These problems appear when you are using an old theme version and the last version of WordPress, these are not compatible https://i.imgur.com/1fwoN6e.png, one solution that can work is to use jQuery Migrate Helper plugin and the second solution is to make a full back and update the theme to Newspaper v10.3.7 -> https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/ also make sure that all theme plugins are enable, if not you’ll have only shortocdes on your website.

Yes, In any wordpress setup you have the following:
Post Content ( which is created using Gutenberg or Classic editor usually )
Post Template ( The aesthetics of your post layout. It includes blocks, different styling elements, etc )

Unfortunately this search function is not available in Newspaper theme. You will have to find a 3rd party plugin or do it manually.

Please provide a screenshot of your system status and make sure that it is fully set as you can see in our guide here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ Please note that this is a MUST for the Newspaper Theme to run.
Also if this does not help I would start looking for a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

I would start by reinstalling the tagDiv Composer plugin. This will automatically update it to the latest version. After this you will have to clear your cache.
If this does not work the next step is checking for plugin conflicts, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

TagDiv Composer is available only to edit Post Templates, not Post Content. For editing posts you can use the default wordpress editor.

At the moment you can create a section for posts with no featured image as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/SUsfBngfzWW choose that the featured image is hidden and you can customize the rest of the block using tagDiv Composer.

2. That is a new feature implemented in the Newspaper Theme which allows you to create custom templates like the ones from desktop but custom made for your mobile viewport.

The viewports allow you to see and make small changes when using tagDiv Composer. Mobile templates are a new way to customize your mobile look. It is not related with Mobile theme. It works exactly like the templates for the desktop but they are meant for mobile.
