5du5k then go to Newspaper theme panel, click on save settings button and check the social share if now are displayed.
Notice. After the social share are back the added code needs to be removed from wp-content/themes/Newspaper/functions.php
Thank you!
Hi,
To have a global template for your articles, please go to Newspaper > Theme panel > Post settings > Default post template – https://i.imgur.com/8Gdk2Mi.png and select from there the template you want to use as global.
Please notice that those articles that has assigned an individual template will use that one not the global one
Thank you!
Hi,
If you are using a cache plugin then you can choose from that plugin to exclude the tdbMenu.js from delay.
Thank you!
Hello,
I think there is a misunderstanding. Rimont Pro is a pre-built website made with the Newspaper theme, it is not a theme in itself, and when you bought the Newspaper theme by tagDiv I received access to all the pre-built websites. That is, you received not only the one you wanted, for that money you received over 100 pre-built variants that you can use.
Pre-built Websites: Introduction
Also, in the meantime I see that you managed to install the desired demo on your site.
Thank you
Hi,
Can you please make a test using only tagDiv plugins? From your details it’s like something is interfering with the Opt-in Builder and most of the time this is when you have a plugin conflict (or when a child theme is used and the code from it is interfering, in case you have child theme, please set the main theme for a test).
Thank you!
