Hi,

There are many image elements in the tagDiv composer, choose the one you want, there are also title and text elements. Be sure to check multi-purpose elements as well.

For example you could use a title over image – http://prntscr.com/k5118v Set an image and a title of your choosing, and style theme with the available options.

Or if you want the page to display a post, use the homepage post element
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/homepage-one-top-post/
You can choose from which category the post will be shown, also the sorting.

Thanks

Hi,

1. There must a module selected, for you it is module 15 from what I can see
https://www.screencast.com/t/EifsPOsIve
If you want to keep using a blog homepage and change the module, you can do it there. Change the module and the blog homepage should reflect the changes. Maybe clear your cache if there are no changes, to refresh the page.

2. If you want the same in your category page, select the same module. Each category template can has a module section option as in the screenshots I provided above. Select module 15 for the same result. Also if you don’t want a category page top grid, disable it like in this example
https://www.screencast.com/t/xWwvLvmwEQ8D

3. You can keep using a blog homepage, there will be no problem.

4. Module 15 shows the whole content of a post. This is different from module 18 you use for that category page
Module 15 – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/module-15-layout/
Module 18 – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/module-18-layout/
So if you want the same result for the category page, modify it accordingly.
Module 15 does not require a featured image, it shows the whole content of a post, module 18 needs a featured image to create a thumbnail
https://www.screencast.com/t/FtQpH8on
The images are shown in your homepage are not thumbnails, they are images in the post content. Almost all other modules require a featured image to be set for the post.

5. Please change the category page module to module 15 for the same results. Module 15 will show the whole post content as I mentioned above. There are different settings for the blog page and category pages, not a global module selection. Sorry if this is an inconvenience.

6. I don’t know what you are referring to, provide more details about it. What cloning is that exactly?

Thanks

Hi,

I could take a look, please provide a link to your website.

Hi,

We recommend the tagDiv composer as the page builder. Also as of late, it can also be used to design post templates, category templates, author templates, etc
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Of course you can choose to use WPBakery, we will provide updates for the plugin.

As a note you should consider, future updates of the theme will contain new features or options that may not be possible without the tagDiv composer.

Other users may share their opinions in the matter, what they use and why.

Thanks

Hi,

Indeed, it seems to be a problem when you use “,” in the value. For me as well
https://www.screencast.com/t/bFWR9p4xymwV
If I use “.” in the value, the result seems accurate
https://www.screencast.com/t/Qfs5rbnwx

So it would be better to try and use values like this: “9.2” instead of “9,2” for accurate results. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks

Hi,

I don’t understand what you are referring to. If you have a question or problem, please try to explain it in more details.

Hi,

Does the ad appear if you enter it in a different location? Try to enter the code in a different theme panel spot, or even in a page in a text element (like a column text). Check if the ad appears there.

Given that all the requirements are met for Adsense there would be no problem
https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/76228?hl=en
https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/9724?hl=en

Also there is a troubleshooter here you could try

Contact your hosting, see if they can identify what is causing such a problem, maybe check error logs. Deactivating a plugin, in this case the WPBakery, should not cause website crashes or internal server errors. This would mean there is a level of instability in the website or server.

Simion C.
tagDiv Staff

There are some cases where there are errors provided after the templates cannot be loaded. Mostly server related errors that we will try to investigate and fix as soon as possible. Are there any errors displayed in your case?

Check the theme requirements, set the parameters as mentioned there
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
The WP memory value can be set higher if possible. You could review the guide and check. Let us know what you find.

Try it like this, see if it works proeprly

[vc_row][vc_column width="2/3"][td_block_15 custom_title="Anzeigen im Schaufenster" category_id="63" limit="6" ajax_pagination="next_prev"][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Hi,

What theme version are you using? Older than 8.7.3 Instagram will most likely not work
https://www.screencast.com/t/TxR1gxbJKh

See theme changelog here (bottom of the page)
https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609

There were changes made by them quite a while back, we fixed theme in a theme update at the time. Currently there are no known issues in the matter (latest 8.8.2 theme version).

So if you use an older theme version you could either try these solutions
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/social-counter-and-instagram-problem/
Or consider to update, guide here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

Thanks

Hi,

So you successfully save the settings or changes in the theme panel
https://www.screencast.com/t/qg4nkwpBba
Then as you view the website these are not displayed. It could be caching, if you use a caching plugin try to clear the cache. Also clear the browser cache or force refresh the page (should be Ctrl+Shift+R). Then check if the same happens.

I could take a look at the website if needed, mention what settings you are using and I will inspect it.

