The live search is based on popular search plugins and displays results that match the typed letters. It starts showing results after you type at least 3 letters.
Unfortunately, there are no options to change this behavior, and it cannot be customized.
As a workaround, we recommend using a dedicated live search plugin. Most of them use shortcodes, so they can be placed anywhere on your site using the tagDiv Composer and the shortcode element.

If the analytics code was set in the previous theme and not in an extra plugin that now exists on the website, then the results will be as you mentioned, because no code to retrieve information from the website is set. After making changes, make sure to set the Cloud Template for the new taxonomy. Keep in mind that if you change the slug, the previously added entries will no longer appear, because the new slug creates a different taxonomy parameter.
Also, don’t forget to update the slug in Composer for elements such as filters and Flex Blocks, so that the correct taxonomy is displayed.
