Hello,
You can change the caption colour with tagDiv Composer, select the Single Post Featured Image and in the tab “Style” you can change the colour -> https://i.imgur.com/nZKy0Dp.jpg also, inside the Single Post Content -> https://i.imgur.com/LX5yWKx.png
Also, to change the colours for Single Post Comments -> https://i.imgur.com/ZkK9NOn.png, but please make sure the settings that you do are saved.
Please check the console when you try to save the changes made with tagDiv Composer maybe is possible to be from the firewall or security module which blocks the admin-ajax.php request, which usually displays a 403 or 404 error.
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module that blocks this.
If you use a plugin like Wordfence please set it in learning mode.
Also, if you are using Cloudflare, please make sure that is set as in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/, you need to disable the Rocket Loader.
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!

Hello, thank you for your reply, I tried changing a setting on the Theme Panel, but the console did not display a 403 and neither a 404.
The only recent change that was made server wise, was to enable HTTP/2 in Apache, I reverted that change, but the problem still persists.
Hello,
Usually, this issue is related to a firewall or security module which blocks the admin-ajax.php requests. Please verify the console for error while saving the settings on the Theme Panel, usually, it displays a 403 or 404 error.
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module that blocks this.
If you use a plugin like Wordfence please set it in learning mode.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please check if this code is missing from your .htaccess: https://www.screencast.com/t/iN0R93dD3p from our requirements https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ this requirement is not displayed in System Status.
Usually, after you set the code in .htaccess the WP editor works well.
Please do a test using only tagDiv plugins and try to open the WP Editor.
Please check the console if you have any errors when you try to open the wp editor, maybe is possible to be from the firewall or security module which blocks the admin-ajax.php request, which usually displays a 403 or 404 error.
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module that blocks this.
Thank you!
I want to use the Mailchimp pop-up subscription form. They require some code to be added to the header of the website, which I did, using the relevant section in the theme panel. And it now appears in the header, as hoped for.
However, when I load the website, I receive a 403 message in the console. It seems something is blocking the Mailchimp script from running, and so now Mailchimp cannot verify our website. Mailchimp tells me it has something to do with our website. I’ve disabled all the plugins. Is there any other reason the Newspaper theme would stop script from running?
Good Afternoon,
I posted a new article ( https://egzostive.com/autoworld-supercars-january/3/ ) that seems to show an error message (“Warning: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in /home2/egzostiv/public_html/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 3403”) when I include an envira gallery.
Until I used the pagination, the entire article was gone with an error msg. Now only page 3 with the gallery shows such message.
Is there a way to overcome this problem?
Best
Z

Hello @CRiTiCAL!
“Column text” and “text with title” elements have a button called “edit content” and if you click on that button, the WP Editor will open and you can add some text/code there. Close the WP Editor from X, save the changes from Composer and view the page to see the changes.
If you did these steps and you can’t see the content on the frontend, then this can be caused if something interfere there when the WP Editor saves the content you added and the process can not be completed. Please check the steps from here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/unable-to-edit-text-with-title/ and also other possible issue as here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/403-error-on-tagdiv-composer-when-trying-to-use-wp-editor-wpedito-php/
Please check your .htaccess file also: https://www.screencast.com/t/MJ78SDZr4Gl -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hello, I am having an issue with shortcodes. Unfortunately, I do not have a “Column Text” element available and the “Title with Text” element doesn’t seem to work properly. When I place the element and then click the “edit content” button, the modal window opens and the loading spinner shows, but spinner never goes away and I am unable to edit anything inside the modal.
When I look at the console, I see that https://www.seetucsonhomes.com/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/wpeditor.php?wp_path=/var/www/ is returning a 403. How can I get the “Title with Text” element to work properly and, if not available, how else can I place shortcodes when utilizing the Tagdiv Composer? Thank you for your help!

I am so sorry Anamaria, I’m not an expert. Just the owner of the website and unable to understand all the specifics. However I can tell/confirm the following:
a. I don’t get any 403 or 404 error when saving nor working on with the TagDiv composer.
b. I don’t have wordfence pluging installed.
c. Neither Cloudflare.
d. Deactivated all plugins except tagdiv ones.
e. Have cleared cache using recommended by TagDiv SuperCache.
After doing all the above the website still:
a. Doesn’t play any other videos than the one you have tasted at yours.
b. Saving in TagDiv Composer stays clogged.
Anything else you can help me out with please?
Thanks in advance,
Cristyan

Hello @indac!

Hello,
So, if you have the 403 error, please check if you have a firewall or security module which blocks the admin-ajax.php request as I said on this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/theme-panel-settings-are-not-saving-2/ and ask your host if there is a security module (ModSecurity enabled) on the server.
Also, please purge the OPcache from WP Rocket and clear all cache.
Thank you!

Hello @timitt!
Please make sure that you have set the mod substitute in the htaccess file https://i.imgur.com/VuMw1lq.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ and you do not have any modSecurity enabled on host. Check this guide also: https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/
Please check the console from “Inspect” to see if your console has a 403 error and it can be caused by more situations avoiding the javascript to load.

I’m on debug mode and yes it’s a related problem
the console says
When inserting images: POST https://mysite.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php 403
when adding js: POST https://mysite.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?td_theme_name=Newspaper&v=11.3.2 403

dispatch @ load-scripts.php?c=1…p-hooks&ver=5.8.2:2

I’ve changed the permissions in the “admin-ajax.php” file even to 777 and I’m stuck.