Thanks

That page has no mobile variant, you can leave it like that for desktop and create a mobile page with the simple mobile editor. Or deactivate the mobile theme plugin.

The optional mobile theme is supposed to be used if you want to display a simpler and lighter version of the website.
There would be no point to use the mobile theme if you want to display the same page content from desktop.

Simion C.

Hi,

First you should check the theme requirements guide here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If needed ask your hosting provider to increase the allocated resources as mentioned there. A WP memory value of 256M would be enough for most users.

If there is still a problem, check plugins. Deactivate them all except theme plugins and check if the issue is solved. Deactivate them by FTP if you cannot log in
https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-deactivate-all-plugins-when-not-able-to-access-wp-admin/

Let us know what you find.

Hi,

First you could check the theme requirements guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Then if there is still a problem, check plugins. Deactivate them all except theme plugins. Ultimately reinstall the theme and check again

Hi,

If this is your website, there are some mixed content issues at first sight
https://www.screencast.com/t/1Wx8Ujhvn3lB
They are referring to some fonts you are using on the website and could influence loading speed.

Also plugins may slow down the website, try as a quick test to deactivate theme all, leave only theme plugins active, check before and after loading speed.

I see you have both page builders active, that would have a large impact on loading speed. Deactivate the one you don’t use. We recommend that users use the tagDiv composer, we constantly try to optimize this builder. Try as a test to deactivate WPBakery, check the results.

Install a caching plugin or use free Cloudflare. We recommend WP super cache as a caching plugin
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Or use Cloudflare with these settings
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/

Thanks

Simion C.
tagDiv Staff

Hi,

That would happen if you use the optional mobile theme plugin
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

When that plugin is active you will have to create two versions of the page. One for desktop with the page builder, one for mobile with the simple mobile editor
https://www.screencast.com/t/udTnQlVCu

So if you want the same content from desktop to be displayed on mobile, deactivate the mobile theme plugin.

Thanks

That message should not prevent you from editing the page with the composer, despite it being displayed.

If you deactivated some plugins and the situation has improved, then it could be some kind of conflict between one or more of those plugins and the theme. Or this could signal insufficient resources, especially WP memory. For most users setting the memory to 256M would be enough.

Hi,

Let’s continue the discussion in this topic. What exactly are you doing and what is happening? I tried the inline single image element, works properly
https://www.screencast.com/t/pmqZbvV0jS
There would be such a problem if WPBakery is also active. If you deactivate it the issue should be solved. If you use WPBakery to build pages, deactivate the tagDiv composer. There could be problems in some cases and with some elements when both are active.

Simion C.
tagDiv Staff

Hi,

@hari
The inline single image is a different element than a block. These are blocks
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/
The inline single image is a multi-purpose element
https://www.screencast.com/t/LdQxMnMIbm4
So an inline image element cannot be inserted in a block element. Please correct me if needed and also provide more details if possible, for a better understanding.

Simion C.
tagDiv Staff

Hi,

Where exactly do you want to display that block? I also tried that with a custom ad for example, in a page
https://www.screencast.com/t/KYKjPiLAbxqp
https://www.screencast.com/t/JU97u0EUYjvV
https://www.screencast.com/t/87iN6wbra

Tried that on mobile, seems to work for me
https://www.screencast.com/t/kr8ED3Nfw5m
I have never tried this before on mobile, if it does not work for you I don’t know why that is happening.

Simion C.

Hi,

The WPBakery version provided in the theme package is 5.5.1 I made a few tests with it but it seems to work same as before with the theme
https://www.screencast.com/t/Y4vTtHOPBPE
https://www.screencast.com/t/EbuUy0g4asm

Be sure that the tagDiv composer and cloud library plugins are deactivated or there could be problems with WPBakery. After you update the theme the composer will be activated automatically.

Thanks

Simion C.
tagDiv Staff

Hi,

That message if displayed if you for example updated the theme but not the plugins. The tagDiv composer and social counter plugin should update automatically, but it seems sometimes this fails.

An update button should be displayed in the theme plugins panel for most theme plugins, after you update the theme
https://www.screencast.com/t/g3IujbaBG3ea
Or you can simply delete them and reinstall them from the latest theme package you download
https://www.screencast.com/t/Zk8WRXuPh

If you still have problems, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin access and cPanel if possible. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Thanks

Hi,

By a theme option that is not possible, only the published date will be displayed. There is a topic containing a code modification that has to be made in the post templates, in order to replace the default format with the last updated
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/post-last-updated/
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks
