As I can see the image is resize from a smaller size -> https://i.imgur.com/AM5Tdlf.png and not from original size. This can be cause by some plugins (please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins and revolution slider (theme plugins), also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.) or sometimes the image that is set is ti small and need to be resize.

In some cases this s a plugin conflict, you can check this, you can never know. Also it can be from some restrictions or maybe from permalinks -> https://i.imgur.com/ISY1aZQ.png re-save theme, clear all cache and check again. Also make sure that you do not have some extra code in .htaccess that can provide this problem.

If I can ask, for what do you need a child theme? what do you want to set in it?
If you are using a PRO demo then you can achieve almost everything and you can edit entire website using tagDiv Composer.

Also I remember that there were some users that had this problem and this was caused from some plugins, now I do not remember what plugin was, but I think that was some cache or security plugin.

Also note that we recommend to make a full backup to website and database before making any major update, in this way If something is going wrong you can restore the backup.

Using vaultpress the backup was made for database? if yes then everything should be restore to normal.
